Reviewed by: A guest does not recommend this property. Stayed for 28 days in December, 2016 View was the best I've seen, condo well equipped.Only thing wrong was there was no phone service. Lots of emergency numbers but no was to contact them. The Kitchen light burnt out, but couldn't get maintenance service with not phone. Don't know what we would have done if there was a real emergency.
A guest from Twain Harte, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in November, 2016 We had a wonderful time staying at the Sealodge property. We had a little trouble figuring out the flusher on the toilet, but everything else was great.
Louis S. from San Rafael, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2016 we had a wonderful time on our trip punctuated by a very comfortable place at Sealodge in Princeville. the one drawback would be the close proximity to neighbors(noise).
A guest from San Jose, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2016 Absolutely loved staying here at the Sealodge. I was a little skeptical with the pictures featured on VRBO, it seemed small and dated. Once arriving, I was very surprised on how clean and airy the unit was. It was perfect for 2 people (I am sure you could sleep 3 comfortably). The view was obviously the best feature (again, the pictures just don't do it justice) and the lanai was perfect for watching the sunrises and sunsets each day. The location is ideal, super easy to get around Princeville and close to everything we wanted to do (Queens Bath, St Regis, Hideaway Beach, and Turtle Cove) with just a short drive to Hanalei Bay. The beach associated with Sealodge was also gorgeous and the hike down to it is pretty easy. Just a few things that may need improvement within the condo, the toilet is hard to flush, we had to remove the top cover each time and the TV is a little small (I know, I know... don't come to Kauai to watch tv but since EVERYTHING within Princeville/Hanalei closes SUUUUPER early, sometimes its nice to catch up on some TV shows). However, all the good of the condo definitely outweighed any sort of negative. The washer and dryer was a major plus and the condo is equipped with everything you would need such as beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs etc etc. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay in this unit again and recommend it to friends and family who visit the island.
Joel H. from Johnson City, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2016 This was a perfect spot for our vacation in Kauai. Sealodge is a great location on the North Shore convenient to everything. As an added bonus, it has it's own "private" beach. A small trail leads to a small beach that has excellent snorkeling. Be careful on the trail and bring bug spray though. We woke to beautiful sunrises every morning. The furnishings in E8 were simple, comfortable and clean. A perfect spot for a great vacation.
A guest from Lacey, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in May, 2016 Lots of rain to start and finish our trip but lots of sun and sand the rest of the trip. Hiking the trails was tough on my old knees but well worth the struggle. Good workouts and amazing views, fauna and heat. Had a huge pig cross our path on a hike at the canyon. Shortly after we had hunting dogs then hunters following the dogs. Found that a bit strange that public safety is at risk of a stray bullet like that but the excitement of seeing the pig made the washed out hike a little more fun. Nice beaches to snorkel and play in the waves. Saw a lot of the island would like to go again to finish my exploring.
A guest from Grand Haven, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in January, 2016 This place was well worth the money! The view was awesome! Be sure to double check your rental agreement thou! We were charged extra for not booking all three places on one credit card. Otherwise all was good.
Robert C and Marie J V. from Ann Arbor, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in December, 2015 Wonderful stay in a peaceful atmosphere with stunning views of the coast on one side, and the mountains on the other!
Kimberly P. from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2015 My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary/babymoon and loved it. The most spectacular par was the view! Perfect for watching the sun rise while eating fresh Hawaiian mangos. The apartment is the perfect size for 2 people with all the comforts of home, including all the beach gear you could need (saves on the cost of renting it while you're there!) And staying in Princeville, we were conveniently near the resort hotel dining. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation, without a huge price tag. We would definitely stay there again!
Andrew K. from Lynnwood, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 We had a wonderful stay at this rental thanks to the folks at Ahh Aloha. We appreciate the special efforts by Nicole in setting us up for this stay. The rental unit was in a quiet location with plenty of parking. It was clean and all appliances were in functioning order. It was enjoyable to eat our breakfasts on the lanai and we were grateful for the beach equipment. Although the weather was hot and humid during our stay, we were able to obtain relief by opening the windows and turning on the ceiling fan. The only downside was that we could hear all the footsteps of our upstairs neighbor. However, it wasn't too much of a bother.
Susan R. from Kalamazoo, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in June, 2015 My daughter and I over every minute we spent at Sealodge. We felt very pampered. The views were unbelievable, the kitchen had everything you could need except no coffee. The location was perfect...quiet, close to everything and very clean.
