Lovely Stay in Whistler
Joe I. from Chatham, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2017 We throughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very pleasant, travel to the slopes couldn't be easier and our host was very accommodating, and promptly responded to our travel plans as they changed. I would definitely stay here again.
Christopher G. from London, United Kingdom recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2017 Location: Ideally located for buses to Blackcomb lifts (5mins journey time max). Size: ample room for a 2 bed with 2 bathrooms. Very large open plan kitchen/lounge.Luxury: of hot tub and underground parking spot.
A guest from Shoreline, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2017 We had a great time at this location. Spacious for up to 5 people with an open living room with a large kitchen for cooking meals. Having the private hot tub was excellent. The upper village is a more quiet location, especially on a busy weekend, but is a short walk to the base of Blackcomb and the shuttle is also nearby. Only recommendation would be to have wood for the fireplace. There were starter logs, but not wood.
Grit H. from Langley, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2016 My only problem was initial entry to parking garage-was told to park outside the garage, go to the unit to get key and then enter. A tow truck had my car hooked up as someone had reported me to be in the way of entry! It cost me $80 to get my car down! Must be a better way to do this?
Kim C. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2016 We found Snowgoose perfect for our stay. We loved the proximity to the Upper Village and Lost lake. The unit was clean and the beds comfortable. The TV was great for watching the Olympics. Everything was in working order. There were fans for the very hot days we enjoyed. Barry provided excellent service and provided a coffee grinder and electric grill for out stay. That was outstanding service. The kitchen works, its clean but its a little tired and it could do with a few simple items - appliances are original to the build. Maybe time for some new ones. If you like to cook you will find the knife situation disappointing. A coffee grinder is needed. Otherwise, great unit and would not hesitate coming back.
A guest from Nanaimo, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2016 Besides that somehow our arrival got missed by housekeeping as well as the third party inspector and when we arrived at 8pm the place was a total disaster, so dirty and messy we did have a nice stay. We called right away and they sent over housekeepers right away but still a bit annoyed as then I had to keep my 8 month old up for an hour and a half while they cleaned and we vacuumed and cleaned up a small area in the dining room and sat there while the rest was cleaned. So we feel a bit like we got ripped off a night as we couldn't do much while they were cleaning and then the baby was over tired and hard to put to sleep so that took even longer. The rental manager did try and make it up to us and was really nice to deal with but still feel like they could have done more considering we paid a lot for this nice vacation and it was a pretty big inconvience. Overall the condo is nice and the hot tub on the deck was much enjoyed. A bit farther from the village than we had expected but it is a nice walk. Perfect size condo for two couples and a child and love that they welcome dogs.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Once in a while, there is a combination of bad communication that results in disasters like this. we are very sorry for the incident and ask that you contact us prior to your next visit, and we will try to do something more for you.
Thomas H. from Leaburg, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2016 The Snowgoose provided a comfortable, clean and convenient spot to enjoy a ski holiday in Whistler/Blackolm. The unit billed as a ski property but despite several tries we couldn't find that unmarked trail! You are right on the shuttle circuit so getting to lifts was no problem. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Some wood for the fireplace would have been nice, only place we could find it was in Creekside at gas station. Wifi worked well and having indoor parking was wonderful. While the bedrooms are small and the furnishings by no means luxurious it was overall a very nice experience and the management staff was readily available to answer any questions. We would certainly stay here again.
Sherry G. from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2015 We stayed for 2 days during CrankWorx and it was incredibly busy in the village during that time. It was nice to have the peace and quiet of a comfortable, homey place to go back to at the end of the day. It rained heavily one day and it was great to have the washer and dryer to clean up and dry all the wet clothes. A very nice place. My husband, myself and our son and his friend look forward to staying there again in the future.
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in August, 2015 We had a great experience---from booking until it was our time to leave the unit (which was very comfortable, clean and in a fantastic location). We wouldn't hesitate to go back!
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2015 We enjoyed our weekend @ Whistler in this great condo. The location is perfect , quiet, close to lifts, cross country trails, Upper Village, short stroll to Whistler Village. The new snow was beautiful! Rain changed our plans from cross country skiing to snowshoeing around Blueberry Hill trails, which was lovely! Next day we hiked to Brandwine Fall & beyond. Neither outing did we meet anyone on the trails. Hot tub was a welcome treat, day or night!
Melissa V. from Olympia, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2014 This condo was everything we could have asked for this Thanksgiving. We are travelers for work away from home and we felt very comfortable here during the holiday. I would absolutely book again. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Barry. Skiing was a little early in the season but we still had a blast at this beautiful mountain! Thank you for sharing your home!
great place! great location! would recommend to anyone
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 I rented this place out for my summer camp workers to ease off and relax for a end of summer break, before going back to school and working at the daycare full time. Great place enjoyed our stay! I would come back again next summer! Only a 15 minute walk to the village and we also enjoyed the hot tub at night which was an added bonus to pick this place.
