July 4th weekend stay

Stayed for 2 days in July, 2016 We had a blast - checked in after hours, but your directions were perfect,easy to get info from your office and find the condo, the condo was clean and convenient. 2 tiny quibbles - the drapes over the sliding door to the balcony did not work, something wrong with the tracks, and we could not figure out how to use the different TV remotes, some written directions would be helpful.

We were able to walk Main Street in just a few minutes and there's a great hiking trail close by that goes up the mountain. Could not believe how clean the place was - that's an A+++. It is a bit dark, but perhaps better light bulbs and more lamps would help. This owner takes great care of this place and the rental management company was great. Would rent again.

Garage parking is always handy when there is snow. Probably would be quite cramped if you tried to squeeze six people in there, but it was great for two people. My only minor complaint is that it would've been nice if there was a modern TV with HDMI inputs.

We made use of the humidifier, box fan, pots & pans, dishwasher, fridge, and oven. The gas fireplace was especially nice! The walk to the Quicksilver lift was doable in ski boots, but we limited it to one round trip per day.

The bathroom layout was excellent because the shower room was separate from the sink and toilet. Everything was fine. It was on the second floor and the bedding was tired and the kitchen was outdated.

Nothing fancy but a place to stay relatively close to the slopes and main street.The rental experience was kind of annoying though. I got in late and had to stop at the rental place first and get the keys then they force you to return the keys at the end of the stay. This was really inconvenient since I didn't have a car.

Would consider a different 1 bedroom unit for 2 people. Great management company, excellent location.

If i had one complaint, which it's not a big deal, but they only gave us 1 roll of toilet paper to we had to take a roll from a restaurant. But not a big deal, otherwise great experience!

It's a quick walk to the lift and an easy jaunt to the downtown area. We have stayed in the complex several times and would do so again in a heartbeat.

It's about 100 yards to the lift and/or ski rental shop right next to the lift, very convenient for skiing. The walk to town is a little long as this location is at the far end of the main town strip, so it's about 5 min of walking to get to the strip and then your at one end, so if what you want to do is at that end, it's not bad. If want you want to do is at the other end of the main downtown area it's a good 15-20 min walk. The condo itself is clean, functional, and comfortable. This a budget property (at the low end of the price range), so don't expect luxury or high end decor. However, if you want a clean comfortable to stay right near the Quicksilver lift with private garage parking for your car you should certainly consider this unit.Also, Summit Mountain Rentals was a pleasure to deal with and made everything easy.

Here are some details that I would improve: The after hours lock box was not easy to open(just have a simpler lock!). Garage door entrance key access is semi-broken (works after a lot of turning). The fan in the bathroom sounds like an airplane taking off. And please have a cork screw available. Thanks.
