Lazy Days on the Beach
Rebecca M. from Fort Worth, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in April, 2017 It was very nice & peaceful. A one day vacation filled with a beautiful sunrise & fabulous waves! Loved it! Would recommend to everyone!
A guest from Little Elm, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 First of all we loved the house. It's small and old but nicely refurbished and well kept. The house has everything you need to be comfortable during a stay and really feels like a home. The one critique of the interior would be the full size tub in the tiny bathroom which makes it really hard to get in and out.The property is small and the rear parking is quite tight but still manageable with our full size SUV. The front porch swing is a nice place to relax during a morning cup of coffee or winding down a day.Access to the beach is great with only a 2 - 3 minute walk to the surf. Now for the bad stuff... The neighbors to the east had a bearing going out on their AC unit which sounded like nails on a chalkboard but very very loud. This lasted two days. The AC repairman was finally out so I think that's most likely fixed now.The neighbors to the west of the house like to "party" late into the evening playing very loud music. After a tiring day in the sun it's not something you want to hear when trying to sleep. This happened more than once during our 3 night stay.I would still happily return to the house for another vacation but I would bring ear plugs next time.
Lynetta R. from Enterprise, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 Great location!!! Very clean and had everything u could think of to make stay enjoyable and stress less. Will definitely use again!!!!
A guest from Pflugerville, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Our overall rental experience was very good. The Lazy Days Cottage is so welcoming and comfortable. It sleeps 6 and is adorable in every possible way. Looks brand new and has many brand new items inside the house. Probably not ideal for little kids as there are a lot of knick knacks around that give it such a great beachy atmosphere. Older kids should be able to appreciate all the special touches and behave respectfully around them. We had our teenagers and they loved it. The kitchen is well equipped. All in all, we loved our time there and in Galveston. The cottage is within a block of the seawall and ocean and just a short walk to Pleasure Pier, shopping and dining. We enjoyed the less crowded beach near the house versus going to a public beach.
A guest from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 This cottage is beautifully decorated and well-appointed. Its interior is comfortable and better finished than the usual vacation rental. Great location -- one block from the beach. It's small and cozy--perfect for 1 or 2; OK for a small group.