A guest from Orange, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2015 Overall, the unit was decent. The view was gorgeous from both the lanai, bedroom, and the living room. Please invest in 2 more dining chairs as there were only two in the unit. Property was clean, but worn - the bathroom cabinets were grimy inside, and the bedspread smelled of body odor. The bed might be new-ish from what I have read in previous reviews, but management could have gotten a more comfortable mattress from Costco. Nightstands with storage space, instead of end tables, beside the bed would also help add some storage space for those staying a week or more (the dresser didn't provide much space). The snorkel gear, body boards, umbrella and 3 beach towels were helpful and appreciated (4 beach towels total would be my suggestion so that laundry does not have to be done daily). The washer/dryer are tiny, but useful. Unit above sounded like elephants tromping around...please tell the manager of that unit to post a sign about NOT STOMPING around up there. A repair guy showed up at the door, unannounced to us by the management, to repair the kitchen screen - please let future tenants know so they are not startled by some random dude showing up at the door and trying to punch in the code. Also, the water was turned off for a couple hours our 3rd day there with a less than 24 hour notice. I realize that sometimes these things cannot be avoided, but could impact someone's stay. Thankfully, we had plans out of the unit during that time.We love staying at Sealodge every time we come to Kauai and would more than likely rent this unit again.Thank you for the use of your home.
Delaine J. from Calgary, Alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in March, 2015 I recently stayed at Sealodge E7 for 2 weeks. The condo is exactly as pictured. Nice ocean view and very quiet resort and property. Bring your own condiments as there is nothing kept in the condo. Most small appliances, although an electric tea kettle would be nice and I would suggest that the mattress should be replaced. I thought the north shore was a perfect area - not so commercialized and crowded as the south shore. I will definitely come back!
Colleen C. from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2015 Brilliant views, a well-appointed kitchen, and a quiet property made for a perfect getaway for my husband and me. We trekked down to Sealodge beach almost every day (Wear study shoes and watch out for steep, slippery inclines--not for people with bad knees or ankles!) We were on Pacific Time for the whole week so we were up to see the dawn break over the Anini Reef every morning. My only comment on the apartment furniture is that the bed could use a new mattress--some of the springs have definitely sprung their last.
A guest from Golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2015 It was a very enjoyable vacation. We spent a several days seeing the sites on Kauai, eating good food and walking on the beaches.
John and Karen S. from Sacramento, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2015 We had a wonderful time in this cozy had all the amenities we needed, washer/dryer, equipped kitchen, fans in each room, and lots of beach equipment (masks, flippers, chairs). And incredible sunrises through the windows - yes!!!!
A guest from Central Toronto, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 22 days in December, 2014 LOVE THE LOCATION OF THIS CONDO AND TRY TO RETURN TO IT EVERY TIME I VISIT. ONLY DRAWBACK WERE THE MATTRESS PADS. THERE WERE THREE OF THEM AND THEY WERE SOILED BY BEDWETTING. HAD TO WASH ALL OF THEM BEFORE I COULD SLEEP ON THEM. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS PERFECT. THE VIEW, LOCATION AND AMENITIES. EVERYTHING NEEDED WAS PROVIDED.
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals We bought new mattress pads. I do not think the yellow/brown stains were bedwetting. The discoloration is common, the effect of the humidity and body oils. nonetheless it is not appealing to sleep on a mattress pad that is discolored! We've replaced would have been happy to bring you new ones, and are sorry we didn't buy new ones before your arrival.
Kenneth D. from Salem, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 The experience was awesome! Great view beautiful property and great accommodations. Housekeeping was great and very helpful with our early arrival. I can't wait to go back.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 We enjoyed our stayed at this condo for our honeymoon. The location is nice and quiet and the view is amazing! It is very close to a lot of the activity locations on the North Shore of Kauai and it was very peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking below. The kitchen was very simple but well stocked; the bed in the bedroom was comfortable; the washer and dryer worked well and the TV was small but we were so busy exploring the island that we didn't watch much of it. The bathroom is really small and the shower faucet could have used a better cleaning. The owners were nice enough to leave a lot of guidebooks to the island and you could tell that they cared about their guests stay.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in August, 2014 The condo had the best view in Kauai, and the ocean breezes were wonderful! We had coffee every morning on the lanai, and enjoyed taking it all in! It was great to have beach items, i.e. snorkel equipment, cooler and beach chairs, to help us enjoy our stay.