Paula T. from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 The property was beautiful, exactly as described and exactly what we needed. The agency was friendly & responsive to our needs.
Curtis J. from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Our family of 4 (+ small dog) had an amazing, but quick, 4 day vacation here. The townhouse was the perfect size for complaints. 10 minute walk to the upper village, less than 20 to the main village. Hot tub was a terrific bonus as a way to relax after the kids were in bed. Thank you!
SnowGoose with Construction Noise, dryer not working, etc.
Martha J. from Petaluma, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Unfortunately, we were not told there would be serious roofing construction while we were in the unit. The workers arrived before 8am, with compressors right outside our unit. It was hard to have the windows open to enjoy the scenery, with crews lurking about. Disappointed in Rental Agency, Peak Accommodations for not letting us now this.Dryer did not work, and there was NO condiments, oils, etc. you had to purchase all items for cooking. In the past, most VRBO's at least have a few items like Olive Oil, butter, etc. to get one started. Location was convenient, and hot tub nice. Great lay-out of place. We had 3 teenage boys and myself, nice to have 2 bathrooms, too.
Sally K. from Aylesbury, Bucks recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2014 Snowgoose 5 is in a lovely quiet location in Upper Village,it was a shame when we stayed that the roof was being re roofed and we were staying in a building site, the roofers having to stop and lift the safety tape for us to pass. The accommodation itself was spacious and luxurious. Again the hot tub we could only use when the builders weren't there. We would recommend this property for a stay in Whistler. However we felt Peak to Green should of notified us prior to our arrival or found us alternative accommodation'.Staff just apologised but it spoilt our stay!
A guest from Huntington Station, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 it was good value,we enjoyed the hot tub, open fire place.not as close to the mountain as we were told. The bus was easy and just out the door which was nice, and the village was a nice walk about 10 minutes. over all alittle small. the second bedroom, very small for 2 adults who have ski gear.kitchen supplies need some updating.like a good cutting knife.Over all we had a good time.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. We appreciate your feedback.
Justin L. from Oklahoma City, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2014 Really enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean and management want great! We ended up sleeping 6 people in here but we had 3 girls in one bedroom sharing 2 beds they pushed together. Two guys were in one bed and I was on the pull out sofa. We did it, but hopefully everyone in your party is close enough to share a couple if beds. Hot tub was great and fit 6 easily. There were plenty of towels and kitchenware to cook with. Overall, it was a great experience!
Nice comfortable condo, well suited to our family of 4
Mary Ellen B. from Stamford, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 The condo was as advertised. It was well lit and clean. It was close to the bus line. We enjoyed the hottub. Having a washer and dryer was a treat. The bedrooms were small but comfortable.
Javier D. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2013 Plus side; well meaning helpful, friendly staff, great location, unit was as described when booked. Good sized unit. Now the Downside; person we checked in with was on his first day on the job, and was unfamiliar with the property we rented and unable to answer some basic questions about it. He was very nice but not well trained.Secondly, the two single beds had dirty sheets on them, aside from that the unit was fairly clean.Lastly I'd say the unit was showing some wear and tear that could easily be addressed (dirty grout in tiles, broken closet doors and a toaster that didn't work)
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Hmmm. we appreciate feedback, however, there is no way that our company would ever have dirty sheets on a bed. That is just not possible. Sheets are not ironed during the laundry process but they are definitely cleaned. We are uncertain about the broken toaster, as subsequent guests are still using it and no one called us to ask for another. We keep them in stock and they are replaced within hours of guests informing us. We hire new staff each fall for the busy winter season. Not all of them have time to go to each of our properties, but it is a good idea which I will implement in the future.
I always fail to understand why guests do not call us with comments during their stay when we can do something about issues, instead of writing them for public display after their stay. Thanks, Manager
Great place, professional property mgmt... awesome hot tub!
Chris M. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Loved this spot... we had 6 adults stay here, tons of room, hot tub is massive and great after a day on the hills. Very clean and nice place. Property mgmt folks were a pleasure to deal with. No issues at all.
Ross L. from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 Overall I would say that the stay was very good.I loved the location for skiing out and the free bus stop right outside the door was excellent as well. The place could use some updating but was still very good and roomy for 4 people and two dogs.
Benjamin M. from Kopavogur, Kopavogur recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 We loved very much the outdoor bath tube after ski and the nice fireplace. The appartment was perfect and we had a great vacation. Thanks
