Worked well for us
A guest from Broomfield, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2016 Stayed for 4 nights just before Christmas. 6 people, 2 dogs. The split level was nice (3 bedrooms upstairs - 2 w/ queens, 1 w/ 2 twins). Having an attached 1 car garage was great -- fit a Mazda 6, ski gear and some extras just fine. Snow removal was prompt and complete. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna and clubhouse w/ pool table and foosball was a great bonus, literally just outside the front door. 2 block walk (<5 min in ski boots) to bus stop to Copper Mountain. Bus stop to Breckenridge not walkable. Kitchen utensils, cookware and dinnerware was ample. Check-in/out site (in Silverthorne) is a bit inconvenient just to pick up/drop off keys -- a keyless keypad would be awesome. No bad surprises, many nice ones.
Phil H. from West Des Moines, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2016 We love Frisco and always try to rent a Cross Creek along Ten Mile so we can enjoy serenity and the comforting sounds of the rushing stream.
Richard J. from Iowa City, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in January, 2016 Cross Creek 308 is very cozy, comfortable, well appointedIs and equipped. It is conveniently located for catching the free shuttles for skiing, close to trails for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and just taking beautiful walks. We also loved the fact that we were able to build evening fires in the fantastic stone fireplace. And other convenience was the walk out garage. We experienced a lot of snow during our stay and the property management does a great job with the snow removal. This is our third time to stay at Cross Creek and will look forward to future visits.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Richard, Thank you for reviewing your stay. We appreciate your input and are so glad everyone enjoyed the trip!
A candid review from a long time renter of Wildernest Properties.
Lloyd S. from Oklahoma City, OK does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2015 The rental was very clean and has a wonderful location beside the running stream where you can hear the water rushing. That being said we will not stay here again for some reasons the owners could easily correct. The TV downstairs is relatively small and the cable box did not work. There is only one TV in the master upstairs which you can not enjoy because it is maybe an 18'screen (that may be a generous dimension). In addition, my 2 sons and I, all thought the beds were poor quality mattresses and box springs similar to a Microtel. I one person moved the bed shook like a bowl full of jelly. There was not an ounce of clothes detergent to be found so we could not wash our towels unless we purchased some. How expensive is it to place a small amount of detergent in a rental anyway? To owners of the condo - you have a very nice unit. If you would reinvest a small amount of income to upgrade the TVs, mattresses and box springs and get an outside grill on the porch (not the community one that no one wants to walk to, that is so away far to use when it is 10 degrees you will probably decide to pass, you would probably have this unit occupied at a much higher percentage than most of the other properties because it would be a really good unit. If you felt like really splurging - put up a garage door opener. I'm not being critical just honest and I think I am an average user. :-)
A guest from Parker, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2015 thoroughly enjoyed this unit. walk out to river is a plus, twin beds great for the kids, would like to have had tvs in all the bedrooms versus just one. very clean unit and animal friendly was a plus. would use again.
Dale F. from Evergreen, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 It was a good experience. We had some problems with the keys since some keys fit the bottom entry, some fit the top entry and some fit both. This was passed on to the property manager.
Dirk H. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2014 This is the second time we have stayed at this condo. The ground floor deck is 25 feet from Blue Creek and with the orientation of the building and the trees, it feels as though you are alone in the woods. We just love the place. It was a cool day when we arrived and the downstairs temperature was 58 degrees. Even with a fire in the fireplace, it took two hours for the baseboard heating to raise the temperature 3 degrees. The carpet in the seating area is new since last year. The carpet upstairs is somewhat worn, but overall we are very happy with the unit. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck or rocks and listening to the creek. Really enjoy Frisco and walking down Main Street. The downtown district starts 3 blocks away. Had great Cajun food at the Cajun restaurant and everyone was very friendly. This unit and Frisco are our #1 mountain destination now.
Dale F. from Evergreen, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 We have been coming to this location for over 15 years and the condos and community room fit our needs so well.
Jeanette B. from West Des Moines, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 We've stayed at Cross Creek many times over the last 20 years. Great location. Quiet, yet close to Main Street in Frisco. The creek running behind the condo is wonderful. The unit is starting to show its age - i.e. carpet is getting old, but overall still a great place.Only thing lacking for us was that the kitchen was not stocked even with the minimum of salt and pepper.