A guest from Evanston, Wyoming recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 The views are spectacular! Close proximity to snorkeling, dining & shopping, make this a great place to stay. Best for 2 people (we had teen son to make 3) because balcony seating for 2 and dining table has same. But, made do:) Comfortable, casual, clean, nice. Ahh Aloha was wonderful to work with, very responsive, organized and professional. We would book our next stay through Ahh Aloha for sure. We had a wonderful short getaway at Sealodge E7 in Kauai!
Debbie B. from Warrenton, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2014 We had a wonderful stay at Sea Lodge E7. Good location. Great view! Clean. Kitchen stocked well with dishes and cookware. We were able to pack light since the unit had a washer and dryer. Beach towels, boogie boards, cooler, and beach umbrella were provided. This was very helpful. The unit had a good breeze all the time. It was comfortable. We would recommend this unit to friends and family.
isabelle d. from mansonville, QC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2014 Very nice place even though furniture is a bit outdated. Excellent quality/price ratio. Amazing view. Calm environment. Very well located near all the most beautiful beaches of Kauai. Good bed. PS better pans or skillets would be appreciated
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals We took your suggestion to heart and have replaced the cookware with new non-stick :-)
Kevin M. from Monson, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2014 Location is picturesque the area is beautiful. Property is nice with incredible views. We experienced wi-fi internet connection challenges and the carpet is getting old but these were minor issues. Overall I would highly recommend the property.
Melani M. from College Place, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in April, 2014 Had a wonderful 12-day stay in Kauai at the Sealodge Condos. Quiet, comfortable stay. Particularly enjoyed the amenities, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and many outdoor items, like snorkels, fins and wake boards. Used the coolers and chairs to take to the beach and for picnics. Beautiful views from the condo and the grounds are well maintained. Thanks for letting us rent from you!
Leslie E. from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2014 Kauai is beautiful and makes for an almost effortless vacation. Sealodge E-7 was the perfect place to stay for a relaxed and easy vacation. The view, the sound of the ocean, the clean and comfortable grounds and unit all contributed to our enjoyment.
A guest from Issaquah, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 We really enjoyed the view of the sunsets and ocean from this condo. It seemed to have everything we needed except for some kitchen stuff like a nice sized cutting board, good knives, wine glasses, blender, peeler, etc. For people who cook every night these things are important. The bed was so hard we took turns on the trundle bed and the couch. A costco foam topper would go a long way. It was a noisy unit, I guess not much insulation and we even wore ear plugs but beside that all was good and an affordable option for the north shore.
Great place for the price and an unbelievable view!
Karl A. from Arlington Heights, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 My wife and I came for a postponed honeymoon. I am a teacher and we came from Dec. 26 to Jan 3. The condo came equipped with some items that we wish we had left at home so that we would have had more space in our luggage for souvenirs. If you come to this place leave the following things behind, as they are already provided for you:-Snorkel equipment-Beach/Bath Towels-"Extra" clothes--there is a washer/dryer in the condoCons of our stay:-We arrived in Lihue at 8am, knowing we would have all day to spare and would be jet-lagged. We came around 2pm to see if we could get in early, but the cleaning services weren't there yet. We went out to try and survive the day and got to our condo at check-in time (3pm) and the cleaning services still needed another hour. When we went at 4pm, the laundry still wasn't done, but we desperately needed to lay down so we told them that we would finish the laundry on our own. At the time that was a loooong hour. -The provided internet wouldn't connect to our mobile devices (that wasn't why we came, anyway)-The bamboo curtains welcomed the sun right through at 6:30 each morning, we probably only got one night of good sleep-The furniture was a bit musty/dusty, my allergies went nuts if we stayed around for too long-The pool was frigid... but we had the whole ocean at our doorstep.-Lots of speed bumps!Pros of our Stay:-The kitchen saved us big money, but don't go shopping until you have been in the condo! There's a lot of dry staples provided for you-The view from the Lanai is amazing-Sealodge Beach, grab that snorkel gear and go!-Close/free parking-This place is in Princeville! Princeville is in great proximity to a lot of awesome little beaches as well as Hanalei town. Hanalei has the most authentic "Hawaiian" feel that we experienced on the island.Stay here!
Randy M G. from Wenatchee, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 16 days in October, 2013 Great location, near the end of the road, quiet, private and a view to die for. It didn't matter if you were in the bedroom, nook or the living room, the view was the same---gorgeous! My favorite thing was laying in bed every morning looking across the water as the sun rose over Kilauea Point.
