Westside favorite with a hot tub - Perfect for skiing, biking and golf!
The Trailhead sits in the perfect spot; positioned to view the Cascade Range, and walk your mountain bike across the street to Phil's Trail, thus the name of this awesome home! Century Drive is one half block from this home -- Get to Mt. Bachelor in 24 minutes, downtown and the Old Mill in four minutes. Use the hot tub (quietly please ) in the comfortable back yard and "approved" dogs are okay. A fireplace and a big screen TV continue to make this place a great stay for the whole family or group. Speaking of groups, use the Tall Timber and/or Osprey to accommodate quiet groups or teams, families, or corporate gatherings. All three houses are only several homes apart - works perfectly for quiet groups. NOTE: the neighborhood that all three homes are located in is a neighborhood with working families, Absolutely no parties are allowed -- no exceptions. Guest who ignore the rule are asked to vacate w/o exception. We do encourage quiet guests by all means. Thank you for your understanding in respecting the neighborhood and Bend's VR ordinances.

Bachelorette Party Weekend
Kelsey S. from University Place, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2016 Stayed here with a group of 9 girls for our friend's bachelorette party weekend. We loved it! The house is spacious- room for everyone to sleep in a bed. Kitchen is large and adequate space to cook large meals for everyone and there is a big dining table. Hot tub was nice to have as well! Driving distance to the main downtown area but not too far at all.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals, Inc. Thank you ladies for being gracious and respectful to the neighborhood! We are happy to offer housing to you always!! Thank you for the review! BDVR
Katie F. from Salem, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 We had a great time at the Trailhead! We had a total of 11 people there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Maria was especially helpful when we discovered a minor issue with the hot tub and sent Tracy out to fix it right away! Everyone we dealt with was extra-friendly, extremely helpful, and treated us like we were all old friends! We will definitely be staying with Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals again!
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals, Inc. Hi Katie: We loved having you and thanks so much for your review! A late Happy Birthday to the birthday gal.
A guest from Portland, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 We had a very nice time in the rental and enjoyed our stay. However, Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals misrepresented The Trailhead. We were looking for a place in Bend specifically to be within walking distance of the Les Schwab Ampitheater and were assured by BDVR that The Trailhead was a "five minute walk." This was then changed to a "confident ten minute walk" which, upon arrival at a "Lane", not "Court", as specified in my rental documents, that we were a 3 mile distance from the Ampitheater. Upon calling BDVR, they assured me that they quoted a "ten minute bike ride." I have the emails, and can assure you that we would have chosen a different house had we known the truth. Overall though, the house was comfortable, even though we had to drive to the Ampitheater. I will likely not use BDVR in the future based on their misrepresentation of the property and the inaccuracies of their paperwork.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals, Inc. Hello Amy: So Very sorry - clearly there is a Misunderstanding. Quote: The Trailhead sits in the perfect spot. Positioned to view the Cascade Range, and walk your mountain bike across the street to Phil's Trail, thus the name of this awesome home! Century Drive is one half block from this home- Get to Mt. Bachelor in 24 minutes, downtown and the Old Mill in four minutes. This is addressing using a vehicle surely, and is taken directly from the copy written up about the house. And as I have riden my bike to Les Schwab from this house I would with confidence state 10/12 minutes to the Ampitheater, down a hill and then coming back it is up hill, yes that would take longer. My apologies if there was a conversation with a receptionist who gave poor directions, yet there are only two ladies and one that is no longer with the company. Sincerely, there would never be any reason to misrepresent any homes location.
A guest from Eugene, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 When you travel from our of town you don't expect that you would need to bring your own toilet paper, or need extra shower towels for a house that is rented for up to 12 people. There were 7 shower towels, 3 kitchen towels and 7 rolls or toilet paper for 12 people for 3 days. Very unhappy with the unconvinced this caused as well as having no garbage bags in the home. These small things can really casual some issues when you pay so much for a rental house and expect to have these items in a home. I would probably not stay at this home again or recommend it to a friend.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals, Inc. Hello Hannah: Gosh so sorry that you are unhappy with the Trailhead, this is untypical, yet important for you to have a good stay. The bath towels are absolutely supposed to be up to count, and we would have supplied the void immediately has we known. We want you to contact us for anything. Our best~
Our instructions to have three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, if there were not, my apologies. If a group goes thru nine rolls then, it would be up to them to replenish, as stated in the paper work sent out to reservations.
