Right on the ocean shore, the grounds were maticulous, fabulous BBQ and picnic area and extremely quite.The unit was small but well furnished. We preferred to stay home and have dinner on the lanai and watch the sunset than to go out. We had the best view in town. We were there for one month.
A guest from Scappoose, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 11 days in July, 2016 Hot, very hot no air conditioner but the fans helped a little. There was garbage left on the counter, food in the refrigerator, clothes in the dryer and in the dressers, and a nice supply of condoms by the bed. The electric outlets are worn out and we had a hard time using them.

We rented multiple units with Knutsons in the past, and D4 met all of our needs. It was definitely clean, and had a fabulous view. Very quiet and peaceful listening to the ocean from our living room. The location was more than perfect. We will be telling our friends and family. Well priced too.

Reviewed by: Barbara T. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 We loved our stay. It was exactly as described to us over the phone. It was close to all restaurants and activities but also far enough away to be relaxing. The only sour note is that the condo itself had a foul cleaning smell to it when we arrived that went away when we opened up all of the windows and also there were a lot of dead cockroaches on the floor under the headboard of the sleeper couch. These two things were the only minor drawbacks. Other than that it was perfect for us!

Stayed for 6 days in May, 2015 Nice location, with surf crashing outside.Very nice pool with few people actually in it.Condo was fine, but could use some new shower, window and door fixtures, as well as some decent pillows. Clean but with dust in wicker furniture; glassware and cups needing better washing.

Stayed for 10 days in December, 2014 This condo overall is a fine but the cleaning service needs to be fired.We have rented this unit three times in the past year and each time it was very dirty.Upon check in the bathroom had not been cleaned with urine dripping from the toilet, toothpaste dried on the facet and the floor had hair and dirt every where. The microwave had dried for splattered all over the inside. Our last stay the cleaner had to re lean the unit it was so bad. This is not the owner fault. Shame on the rental agency. Will not rent this one again.

The crashing waves were a joy; so were the killer sunsets! A terrific experience. The grounds are impeccably maintained and people are friendly. Only one downside: the unit's hair dryer wa s missing, so I had to borrow, then buy one. The management company offered to reimburse me.

The carpet is stained to the point you don?t want to take off your shoes. The unit is marketed to sleep 4, but there aren?t enough beds! The mattress on the pull out sofa is disintegrated and disgusting. The property manager?s solution was a blow up mattress for the filthy floor. We didn?t travel all that way to Hawaii and pay good money to be offered a blowup mattress on a filthy floor! When we expressed our dissatisfaction with this solution we were told that he wouldn?t get a mattress for at least a week. After more protesting amazingly a mattress did show up. Since the sofa was broken the mattress didn?t provide any support. The light switches are stained by years of grime. Several outlets didn?t work so there were extension cords everywhere. In the living room an outlet is taped to the wall by blue painter?s tape! When the maintenance man came to fix it, his solution was to paint the blue painter?s tape white! The furniture is so dirty that it feels greasy. We had to put towels on the furniture just to sit down. The whicker bedroom furniture has years of dust and dirt in it. It is quite awful. The closets are packed with junk that there was not anyplace to hang clothes. The blinds in the bedroom have layers of dust clinging to them. The windows are held onto the wall by painter?s tape. The window ledge in the living room is decaying so the wood and paint flake onto the floor. The small patio is covered in carpet that has grass growing through it! Nick, the property manager, continued to put us off placing the blame on housekeeping and the owner. He wouldn?t return calls resulting in staying longer then we should have. Subjecting our family to the unsanitary conditions and dealing with an irresponsible property manager wasn?t the way to spend our time in Hawaii. BEWARE, if Nick tells you this has been addressed you should know he actually stated the unit was just fine?

Stayed for 4 days in October, 2011 Looks OK but after a while you see the Dry rot, doors that fall off, and good luck finding an outlet that works, bring an extension cord!!! And if you are planning to sleep on the pull out- do yourself a favor and sleep on the floor with the bugs. The matress is old and really thin so you get the pleasure of feeling every support bar. But view is great if you dont mind no AC!

Although I would like to thank you a for getting us to a condo that worked. I really appreciate how efficient you were. The condo we did stayed at in Kona Isle was very nice.

Although the microwave had to be replaced, the unit was in otherwise excellent, if getting a bit shabby in the carpet, etc. There was a problem with the blinds in the front room and bedroom...we were charged for having 3 people stay there and for the first 4 nights of our stay the front room blinds wold not close completely, leaving us exposed to people walking back and forth from the barbecue/picnic area. In addition, the bedroom needed beach bamboo mats hung to protect our privacy, making it difficult to have the fresh air from the breezes flow through the bedroom. During the second four nights of our stay the blind problems were fixed. I would appreciate some adjustment for paying for the additional person in the condo for the first four nights when the unit was not prepared for it.