A guest from Ellicott Bay, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in September, 2013 Originally, I was concerned about whether I had chosen the correct location in Kauai, but I now know I definitely did! This location is very close to the Napoli Coast and all its beaches, but also has some awesome beaches and Queen's Bath even closer than those beaches! We loved our view and the rustle of the palm trees - we did NOT need air conditioning. The unit itself was compact but designed well and perfect for 2 adults. It would also have worked with a child. The property manager and maintenance crews were polite and worked with us when the rental unit's refrigerator stopped working. They offered us the opportunity to move to a different (Bigger) unit, but we chose to stay at the same unit mainly because we preferred the views. Bottom line: we would stay here again and we definitely appreciated Cathy and her property management's team professionalism and desire to work with us. Maholo!
A guest from Tacoma, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2013 When we arrived on the island we stopped on the way and purchased $275 worth of grocerys. Upon our arrival at 7:30 pm we found a non working refridgerator. AFter a phone call the next day and an email the following day, no one would respond to fix the problem. We lost about half of the food purchased and we had to eat out every night. Beautiful condo and location but disappointed in the property owner for having old non working appliances and no response to complaints.
Gary D. from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 21 days in July, 2013 We have stayed in the Sealodge Condominiums 7 or 8 times and have always rented through this property management company. Sealodge is a special place. The views are incredible and most of the units, particularly Unit E-7, have constant trade winds which means they are always comfortable and do not require any air conditioning. The property management company has been outstanding to work with. Several of our friends have stayed in Sealodge and have rented through this company based on our recommendations.
A guest from Kamehoe, HI recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 I rented this property for my mother for a couple of days on Kauai. She is very picky, but she could not say enough nice things about the place. She loved the setting and spectacular view, and the overall "feel" of the place. She is already planning her next stay here.
Emma C. from Philadelphia, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2013 Overall we were extremely happy with our experience and especially enjoyed the wonderful views from the bedroom and deck. While there are absolutely beautiful views of the sunrise, I would say sunset views are a bit of a stretch. The coffee grinder listed for the kitchen was not there and we had some trouble with the oven, though enjoyed the rest of the kitchen. The area fitness center was also not an option. The location is perfect and the room comfortably fits two.
A guest from Cedar Park, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2013 The condo had everything we needed during our stay and several extras. The closet had beach chairs, towels, coolers, mats, snorkel gear even sunscreen. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai. The breezes were wonderful. Lovely view of the lighthouse some 5 miles away. The grounds were very well kept, the furniture not new but comfortable. We thought it was an excellent location for exploring the north shore.
Diane B. from Denver, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2013 We loved the Sealodge unit E7! The view was fabulous! We were up at 5:30 every morning watching the sunrise from our lanai! Easy access to restaurants but adequate kitchen for cooking as well! We will be back!
A guest from Ormond, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 12 days in April, 2013 We were expecting to be able to walk to the beach.
Property Manager Response: Response from Ahh Aloha Kauai Vacation Rentals You can walk to the Sealodge Beach in about 10 minutes. The path starts next to building B and leads down to a secluded sandy cove. It's a fun walk through jungle and over a stream, but possibly too uneven or steep for seniors.
Bill G. from Burns Lake, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in March, 2013 The owner of this lovely home leaves many useful tips in the guest book. We arrived in Kauai late in the evening and had a bit of trouble finding SeaLodge but were delighted with the furnishings and amenities of the condo. Free phone and wifi were really appreciated. Lovely art on the walls and a wonderful view of the ocean and dawn sky from the lanai. Although we have never met them in person, we felt that we had formed a relationship with our hosts **** and Annette through the very informative entries in the guest book. We would love to stay here again.
Dea A. from Toronto, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 39 days in December, 2012 The location was great but the apartment is a bit dated and needs some upgrading. It was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities but it was tired. The management was great and very helpful. The view was spectacular. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks to everyone for making my vacation so memorable.
David G. from Salt Lake City, Utah recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 My wife and I had a very nice time at the SeaLodge condo. We were really appreciative of the snorkel and other gear that was made available for our use. Tremendous sea views and the cross breezes were very nice - no need for air conditioning (at least in November). The only slight inconvenience is the locking system of the unit which requires two hands for entry and exit which is a bit awkward when you are carrying things. Also it would be helpful to mention the Sea Lodge beach in the materials supplied - we only found it near the end of our stay.
