Our Vail experience
Crystal G. from Napa, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2017 We loved Vail, and the rental we stayed in was perfect. The location was very close to the Gondola, town, pool,We would love to come back. Same Time Next Year.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2017 We booked our "luxury Condo" with reasonable expectations given the cost. We know the location is great and the cost was reasonable for Vail. The staff were very nice and helpful and the location is great. Our "luxury Condo" was very dated and in poor condition, however. The bathrooms were small, old and had nasty caulk, etc. The furniture was very dated and uncomfortable and the unit is small and cluttered.
A guest from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2016 Great to be close to the Village and the creek.Would be helpful to remove some of the stuff.Seemed crowded and might make for a cleaner feel.
mike w. from austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2016 Nice place but it's all about location. Outdoor patio is steps from Gore Creek. Coffee in the morning and vino in the PM with the best view in the Village!
Heidi P. from Omaha, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2016 We have stayed in a lot of condos in Vail, and this by far was our favorite. It is right on the creek, across from Up the Creek. Loved that our side was "private" so there was very little foot traffic walking by our ground floor condo. The space was perfect for our family of 5. Rob at Gore Creek Properties was very helpful during move-in (we moved in during the Farmers Market on Sunday - yikes!) and whenever we needed something. The pool and hot tub are right next door, and were very well maintained. We will be back!
Jennifer B. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2016 The location of Village Center 1E was spectacular. Our family of four stayed for a week in June and the Gore Creek was raging and beautiful. We loved the sound of rushing water out the door. The Go Pro Games occurred while we were there and we were right in the middle of everything. This condo is steps away from everything in the Village. The pool/hot tub is literally 7 steps out the back door to the right, which my kids loved! We came and went through the back door, which was very convenient and easy. The two bedrooms are just fine (one king bed in one room and two beds in the second bedroom). There are also two full baths. The kitchen has everything you need. The fireplace lights easily. The furniture is somewhat dated, but that's about the only negative. We were met by a helpful guy from the rental agency who ran through specifics. I would absolutely recommend this condo for a visit.
Reviewed by: Carol L. recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2016 Spring break skiing for a family of 5 - this place was the prefect size - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small pull out couch. Great amenities including a pool and hot tub, great location - easy walk to the slopes (about 8 minutes), right in town - really don't even need a car once you are there. Great service from Gore Creek Properties!
Kristyn H. from Brooklyn, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2016 This property couldn't be better located. Easy to get everywhere, right by the pool/hot tub and easy access to a bus stop. We were comfortable, happy and very much enjoyed our stay.
A guest from Gates Mills, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2016 The condo is in a great location! It's so easy to unload luggage at the patio door. We also loved the hot tub and pool so close to the back door. The interior is a bit dated but the location makes up for that. The management team needed to send arriving instructions earlier. I received the email the day after I arrived. They did respond to questions when I called and gave me a cell number for emergency. Thank you!
A guest from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2015 Great location right in Vail Village, and close to everything. Shops, slopes, everything else. Pool and hot tub right out the door. Management company is local and accessible via phone (weekdays) The only complaint (not really a complaint) is to bring a cart to haul all your stuff from the road. If you park in the garage first, its up and down a couple set of stairs, as the unit is on the first floor.
Catherine G. from Mokena, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2015 Location was awesome!! We had a great stay at this property. Perfect size mom, dad and two adult children. Loved how close we were to the hot tub! Short walk to the gondola and all that Vail village has to offer. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Shower heads are low but nothing we couldn't deal with.We will be back!
Josh L. from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2015 fantastic location and wonderful stay. only consideration is that the elevator doesn't access the 1st floor so you have to walk up and down a flight of steps with luggage. i'd rent it again though and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
Gary I. from Bergdietikon, XX recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2015 We visit Vail since many years. So we know our way around there and know that the apartment is located at a top location. The appartment is very nice in general and has a good size. However it would need a little renewal touch, some lights don't work, almost no hot water in the kitchen. It needs way more possibilities to hang all your ski close (more hooks instead of decorations all over...), to put your skies somewhere and not in the little entry where you are out of room anyway.
A guest from Greenwich, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2015 Great time at Vail, as usual. Condo is in Vail Village walking distance to everything. Pool and Hot Tub are a few steps away. View of Gore Creek and Vail Village from room is great. One important point for some renters. The elevator in the building does NOT go to the first floor. It starts on Floor 2 and goes up. We carried our ski gear up from the parking structure and then down stairs to access the condo upon entry, but used the patio door to take our gear to the car, which we parked on the street, upon exit. Parking garage, and parking spot for this unit, are also tight for larger SUVs. Don't let these points scare you away from this unit. Its in a great location and was comfortable for our group of 2 adult couples.
A guest from Gates Mills, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2015 We loved our stay in Vail. The location was so ideal for everything. The condo was nice, close to the hot tub and pool. The kitchen was well equipped. The garage was included and the internet. I would say the only thing negative, were the couches in the main room, were a bit tired but not awful. I would rent this condo again.