Nanette J. from Lakewood, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2014 Great location - end of main street and on the creek. Condo is roomy and we loved being able to bring our dog with us. But property is very out-dated. The carpet is ripped and stained in places and things are falling apart. Dishwasher didn't clean well, microwave didn't heat up well, etc. Also, it sounded like elephants were bowling in the condo above us - could hear them all the way on the first floor. Also, the "private hot tub" is in the main bathroom - not quite what we were expecting.
TJ D. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2014 This is a great location and a generally nice property. The only negative was the walls are thin and the upstairs neighbors were very loud.
Lara J. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 We love this condo! Great location. Kids love the clubhouse. Everything is easy. Need to replace a number of lightbulbs and tighten hinges on the cabinets, but otherwise it's all good. It's not fancy, but it's functional! Love being next to the little river and being able to walk along Main St. Check out Prost, the braut restaurant--very yummy!
A guest from Evergreen, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 Great experience. Always great for us to have 2 twin beds in third bedroom instead of bunk beds. Very nice unit!!
A guest from Wheat Ridge, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 Inside the condo unit is run down, showing its age and in need of maintenance. I have stayed in other units at this property and have been very pleased. I would recommend this property but not this unit.
Dirk H. from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 Stayed with family from Alabama and loved it. The sound of the creek running 20 feet from the deck was a delight. Great clubhouse and overall amenities.
A guest from Madison, WI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 31 days in August, 2012 Great location, but unit needs updating. Beds are hard, and the kitchen and baths are original from 1980's. Deocor is still cute but an overhaul is overdue.
Carpet very dirty & unit needs upgraded. Replace cabinet hinges.
Marvin P. from Gra Eagle, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 Cross Creek is a beautiful place, but 308 needs upgrading! We were put in a pet friendly unit which we didn't request!! We do thank you for the refund on Unit 303, when my Son & family had to cancel.
A guest from Omaha, NE does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We've been staying at Cross Creek on and off since 1987 and have usually enjoyed our stays. But this year was the exception. To be sure, we opted to stay in a pet friendly unit (the week before we checked in, our daughter decided not to bring her dog). Worse than the pet hair we had to contend with in #308 was the construction noise coming from a unit next to ours. Because of the noise (tile was being removed and replaced), we couldn't have our grandchildren (6, 4 and 2) take naps at our unit. (The unit-#210-that our daughter and her family stayed in was much nicer-leather furniture, flat screen TVs, new carpet, new kitchen, new tile etc.-but rents for the same rate.) Because #210 was better suited for her kids (no noise, closer to the pool and better sleeping arrangement for their 2-year old), we let our daughter and her family stay there. In addition, #308 had other issues: dirty carpet, the fan in main bathroom needs to be replaced, the dishes were chipped, the door under the kitchen sink wouldn't close and in general, the unit was substandard. We hope this year's experience was an anomaly.
Diane M. from Lincoln, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 We enjoyed our stay at Frisco and we were very happy with the condition and amenities we found at Cross Creek. The updates to the unit were very apparent! Thanks for the great service as well!
A guest from Lincoln, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 First of all, I found the staff at Wildernest in Silverthorne to be very welcoming and helpful. The condo was perfectly located and handled our family of 6 adults and 2 children perfectly. The location was great. We used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed both. Parking was adequate as well. We really appreciated having laundry facilities in the condo. We will definitely recommend this unit to friends.
A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2012 Wasn't sure what we would find given reviews of other condos in this dvlp, but this is a perfect place. The Wildernest folks were awesome-I rarely have much to say about prop mgmt but you could tell they have a good system down. Beautiful setting with the creek behind this unit. I thought the pictures of the grill etc were the common areas--didn't realize we would have our own little yard! Great layout with kitchen/living room downstairs, bedrooms up. Very sunny dining room. My 8 & 10 year olds loved the pool & foosball in the "conference center". Gave them the perfect amount of independence. Loved the fireplace & being able to bring the dog. We couldn't believe our luck. Beds were comfortable. Could have used better humidifiers, but that's minor. We skied Copper and Vail and highway access was amazing for how quiet it was. Loved the little market on the corner and in the future will use the Summit Stage--so close! Also never appreciated the Frisco Main St--its great. We are looking into returning for Spring Break. So excited we found this place!
Virginia J. from Lakewood, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Couldn't use fireplace because door would fall off. Kitchen sink backed up. Couldn't close blind in master bedroom. Animal hair on the floor and carpet made my allergies kick in.

A guest from Lincoln, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 with a very convenient location. You can walk to downtown Frisco to shop and eat. Lots to do in the area, we love the golf course at the Raven. Would highly suggest this rental!!