A guest from Ramona, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 Very satisfied with our rental experience. If we come back to Kaui, we would seriously consider staying here again. Thanks.
Cathy S. from Sausalito, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2012 We had a wonderful stay. Our condo and the view were so enticing, we often found that we didn't want to leave!
A guest from Los Angeles, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in August, 2012 E7 was cozy and comfortable - like staying at a relative's place. There were beach towels, chairs, snorkeling masks and fins, coolers, even sunscreen and sunhats stocked in the closet, along with wireless internet, cable TV, CD/DVD players, washer/dryer, guidebooks, and basic kitchen gear, including a toaster, coffee maker and blender, in the unit. We had everything we needed! The view is the best thing about the unit, with views of Anini Beach and Kiluaea lighthouse - absolutely gorgeous!!! I was nervous about the lack of air conditioning in August, but the ocean breezes and ceiling fans were perfect - wouldn't have used AC anyway. Some negative things: The unit was very clean on arrival, but we did find one (dying) cockroach on the kitchen counter one morning. There was also a slight musty/wet smell in the unit, but both nusiances must come with the territory/climate. The pool is tiny and the BBQ is not gas. There is a unit above you so you likely will hear footsteps overhead (we did.) Sealodge Beach is difficult to get (hike) to, too shallow for real swimming/snorkeling and has too many mosquitoes. However, if you're willing to drive 10-15 minutes, you'll be thrilled by Hideaways, Secret Beach and of course Ke 'e and Tunnels a bit farther afield. Loved having Princeville Foodland and Lapperts ice cream a 5 minute drive away and all the restaurants of Hanalei Bay (try Bubbas, Baracuda, Tahiti Nui and Hanalei Coffee Roasters) just a little farther down the road.Bottom line - E7 was an unbeatable value! We would happily return.
A guest from Vienna, Vienna recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2012 We had a great time at the seelodge and we can absoluteley resommend this condo. Only the BBQ area was not so nice so we did not used it at all (if you want to yous it you have to bring EVERISTING - starting with coils - by yourself). If we get the chance to come bac to Kauai we will definneteley try to get this condo agin.
Jamie L. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 There was a problem with the arcadia screen door and though I called the onsite manager I did not receive a call back nor was it repaired.
A guest from Kalamazoo, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in June, 2012 The unit was quite adequate for the 2 of us, but could use some updating (for example, new sleeping pillows, ice machine). We very much appreciated having the beach chairs, towels, fins, and cooler available for use. Location was perfect, close to grocery store and everything we wanted to do.We received one bothersome phone call to the unit's telephone number regarding some "critical errors" they were monitoring on our computer (we're pretty sure it was a hacker, as the caller hung up after we did not provide the information they were requesting). After that incident we did not use the unit's "secure wireless" internet access but did use the unit's hard-line connection without further incident.
James A. from Phoenix, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 Great experience. Property has great location, well kept, and clean. Really appreciated stocking of unit with home wares and beach equipment. A/c would be nice but probably becomes too noisy for purpose of the resort property.
Diana M. from Port Angeles, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in January, 2012 We came in the dark and the Kamehameha road was hard to find. That's the negative. Other than that the rest of the time was a glimpse of Heaven. The condo was clean and neat and had the few needed items we would need to make our meals. I loved the simplicity of it. The view was awesome and we enjoyed the privacy of the unit. Mahalo
Jonathan G. from Menifee, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2011 An awesome experience to be with the woman I love in a tropical paradise! We would come and stay again without hesitation.
A guest from Ogden, UT does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2011 Arrived to find phone not working, coffee maker broken, wireless password and instructions missing. Bed and pillows need to be replaced.
JEROME S. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2011 The location was superb. The view was great looking out over the bay toward the lighthouse. Enjoyed waking up to the crowing roosters each morning. The area is very laid back. You would never think of it as a tourist area. Would recommend the accommodations to anyone looking for a place to get away.
Mary B. from Orleans, ONT recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 We woke up to the sound of the ocean and a beautiful sunrise every morning. Went to sleep to the sound of the calm ocean waves. The views were breathtaking and the condo had everything we needed and more.
Bill A. from Cupertino, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2011 Great place to listen to the surf all night, place was immaculate. Overlooking ocean, listened to surf all night. Only issue was that there was no wi-fi as listed. However, maintenance purchased and installed new router quickly. Impressed with maintenance response.
