Great place, great location
A guest from Red Lion, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2016 My wife and I stayed here recently on a trip to Seattle, Vancouver, and Whistler. 58 Glaciers Reach was excellent. Trevor was very responsive to questions before we arrived and the check in process was very easy. The keypad lock on the front door is a great idea. The parking under the unit was very helpful since we had rented a car. Just know that the spaces are very narrow. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We did little cooking there, but the kitchen was well equipped and the grocery was a short walk away. Whistler Village is all within walking distance but the complex is secluded enough that you are not disturbed by noise from the Village and parking lots.
Chad D. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2016 well this resort is much more then expected ,great place all the amenities to make your stay great, loved hot tub private deck ,I just booked another one weekend ,,, taking our kids this time and booked a two bedroom highly recommend !!!!!!!!
John G. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2016 We enjoyed our stay in Whistler very much. Our apartment was great, just like being at home. We had everything we needed to be comfortable.
A guest from Vancouver, British Columbia recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2016 Great townhouse, having a hot-tub was excellent after a day riding, location right next to the village but still quite was fantastic.Would highly recommend Glaciers Reach to anyone looking for a get-away in whistler.
A guest from West Kelowna, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2016 We stayed at this property during Crankworx 2016 and couldn't have asked for a better place to be. Location is ideal. So close to the village( a 2 min walk), but removed enough to be a quiet oasis. The property has everything we could have needed. We would definitely stay here again.
David H. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2015 Extremely well located for the buses to the ski runs and very close to the supermarket and village facilities. We had a great stay at Glacier's Reach. The apartment managed well with 4 adults for 6 days as it is on two levels and we all slept well. The main bed was very comfortable.Snow conditions were perfect and we had no issues with any of the equipment in the apartment. I would recommend this as to anyone who wants to enjoy Whistler.
Laura R. from Coquitlam, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 Great weekend away. Location was perfect. Easy 2 minute walk to the start of the Village (where the playground is, so it's perfect with kids). Condo was nice, a little older, but well maintained. Worked great having the 2nd floor for putting the baby down for a nap. I bumped into housekeeping on our way out and she informed us if they knew, they would have brought baby gates and other stuff for us. We made out ok, but great to know for the future.
A guest from Coventry, a recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 Excellent location with easy walk to all attractions. Property was well appointed and the provision of washing powder etc appreciated as we were living out of a suitcase for a month. Some minor maintenance is required and the property is not air conditioned only the bedroom is but this is being "picky".Overall a great place to stay, would do so again and have no problem recommending it to others.
Ken C. from Delta, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2015 Everything was exactly as it said it would be. The unit was clean and functional, overlooking trees along the back bike path. The hot tub was great, and the water had just been changed so wasn't hot enough the first night, but was ready first thing on the first morning, and was nice to know it was fresh, clean water. We do a lot of biking, so very convenient as it's right on the valley trail, walk across to IGA and liquor store...everything right there. Would definitely stay here again!
John B. from Wilmot,, NS recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2015 Overall, accommodation was good. The unit as clean and well laid out. The following would be a few things that might need attention; The hot tub cover was ripped. The bathroom sink stopper did not work properly. The night table lamps didn't seem to work well. The weather stripping for the main door needs to be replaced. The above are only minor items. We would certainly stay here again if the opportunity came up.
A guest from Ruishton, Taunton recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 Having never been to Whistler before, we booked this home on a website as it seemed what we needed. We weren't disapponted. Good location slightly away from the hustle and bustle, clean and well kept. We arrived in Whistler early and after contacting the owner there was no problem with checking in early. and we also managed to store our luggage securely on the day we left as our bus didnt leave until the afternoon. Any questions were answered promptly and we would not hesitate in staying again if we visit Whistler. we are not skiers but recommend snowshoeing and the bobsleigh run at the Olympic Centre. the Brewhouse was very good for beers and food.
Matt S. from Worksop, a recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay for of ski holiday. Comfortabl, clean and everything in close reach. We will certainly stay on our next visit
Kristin D. from Redcliffe, Queensland recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2015 My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Glaciers Reach. It was the perfect hideaway after big days out adventuring. Cosy fireplace, comfortable bed and private hot tub. Thank you Trever for an amazing stay.
Ghislain T. from Terrebonne, QC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 My wife and I spent a week in Whistler in this comfortable condo a walk from the village. Although the ambiant temperature was hard to control sometime to hot sometime to cold, this condo was well equip with everything you need to enjoy the beautifull Whistler.
