A guest from Fort Collins, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2017 The condo met our needs in terms of comfort and size. We had 6 adults and 4 small children, so it was tight, but worked out fine. Kitchen is small but decently equipped. Overall state of the condo is a bit tired - furnishings and finishes are dated but comfortable. If they would just replace the carpet and put tile in the bathrooms (carpet? yuck!) it would make a world of difference. Clubhouse with pool and hot tub are great for kids. Overall we were happy with the stay and it is priced right.
A guest from Oak Lawn, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2016 My wife and I, along with 2 other couples, recently stayed at this property. We usually stay in this area when we visit the nearby ski areas. We loved the space, it was roomy for 6 people all with suitcases and snowboard gear. You could fit a few more easily, especially with the bunkbeds in the loft space. It does get dry but thankfully the owners have provided humidifiers. Only issue I had and it's not the fault of the owner, is the laundry facilities. We needed to do laundry and had to drive down to the nearest gas station to get quarters for the machines. Even then, the washer wasn't the greatest. If you have a long stay, plan accordingly for laundry usage. We didn't get to use the other clubhouse amenities but the pool and hot tub looked very nice.Aside from the property, dealing with Wildernest was great. Check-in took me less than 5 minutes and check-out less than a minute. I would highly recommend dealing with them if you need a smaller space or multiple spaces.
Callan M. from Tulsa, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2016 Overall a great place to spend our ski vacation. The rental hadn't been cleaned before our arrival but a quick call to the office serviced this need. Everything else was perfect for our vacation on the slopes.
Shannon H. from Elbert, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2016 We love Silverthorne & all of the properties that we have stayed in there. This year though the property management company was more uptight.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2016 Note to parents with young kids: This condo has a very tight spiral staircase. We had to closely monitor the children as they went up and down the stairs to make sure they didn't fall. If we knew about how tight the stair case was, we would've rented a different unit.Unit was clean and the cupboards were well stocked with pots and pans and silverware. Interior seemed dated: old furniture, carpet, etc.Location is great and overall it was a good stay.
Laurie M. from Grant, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 Snowscape 501 made for the perfect family get-away! Lots of rooms, great location, and furnished with all the conveniences of home! All for a fabulous rate! Comfortable beds! Great kitchen and entertaining space! And the kids loved taking over the loft! And the parents couldn't have been happier that the kids were happy in the loft! We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in the area!
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Laurie, thank you for the review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to serving you again!
JEFF A. from SHAWNEE, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2015 Not up to par like usual. No wood, no trash sacks or enough soaps and coffee maker not cleaned. But, very responsive to my request and this is why I continue to stay at Wildernest!
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Jeff, We apologize for any inconveniences lack of supplies may have caused you. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
Vince F. from Lees Summit, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 we had 6 condos for family the weekend of August 1st 2015. All the condos were in Snowscape and Buffalo Ridge the Ponds.
Bill D. from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2015 This is a beautiful area in the Colorado mountains. There is lots to do and wonderful scenery to enjoy. The Snowscape condos are not new but overall are in good shape with a great pool, hot tub, and recreation room.
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2015 We have been using Americana/Wildernest for years. We are always given the best options to accommodate our growing family. This year, the bed frame in the master bedroom was broken. The staff took care of the problem within 1 hour of notification. Great experience.
John C. from Naugatuck, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2015 The location is ideal for a ski/snowboard trip. The clubhouse does the trick for relaxing after a long day of riding. The unit itself is quite cozy. It's perfect for three couples or two small families, but beware, the kitchen is quite small and missing some essential cooking utensils. The stove top has no hood so cooking bacon in the morning or frying burgers in the evening smokes the place up. There cookware is quite limited with just a couple small pans and one baking sheet. They didn't even have a turner! The fireplace is great and the balcony offers some fantastic views. The bathrooms are decent enough. The living area is a bit small, but fit my group of five adults just fine. If you're planning to bring more than five grown men, somebody will have to sleep on the floor. There were a couple of broken stools and the place wasn't cleaned as well as I'd expect, but overall it was a good value.
A guest from Elmhurst, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 Unit was very nice. Having 2 bedrooms plus a loft that slept 4 plus a couch and separate TV, 3 full baths, a cozy living room that sat 7 comfortably, dinng table for 8, fireplace, games, well stocked kitchen....we had a very nice relaxing family time after skiing. We did not use any of the facilities so cannot make any comments of them. YES - would recommend this unit. People at Wildernest were very helpful and nice.
Jan J. from Bonita Springs, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 Great Space but in need of upgrades. Beds uncomfortable. One sink stopper broken. Upstairs shower slow draining .Several lights out
A guest from Salina, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2014 Just in time for the final week of skiing. Great accomodations, reasonable pricing for low season. Great deals at ski equipment rental.
Alan E. from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 The experience we had with Wildernest was excellent. The property had everything you could ever need & more. We definitely will go back & would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a weekend with friends & relatives.
Walter B. from Littleton, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 501 was a nice unit. Terrible bed in Master bedroom. Busted chair at table. Carpet was dirty. No Door strips in Fridge. 10PM closure of Pool area for folks on vacation is ridiculous. Check in should be at Noon and Check out at Noon. I have been going to Snowscape for 20 years, but will now change locations.
A guest from Fort Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 Leaving our busy lives behind and spending 5 days in beautiful Summit County was made perfect by the wonderful and relaxing time we had while enjoying our condo at Snowscape. The facility was just as promised, with lots of space and very comfortable. Thanks you for providing us with daily snowfall to make our ski trip full of Pow! Spectacular!
A guest from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 Layout was perfect for our families...three bedrooms, three baths. Kitchen was well-appointed and had all the necessities. Recommend replacing the refrigerator as it did not keep food very cold, nor did the ice maker work properly (one tray/24 hours!). Overall, the stay was excellent.
Bryan H. from Allen, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 Overall really liked the property - family enjoyed the large dining room table in particular.