Jim R. from Potomac, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 My almost 82 year old mother, my wife and I spent three nights. It completely met our needs including a fully stocked kitchen that enabled us to cook a couple great meals. Within a few minutes walk to almost any place in Vail village including shuttle buses. About 30 yards from the sliding back door off the dining area was a beautiful view of the rushing mountain stream with Vail village on the other side of the stream. Being on the first floor and 10 feet from the pool/hot tub just outside the sliding door also made this a perfect place. I highly recommend this unit. It exceeded our expectations.
Reviewed by: Emerson H. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Location beside Gore Creek was the best. Very convenient. All the amenities we wanted. Could have used a few more towels, but that was a very minor issue. Pretty much a perfect vacation experience!
Kelly B. from Knoxville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 We had a lovely time at our property and picked up our keys after hours and left them without seeing the management company. There is a challenge knowing where to park as it is secluded and on a street that says you cannot drive on it... so better or more cautious directions would have helped. Also upon leaving we left the parking pass in the envelope with our keys and were called several times in a panic from the person on duty she said she had not looked in the envelope herself but that the parking pass was missing which was not the case. So just check before calling the guest about things, and it would have left no impression at all, but calling in a panic was not a great way to end a lovely stay. The property was great convenient to the village and skiing and being on Gore Creek was lovely... thanks for a great stay, just a few hiccups with the management co.
Anne M. S. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 Ski trip with 2 teenagers. Great location. Very comfortable condo. Loved being by Gore Creek and on the ground floor. Only comment I would make as feedback would be the shower heads are very low. Water pressure is great but we are all tall and had to duck down to shampoo. Would not keep me from staying there again but would be great if that could be fixed.
Reviewed by: Richard M. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 Right in the middle of Vail Village, across the river from Up the Creek, Mountain Standard, and Lancelot restaurants! The deck is literally 20 ft. from the pool and hot tub. You can't ask for more. The staff we spoke with on the phone were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay again!
Christopher T. from Atlanta, GEORGIA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2014 Picked spot based on location. Everything was close by and did not need a car the whole weekend. Slopes, shopping and restaurants all within short walking distance. Had 3 adults.and there was plenty of room. Pool/hot tub and Gore a Creek right outside door. Even had sloop view, despite being on first floor. Would come back.
Mark E. from Brookfield, WI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 Great location but this property is dated and has few amenities. For the high season they are priced at a steep premium. Location needs to be your priority.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 The property is located right in the center of Vail Village and the pool is 5 steps from this condo. It is a lovely place - 2 bedrooms and 2 baths - full kitchen and nice patio. The property is also located right next to the creek. Couldn't ask for anything better!
Amy K. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2013 This condo is absolutely located in a prime area - on the creek and close to the pool. The only negatives - which are prettt major negatives - are brick hard pillows and beds making it very difficult to get a good nights rest. We left early for this reason alone. the owners should spend a few bucks on down pillows to make the stay more enjoyable.
Frank J. from Paway, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2013 Very nice condo, right next to the pool/spa and a short walk to the gondola. I had a fantastic time with my 3 kids (18, 15 & 13). But plan to get groceries delivered if you don't have a car.
A guest from Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 Perfect location (including covered parking), very comfortable, spacious, fully equipped and how Gore Properties organize a sprinkling of snow everyday beats me but keep it up.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 We never had to get into our car. Everything we wanted to do was a beautiful walk away. The creek was right outside our door and only added to the beauty of this condo. The only criticism we have is the shower head in the master bath is very low. No problem for me, as I'm 5'1", but for others it would be a challenge. We left in the evening, but if people needed to leave early it is good to know that there is a farmer's market right outside the garage and 100s of people in the way, so it might be best to move your car. I think you could get out, but it could be dangerous and would definitely take some time. However, we had a great, great, weekend and the management staff was available for the smallest question.
A guest from Newbury Park, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 The condo was clean, well maintained and in a terrific location. Vail is such a great place to visit. Terry from the property management company was friendly and so nice to work with. Thanks.
Deborah K. from Carmel, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 It's all about LOCATION! Although the condo is extremely nice, the best part is the ground level patio that looks directly on Gore Creek in Vail Village. We've stayed at a lot of nice places in Vail over the last 20 years, but this was THE BEST - walking right to the water, on private property. We loved every moment.
William D. from Bryn Mawr, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 This condo is in the perfect location in Vail Village, right on the stream and in the center of the action without being loud or too busy. The unit itself is small and dated. The bathrooms are lousy as toilets barely flush and showerheads are so low that you need to be a pigmy to take a shower. My 6'2" son was basically on his knees when he was trying to get shampoo out of his hair. The couches in the living room are terribly uncomfortable and bad for one's posture. However, somehow the location makes up for most of these shortfalls as the pool and jacuzzi are 10 feet from the door. The owner should do the right thing and spend a couple thousand dollars on this property (furniture and fixtures). Otherwise, we had a great time there.
Reviewed by: Steve L. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 The rental unit needed some work. The shower head was at the height for a person under 5 feet tall. The unit had alot of nick/nacks that limited the space to put things. The kitchen furnishings (pots and pans) need to be replaced. They are very old with the non stick gone and are of a lesser quality than I would send my kid away to college with. The tv and channels system was not user friendly. The maintenance man made it work as soon as we called. There are so many wires coming out of the back of the living room tv it looks like a possible fire hazard.