A guest from Kamloops, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 Vacation was very good. Only thing we can say poorly was that there was a slight musty smell when we first got in but could have been the unit was closed up for a bit. Maintenance staff was courteous when we spoke to them. Check in time at 4 is a bit late though. All in all the trip was great and would stay there again.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 Other than the main floor being a little smaller than the picture, the place is very nice. The location is darn-near perfect for anything you want to do. We were there in late summer and had short-walking access to all of Whistler Village, the trail system and two of the golf courses. The unit, especially the kitchen, is very well equipped and the hot tub provided a fantastic way to end each of our days. The BEST feature of the unit is noise, as in there is none. It might be a little different in the winter when there are a few more people around, but for us it was incredibly quiet.
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Stayed here many times before, but this is the 1st time in quite a few years, and it was still as great as ever.Everything you could want in a place to stay and a hot tub on the upstairs deck as a bonus. Will be back.
Mark N. from Burlington, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 This home has everything you need for a relaxing time in Whistler. It's close to all the amenities and the village and having your own private hot tub makes everything right.
Neil C. from Coquitlam, a recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Rental suite was super nice. Extremely well stocked unit. Everything from towels to a cheese grater. Even laundry soap! There is a basket of activity brochures. Jacuzzi was amazing. Would love to come back in the future.
Very nice place in the center of life in whistlet!
Alberto P. from basiglio, a recommends this property. Stayed for 17 days in July, 2014 We went to whistler for 3 week in glacier and we always have a good time!hood zone and the house is very comfortable and nice! See you next year!
A guest from Sugar Land, a recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2014 Excellent location - waliking distance from any activities in Whistler village. Stocked up home with all the essentials. Would definitely recommend this to anyone vacationing in Whistler.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2014 We have written two other great reviews for this rental. Everyone here is always friendly and helpful. We finally got to meet Trevor, and he was very insightful and polite. I can see why everyone writes nice things about his promptness. He and Sara made sure we had baby gates for our young ones, plenty of toilet paper, and plenty of paper towels for our girls and us. We love this place, and we plan to come to the property every six months or so, as we can.
A guest from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2014 Glacier's Reach # 58 is extremely well maintained, quiet, close to everything, and has great rates. We would definitely stay there again.
A guest from Burnaby, B.C. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2014 This unit exceeded our expectations for a rental unit. The unit was very clean and the private hot tub was nice to have during the cool nights. The property manager was very accommodating and easy to deal with. We would definitely rent this unit again.
jolene t. from running springs, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2014 We all had a fantastic time in Whistler! Met up with some friends from home and met new friends here. The facility was great, we felt "at home". We had a wonderful opportunity to demo many skis at "Spicy Sports" with the help of our friend/owner, "Cuz" and his great staff!
Todd S. from Spring, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 Great rate with great location near the Village. Hot tub was great and is very private on the top floor! We would stay in this unit again without hesitation!
Property Manager Response: Response from AllSeason Vacation Rentals Everyone loves 58. 65 and 100 are very similar. The private hot tub off the bedroom on a secluded deck on the third floor is a definite bonus.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in February, 2014 This was our second time here. We loved it, as usual. Sara did a wonderful job of making sure that we were comfortable and supplied us with baby gates after noticing that we hadn't any in our place. We like the location, and we can tell Trevor does a great job of managing. Kudos to Sara for working so hard, too! Thank you for your great facility! We hope everyone appreciates all your hard work as much as we do!
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 This is an excellent choice for those needing 2 queen beds on a budget. Can't beat the price for this location. Everything within walking distance. Full kitchen, washer/dryer and hot tub are added bonuses.
Carlos L. from c, d recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2014 Clean! Big Room, Hot Jacuzzi! Complete Kitchen! Walking distance to the main mountain lifts! In front of the biggest supermarket of Whistler!Strongly recommended!
Sarah K. from Allen, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2014 The condo was absolutely perfect for our stay. The complex it is in was really easy to find and navigate. We were a little skeptical at first about the location and how long it would actually take to walk to the village, but we could not have been more pleased. The marketplace across the street took all of 2 minutes to walk to and we could be to the ski lifts in about 10 mins. The condo itself was perfect for our stay, and the private hot tub on the 3 floor balcony was AWESOME!!!
