I would like to Thank the owner and property management for an awesome experience here at Kona Pacific B409! My family and I, truly enjoyed our stay there. From the very start on web search for that perfect vacation property, B409 stood out for us! Online reservations to check-in was a breeze! The location was excellent. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed the day activities along with the night time highlights overlooking a beautiful view along the water's edge. Although we were located in the middle hub of Kailua-Kona town, we slept like babies! No outside noise of traffic and Party goers. I liked that they had extra beddings, towels, fully equipped with all kitchen utensils and cookware. Very beautiful upgraded kitchen and bath! The lanai was breathtaking with both mountain and ocean views and very spacious! B409 comfortably accommodated my family of 6. Even provided a fishing pole which my son enjoyed greatly. A huge Mahalo! We will be back next year!

great vacation, loved comming into the condo. Ac's were older and loud. Then After further reading I found that I was liable for $10 a day for the use of the ac.. I was surprised and This was not an up front agreement. If the electric bill is high, it might be due to the age of the ac's. and again they were very loud. you might look into a mitsubishi..

Response from Knutson & Associates Aloha Ben, Thank you so much for your review on Kona Pacific B409. I'm surprised to hear the comment on the AC units, as they are new! The owner installed them only a little over a year ago. Wall units are louder than central AC in general, this is the 1st we've heard of them being loud since the replacement. I will look into though. The $10.00 extra per day is for excessive use where the units would flood onto a lower unit or all over the lanai.(Leaving doors open, leaving unit and having AC running) We would never charge for just general usage. We want our guests to feel comfortable in Hawaii's heat and general usage of the AC units is absolutely fine, we're sorry for the misunderstanding ~Knutson & Associates Property Management

First of all the management company was great, as a property manager myself, I know the importance of a flawless arrival or move in. This was so easy and I had all the info needed way before arrival. I give the management company an A+ because I did not have to call them once. This condo was a great place to stay. I have lived in Kona and you cannot get a more central location than this. The lanai was fantastic, the view was amazing, it was quiet and relaxing, the pool area was fantastic. Just a perfect place to stay. Easy to park, elevator was close to unit, perfect. Suggestions I would make would be to make sure the shower curtains are clean or new (this is the reason for my 4 stars only for cleanliness, my shower curtain was gross) , in the master bath there definitly needs to be something to hang on to getting in and out of the tub, more utensils there is definitly not enough for a family staying there, tea towels and dish cloths would be essential to keeping the place clean. Also they can be easily washed with the bath towels. One last thing that I would change if it were my rental would be the carpets. They are not horrible but definitly could make the place 100 percent if they were not there. I hope this gives a future tenant an idea of the vacation rental, my suggesstions are basic and in no way would keep me from renting this place again. This will always be my first choice for a place to stay.

We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return to this place and/or recommend to others. We particularly enjoyed the fact it was recently renovated. The location was fantastic, only a very short walk to Kona and good restaurants. Very nice place!The only negative, and we say this only so it might be improved upon, is that we had advised Knutson management by phone the day after arrival that there were a number of broken items in the unit that should be fixed. Not major items but things that should be looked at so they don't get worse, and from our estimation - easily fixed. The representative advise that the maintenance person would be advised and be to the unit as soon as possible. 9 days later when we left we had never seen anyone, and nothing had been fixed. From memory, the shelving in the master bedroom closet was pulled off the wall, a few screen patches had fallen off, all three AC units had a red filter light on, the main living area AC unit was leaking so much water it had pooled on the lanai, which left a small lake for the entire stay (AC unit was not used much), the rear legs on a chair in the second bedroom were bent in and likely to break off under weight, and one of the hinges on one of the new kitchen cabinets was very loose and the door was not aligned right.

We had a gret time in Kona due to the condo's location, location, location! Only a few blocks to downtown Kona but also easy access to the highway. We traveled to Captain Cook, around the south of the island to Volcanoes National Park to Hilo and back to Kona over the Saddle Road. Also went to the Kohala Coast and home thru Waimea hills,green fields and paniolo country.The contemporary condo has a bay view and lanai from which to view it. Comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen, 3 bathrooms, washer and dryer, large TV. A good time was had by all.
