It was OK
A guest from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2015 We had a good experience overall. The property is obviously older and dated but kept clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The central location of the property was great for us, as it was our first time here and wanted to explore the entire island. The room we were in, 2544, was also dated and quite small, but we don't spend a lot of time in our room, so that wasn't a big issue. It's hard to say if I'd recommend this particular unit to a friend, it would depend very much on their expectations for their vacation. We are not resort people and did not hang out here since the island is what we came for, but for the price, it was an OK deal, no major complaints.
Ken G. from LaSalle, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in January, 2014 Only downfall was that there was no kitchenette....would have preferred a unit with a kitchen or at least a microwave in the room and the fridge could have been a bit bigger. The unit it self was very clean and has a wonderful view of the pools and a view that overlooks to the ocean... very nice.
A beautiful resort but private unit needed some work.
Tamara J. from Winston Salem, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2013 First, the resort was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurants were pricey, but it is Hawaii so no major complaints. The room, unit 2544, boasted 2 king serenity beds, which was completely false. There were 2 beds and they were comfortable, but they were queens at best and most likely double/full. The unit being a private unit meant that extermination had to be done with authorization, so we had ants our first night. Housekeeping was wonderful and came and sprayed, which took care of the problem. Overall, the experience was great and I will most likely stay at KBR again on my next trip. Now I know to ask certain questions before agreeing to rent a private unit.
Michele S. from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2013 I was unaware of surcharges of 15.00 daily just to have clean towels and toilet paper in my room. The hotel staff very friendly. Pool and ocean view was very nice to wake up to.
A guest from Springfield, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2013 The view from the room is great! We had most everything we needed, although a regular coffee pot would be good. Kauai Beach Resort staff were helpful. Looking forward to returning.
Michael S. from Renton, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for business and like the property, but I was expecting a condo rental, not a standard hotel room. This is a nice property, good location , but would not recommend using your rental service.
Scott A. from Reno, Nevada recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 The room and resort was clean and the resort was beautiful. I would call the room more of a partial ocean view rather than an ocean view as there are a couple more buildings between it and the ocean. There were a lot of extra charges, but no surprises as the rental company did a good job identifying them. I think my biggest disapointment was the beach. It is not a swimming/wading/boogie boarding beach as it has black lava rock right offshore. But the pools and hot tubs were great, there was some good entertainment and we had a wonderful time. For the price you really cant beat the value that this rental provided.
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2011 We stayed at Kauai beach resort in room 5244 which has a view of the most beautifully landscaped pool area I have ever seen with waterfalls everywhere and a view of the Pacific right behind it.The tops of the palm trees rustling in the wind with the combined sounds of the waterfalls around the pool and the waves on the beach with the cool air from the ocean blowing in from our opened window at night was a recipe for sleep like nothing I've ever experienced. If I ever return, I will want to stay in the exact same room as it can't be any better any place else.I would highly recommend the resort as everything was wonderful, from the staff to the rooms to the food and the overall experience.
A guest from manhattan, kansas recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2011 Be aware that there are additional add on costs, extra towels $15 per day, room cleaning $30 per day, no free internet in room, but free in lobby,$12.95 parking fee per day. Cleaning fee, resort fee. Other than that, very nice property. conveniently located near the airport, next to the ocean. Awesome pools and water features. Very nice staff!
An incredibly relaxing stay! Can?t wait to return!
A guest from Salem, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2011 There were many amenities at the resort, the views were spectacular, food was great, and the entertainment added cultural richness and made it a fun ambiance. Staff was helpful, available, and friendly. We highly recommend this property.