Jennifer N. from Clairmont, a recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2014 We chose to stay here just to try something new, and I'll guaranteed be back! Perfectly located beside the IGA and at the entrance to the village. It was super quiet, yet close enough to the pubs to be able to walk home after having drinks. There was lots of younger people and older families, but EVERYONE respected the quiet hours! It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in our condo as well, it allowed us to wash our hot tub towels and keep our ski clothes dry! Can't wait to come back next year, and we WILL be booking these condos again!!
A guest from North Vancouver, British Columbia recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 We have stayed in various suites in this development over the years and it never disappoints. This unit is nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. We had a very enjoyable weekend and will return (again).
Jason R. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2013 We stay at many vacation rentals and this was one of the best experiences we have had. This was by far one of the cleanest vacation rentals i have ever stayed at. within 5 minutes of waling in and inspecting the place i said to my husband...this place is spotless!! I was also so impressed with the little extras....laundry soap! wow that never happens, paper towel, extra towels and cloths, extra soap and cleaning detergents. Although some of the supplies may not have been high quality, i had absolutely everything i needed....whisk, a knife that actually cuts, scissors. We were also impressed with the book that outlined everything we would need and recommendations. Appreciated the late checkout as well. Would definitely come back and definitley recommend to a friend! Trevor you run a great business!!!!
Property Manager Response: Response from AllSeason Vacation Rentals Thank you :)
Brian B. from Burnaby, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 Great location, the only request I would consider in future is a main level and not have stairs to deal with for bikes on a summer visit.
Dana W. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2013 Condo as advertised. No hassles. Great location to village and trevor was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend staying here anytime of year.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 Excellent stay! Great management! Great location to village and roads! We loved how the hot tub was more private, off of the bedroom, and upstairs. Great view of mountain and lake from hot tub area and lower deck area!
Chris P. from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2013 My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a getaway to Whistler in August. We decided to forego the hotel experience in favour of a VRBO property, and selected 58 Glaciers Reach based upon our web searches and then Trevor's very prompt and professional responses to our inquiries. We were not disappointed. We were provided very complete instructions to find and access our townhouse and parking facilities, and granted permission for an early arrival. Everything was made very easy. Upon entering our townhouse through the private ground-floor entrance, we climbed a steep flight of stairs to the second level where we had a very comfortable living room and fully appointed kitchen. We were delighted to find that the deck off the living room was both spacious and private, and amazingly protected from some high winds that we experienced during our stay. From the second level landing, there was another staircase (not a property for someone with mobility issues) leading to the third floor bedroom and bathroom. Adjacent to the bedroom was another wonderful deck complete with hot tub. It was nearly perfect, and my only suggestion would be that a roll-down screen to provide privacy from the neighbour's upstairs deck would be a good idea. Truth is, the neighbours didn't use that deck anyway. Their hot tub was one floor lower. Glaciers Reach was extremely convenient to the Village and also had a small pool and public hot tub. We had a sense that #58 was one of the best units on in the property due to the arrangement of decks. Some units had their hot tubs on the ground floor alongside the main sidewalk, and those ones got no use at all. We loved our stay at #58 and would seek out that unit again for a return visit.
A guest from Sammamish, WA. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 We were disappointed with several things. The condo was very dark and somewhat dated. Just had the bare essentials. Not even coasters or place mats to protect furniture. The three flights up and down was a hassle and didn't disclose this ahead of time. The parking spots were very difficult to get in and out of. They advertise a mountain view, but not in the summer and you hear the tennis courts out your window and the people on their deck next door. Bed wasn't very comfortable. That being said, the location was convenient.
A guest from Fonthill, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2013 My boyfriend and I traveled to BC from Niagara Falls Ontario and stayed here from June 16-21. I was very skeptical booking as I have never booked anything online like this before but everything went perfectly! The place was gorgeous, spotless, well equipped and close to the village. I would not hesitate to go back and would definitely recommend AllSeason Vacation Rental to anyone considering a Whistler getaway.
Kathy J. from Wamuran, Queensland recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in June, 2013 Very enjoyable week. Unit was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, all supplied contents of the unit were in working order/easy to use. The location was perfect for us. We would certainly come again and reccommend it to our freinds/family.
Excellent service- Trevor is a pleasure to deal with!
Andrea S. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 I've been booking suites with Trevor since 2005! He always provides excellent service & responds to emails/phone calls promptly (himself!!) :) I love that he stays close to his operations.Highly recommended!