A guest from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 We loved the set up of the house. It was perfect for a group of ladies celebratin a bachelorette party. The beds were comfortable & it had a great kitchen & dining area.
Reviewed by: Emily D. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 We had a few adults and several little kids- and this place was great. Close to Riverbend park and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids loved the hot tub and the game cabinet. And there were enough beds that all the kids were happy and nobody was on the floor!
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals, Inc. Hi Emily: Delighted everyone got a bed and a bunch of fun! TrailHead's is a perfect spot for year-round activities. Thank you for the review.
Chad A. from Redmond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 We had 12 guys travel to Bend for a golf trip. The house was very nice and clean, with the perfect location for us. I would say this house would suit 2 families better than 12 guys, as there are 2 large king beds, so we had to bunk up together which I didn't anticipate. One thing that really irritated me was being charged a $30 credit card convenience fee that was not disclosed. That should be on the credit card authorization form people have to sign. Other than that, this was a great stay. I would recommend this home to other. The road leading in has way too many speed bumps too.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals Good morning Chad: I am sorry not everything aligned well. When you contacted us for the stay 10 adults had been discussed, sorry, and perhaps no detail discussed about sleeping surfaces? We do have many male golf groups come in, and we understand the fellows each want their own bed. We can bring in roll-aways to assist when we know. The $30 cc proccesing charge (not convenience charge) was disclosed and the choice of getting the check to us for the balance by a certain date, or the CC must then be used with the 3% of what is charged per our being charged. I wanted to clear this up with you because on your next visit we want to be sure to have all the beds there, and clarity on the funding process. ON those speed bumps, I have whip lash from them!! We were able to get rid of them in the neighborhood the house is in--but our neighbors have kept theirs. We are starting to think there can be some sporting event used with them. Thank you for staying with us, and for your understanding. Sincerely.
Gina S. from Medford, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 Overall this was a comfortable space. Not as clean as expected but livable. Was able to sleep all in our party but bed configurations a little odd.
Krissy M. from Vancouver, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 Staff was very accomodating and helpful when booking our reservation for 5 baseball players and their families. We had a little excitement when we arrived and the 3rd bedroom was locked, but staff arrived within 30 minutes to unlock the room. The bunkroom was perfect for 5 teenage boys and 2 sets of parents (we also had Tall Timber down the road for the remaining parents). We loved how close to Old Mill and Century Drive we were, and the neighbors were friendly. Great stay!
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals Hi Krissy: That was a surprise for everyone with the third room locked off!! Thank you, for your patience and understanding in getting the key and it unlocked. So pleased both homes worked for the group and we hope you took the banner!!
Lacey S. from Bosie, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 It was perfect for the two couples that stayed and the house was large enough it could have been comfortable still with more people. The location was good; however, we were unable to locate the walking trails mentioned but we still had some great walks because the area is so beautiful. The back patio is beautiful but there is not a back yard incase u were planning to play games or anything outside. Overall the house worked wonderfully for what we needed it for and the huge king size beds were very comfortable.
Property Manager Response: Response from Bend Dutch Vacation Rentals Hi Lacey:Thank you for your review. Yes, the house is large enough for bigger groups indeed as a three bedroom plus!! The walking trail is right across the street, it is used for many Bend running events and well marked. Also the maps on the dining walls indicate this trail and several other trails; I am sorry these were not in your view. We would have been happy to provide answers to any questions. The front yard has worked well for playing games, and yes, the back yard is intimate and a secret harbor! We are so pleased that you enjoyed the Trailhead, please come visit us once more!
A guest from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2010 Bed configuration in each room should be explained on the web site. A king and a double in the same room is unexpected. Not enough seating for 12 guests at the dining table is a drawback. Proximity to the mountain bike trails was really great. House was well equipped otherwise, and quite enjoyable.