Karen D. from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2011 The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more! Even down to a beach chair, umbrella, and hats. The location and view were exceptional and close to accessible beaches. My daughter and I had a magical and wonderful time on Kauai and the accomations at Sealodge added to our enjoyment of this vacation. The price for this unit was very reasonable and a good value for the money. I would definitely rent this unit again.
A guest from greybull, wyoming recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2011 The place was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Used the beach chairs and towels. Loved the waves crashing along the shore. Great view. It was rainy most of our stay but we knew that may happen. It is a very nice area.
William C. from Loveland, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2011 Hearing about Princeville from friends and finding Sealodge condo rentals through internet searching proved to be great strokes of fortune for this, our first visit to Hawaii. The condo was perfectly located, very reasonably priced, and well maintained. We would not hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it to our friends.
clean and comfortable. quieter side of island. great view. only five minutes from Hanalei.
Debbie J. from Nanaimo, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2011 The exterior of Sealodge has a weather beaten look to it. Don't let that fool you. Very cozy and clean. View to die for.
A guest from Oronoco, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2011 Absolutely spectacular view every day!!! If you like a quiet place in a very beautiful community, this is it!! Some minor maintenance should have been done before we got there (smoke alarm had been removed and not replaced, carpet needed cleaning and spot removal, toilet would not shut off without some help, lanai outlet cover needed repair, lanai screen door was upside down). Called maintenance. Hope these minor items were fixed after our stay. However, we would recommend E7 for its wonderful location, outstanding views, very nice community, and quiet location at the end of the road. We would stay there again.
Julie W. from Auburn Hills, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2011 Aloha! My husband John and I were married at Tunnels Beach on January 11th, 2011. We found the Sealodge E7 to be not only cozy, and cost friendly, but the scenery was amazing! We loved the wooded condo, and the views from the balcony as well as from the from deck were superb! We already said we would come back to E7 next time. The owner keeps it very well stocked with items that we found helpful during our stay! We highly recommend this unit. Malaho! Julie & John
chris e. from Murray, Utah recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2010 This little rental cannot be beat. We were 100% satisfied with our entire experience with this unit and it's management. Entirely painless, they worked with us on some schedule changes and we will be back.
Linda D. from Grand Junction, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in September, 2010 This unit is a great location, excellant views, and picks up the trade winds nicely. The north side of the island is definately the place to stay. The grocery store in Princeville offers all the food you need and no need to spend money in the St Regis Restuarant-Sea Grill. The homeliest dinning room I have ever seen, the food was good but way to much money. All that being said, it was a great, realaxing vacation.
Andrew R. from Waterford, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2010 First of all, the view was spectacular and the beach was fantastic. The condo, however, detracted from the experience. The first problem we had was when we rented the condo on-line. The listed price was $125/ night but it rang up at $135/ night, not that big a deal, but it feels kind of deceiving. When we arrived the first night there were cockroaches on the kitchen counter. We called the maintenance manager who said he would put out traps the next day, but he didn't, so I had to go buy some myself. The snorkel equipment was cheap - the strap of one of the masks broke when I first put it on and one of the snorkels kept filling with water. The smoke detector would go off from the steam from the shower if the windows weren't open, which I'm sure the neighbors loved at 5 am. Finally, the entire condo was white - walls, cabinets, carpet, counter, which did not give it that warm island feel. With all the properties on the north shore, you can do better than this one.
A guest from Ellicott City, maryland recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2010 Magnificient ocean views from every room, very homey and we loved the daybed for reading, napping, and gazing at the ocean and palm trees. We will definitely return to Sealodge, E7 in the future.
A guest from Wausau, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2010 We loved the condo. We felt at home immediately. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and nicely set up. Our coffee maker broke and after reporting it to the manager it was quickly replaced. The view of Anini reef was phenomonal. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to others.
A guest from Hawi, HI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2010 Was a beautiful location with a view of the light house. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but the views made up for it. Was easy to find and a great location. I would stay here again.
Joni C. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2010 We stayed in Sealodge E7 last month; loved the location on a high bluff overlooking the sea. Every morning, we woke to the sunrise and every night, we went to sleep with the sound of wind and waves. Sealodge is located in Princeville, but in my opinion, is a much better location than most of the other condos/rental units. All our views were of the sea and coast line; the place was very quiet and relaxing; and the location was very convenient to see the sites on the North Shore. We loved staying there!
A guest from Fremont, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2010 Gorgeous view of ocean from 3 huge windows. Excellent floor plan of the condo. Will love to stay again at this condo.
