Our guests appreciate the convenience of staying across from the Whistler Market Place and Whistler Olympic Plaza. Here you will find liquor and grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and the start of the picturesque cobblestone village stroll. All of our homes at Glaciers Reach are a ten minute walk or a free shuttle ride to the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
Some of the recent upgrades to this two bedroom two bathroom townhome include paint, mattresses, duvets and leather pull out couch. Other features include a PS2, 24 inch TV / DVD, stereo, gas fire place, heated year round pool, shared sauna, AC, free underground parking and high speed internet with Wi-Fi. This vacation home sleeps a maximum of six guests but four is recommended. The bedding consists of a queen bed, two twins that can be joined to make a king upon request and a queen sofa bed. Located close to the market place and about a 10 minute walk from the main village and lifts it's close enough to enjoy all the atmosphere but also a relatively peaceful spot away from the crowds. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and clean, although could maybe do with a little updating. The hot tub was very welcome at the end of a day on the slopes and the pool was fun too.

On arrival to #33 Glaciers Reach we were met by friendly courteous staff who helped us find our suit and who welcomed us with open arms, made a few suggestions for near buy amenities and points of interest. Our suit was spacious, well kept and clean. The kitchen was stocked with various items, sugar, coffee, salt and pepper shaker, paper towel and garbage bags. The bathrooms where clean and organized plenty of towels. We particularly liked the in suit laundry which allowed for us to clean our clothes before going home. The only set back was all the beds where had extremely hard mattress which made sleeping uncomfortable and restless. We contacted the staff for assistance and they immediately came to our suit to assess the problem and they agreed that they where to hard to sleep on. They slid both twins together and placed a King mattress pillow top on the twins beds. it was still uncomfortable we just slept on top of the quilts. We all enjoyed Glacier Reach for it's location, easy access to Whistler Village, close to all our favorite spots with some comfort of home.

He is always professional, the check in/out process is very easy, and we will continue to rent from him. The location is great - quick access to the parking lots for skiing, and a short walk to the village. The dishwasher in our unit was not working, and he was incredibly responsive when we emailed him - the repair person was there within a few hours, and it was fixed the same day, all while we were out on the slopes. This unit has a hot tub which is on a fairly main walkway in the complex, so it's not the most private, but other than that, it was a fantastic stay!!!

Glacier reach is so close to the village there was no need to drive. Thank goodness because the parking garage was so tight for our truck once we finally got the truck settled in a spot we could not imagine trying to fit it again:( overall we had everything we needed. Would have like a unit on the upper floors as the privacy would have been better. The pool was great but by Thursday looked like it had not been cleaned for the week and unfortunately there were some guest that did not respect the area and garbage and cigarette butts were everywhere (even in the pool).

The space was compact, but efficient and had everything we needed. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect to accommodate multiple families. The location across the street from the marketplace and Whistler Village was super convenient to go to the Ironman expo and attend various triathlon events. The location is great for the Village with its supermarkets, bars, restaurants, etc. & a free shuttle bus to and from the gondolas (2 minute ride). No noise issues when we stayed. Enjoyed the hot tub!

I had to unscrew the outdoor light bulb to be able to make the bedroom dark enough to get to sleep. Otherwise, it was fine. The location is really good; close to Whistler village, coffee shops, grocery store, liquor store, and X-country ski trails.

This unit is right behind the market parking area, across the street. We enjoyed walking thru the village stroll to get to the mountains or dinner. It's a quick walk to the market if you needed a little something. The surrounding units were quiet and we never noticed any traffic from the road. The directions given from the property manager to access our unit and parking, were clear and precise. We will be back to Whistler for sure and will consider Glaciers Reach again.

Lint screen in dryer was broken, which damaged some clothing. Loved the private hot tub, but the unit was small and dark.

Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 In general we thought the condo was a great 'value'...had all the basics covered, was well stocked, was in a great location and a good price. We had a traumatic experience with the hottub filth that really tainted the experience. We soaked in it at night, in the dark the first time so we didnt see how dirty it was. Then we climbed in after a long day of skiing the next day and started looking around at the yellowish/green residue lining the sides and floating in the water..but the deal breaker was when my husband felt a 'chunk' on the bottom of the tub and pulled it up to find a conglomerate of hair and skin that had been stuck to the which point we all fled from the tub and took long hot showers. The chlorine was so strong the first night you couldnt take a full deep breath without coughing. Dumping a cup of bleach in the hottub does not count for cleaning the tub. The rest of the condo was clean.

Stayed for 4 days in August, 2011 we stayed for 4 nights in whistler - 2 adults and 2 kids. overall, the accommodations were excellent for our needs. Fully equipped kitchen, clean, nice sized bathrooms, private hot tub and access to a pool. It was located right across from the Market place so easy access to groceries etc. Two suggestions for an update - (i) replace the small metal venetial blinds in all the rooms. They were dusty and bent and let a lot of light in. There was a light right outside the front door on automatic timer and it beamed in on my son trying to sleep on the pullout couch the whole night. (ii) time to replace the duvet covers on the beds - they have seen better days. Otherwise, a perfect retreat and very well priced.

It is across the street from the Market Place, making it easy to get provisions, as well as enter the village. We walked to the, lifts, shopping, dinning and cross country ski/snow shoe trails. The accommodations were comfortable - and with the private hot tub - it was exactly what we were looking for.

The location of the apartment was superb; free shuttles to the village and minutes from the slopes. The only negative comment would be that the place was a little dusty in certain areas such as the couch, washer/dryer unit, and storage room. Otherwise, the place is nicely kept and comes with all the amenities one would need for short vacation or an extended stay. Additionally, the staff and owner, those who manage the property for rental, were very accomodating and friendly; I had to make several last minute changes and they were handled smoothly. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

Outside around the hot tub area there were a lot of cigarette butts and bottle caps. One of my friends, who was staying with me, even found glass in the hot tub, which one would say would be very dangerous. The beds were nice and comfy, but the towels were scratchy and old. While cleaning up and getting ready to depart I found a condom wrapper under the bed. Which I know for a fact didn?t belong to anyone of us 4 who were there. That was in fact a little disturbing and made us wonder how clean the place actually was. Overall the place was decent and could?ve been cleaner.