David M. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Excellent vacation skiing in whistler, this is my fourth time in whistler and 3rd staying in glaciers reach. I like it the that much that I recommended my friend to stay there earlier in the year, needless to say they love it too.Trev the manager is always so helpful, like most people in whistler, well worth travelling from Scotland. Hopefully be back next year :)
Shirley O. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Came here for a relaxing time. Trevor the owner as always is a pleasure to deal with, he made sure hot tub was clean and ready. Regarding why I only gave 4 stars for the " property general condition (amenities)", would like to have in the units, saran wrap, foil paper.
Neal P. from b, v recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 Well we're do I start!the apartment is perfect it has all the cooking facilities and entertainment facilities, wifi and a I pod dock. a nice big tv that has all the HD inputs for all your gadgets. The apartment is very modern and clean with a nice gas coal effect fire. with two floors both with balcony s, the top one has its own private hot tub about five steps away from your bed, great for sore legs after a hard day on the mountain. The location is great its about a fifteen minute walk threw the amazing streets of whistler and your at the foot of the hill. the market place is just around the corner for all your food and drink ect... I would recommend this place to any one and will be going back every year if my bank manager lets me!
eliza a. from vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 When we first got there, the place was way smaller than we thought it would be judging by the pictures. I'm guessing the pictures were taking at an angle that displays it bigger. It was clean and tidy, impressed with all of the extra things needed such as extra pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen ware, etc. Lastly, on our second last day of our stay, someone was banging on the floor door at 11am yelling at us saying that we should of been checked out at 10am. We were still sleeping so it was a clearly bad wake up call. Someone had to eventually go down and tell the girl that was screaming that we aren't checking out till tomorrow...
Great place, clean, quiet, cozy with everything you need!!
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 The place was great! Clean, cozy, everything we needed! The space was perfect for the two of us and having the private hot tub was such a nice bonus! The complex is great and so close to get to all the shops and stroll through the village! We were lucky enough to be staying during the first snowfall of the season! Such a beautiful place! We will definitely return and hope to stay at this place again if its available.
A guest from Delta, B.C. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2012 We have stayed in various units at Glacier's Reach over the years. The property is older now but kept up, and we find the location convenient for getting around the village and trails. The private hot tub is a great place to relax! New curtains and a new t.v. were nice improvements to this unit. We like the home-away-from-home feel here, and Trevor is great to deal with!
Stephen R. from Maple Ridge, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Perfect locationWonderful townhouseVery well maintainedPrivate patio was perfectOverall a very unforgettable experienceThank you!!!
Cindy F. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 I've stayed with Whistler Vacations twice now and have been extremely satisfied with the service and quality of rental both times!! Love that there is a private hottub, it is conveniently located right beside IGA and liquor store and a short walk to the village and restaurants! Trevor was extremely helpful and informative! Planning another Whistler trip in October and will book with them again :)
Stephen H. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2012 We had stayed in this unit several times. Only reasons not to select this unit are if you need more than one bedroom or stairs are an issue for you. Quiet unit, at the edge of the village, neat the market, walking distance to everything. Well maintained, clean and excellent response from the management company for any questions. Would select this unit again. If you have a large vehicle, the parking slots are tight.
Scott P. from Bellingham, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 The location is perfect for doing anything in Whistler. Easy access to upper and lower village. , and a great home base. Only minor maintenance issue was the upper screen door to the hottub was very hard to open and close but no biggie. Free concerts in the Olympic Plaza over the weekend are just a 5 minute walk away, for a fun evening activity.
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 We had a great experience staying here with our 2 year old daughter. Everything was just what we expected and we would come back.
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 Perfect place to get away, relax and still be close to the Village Stroll. Private hot tub is quite secluded, except for the next door neighbor (no hot tub on their balcony though so we never saw anyone out there). Suite is clean and well-maintained (could use a few updates like a more modern tv- we brought cables to connect with a laptop for movies but the tv was too old - and a new iron). Rental company is professional, communicates promptly and can accommodate special requests like late check-out... overall a great stay and we will definitely be returning!
Julie N. from Coquitlam, B.C. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2012 Being our 5th time there, it was awesome as usual. Very clean, comfortable, private and so close to the village. If you're looking for a great getaway, this is it in Whistler. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! :-)
Roxana R. from Cleveland, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2012 We spent one week im Whistler BC in a business/ vacation trip. The location of this condo is great, the area is quiet but it's minutes from the center of village. Just across the street there is a noce supermarket, starbucks and other stores. Apartment# 58 is spotless with all you need for a week vacation, laundry machines, dishwasher and a hot tub. Parking is included too. We could not have asked for more. Booking and checking out was super-easy.
Excellent stay in glaciers reach!! Recommend whistler vacations!
David M. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in March, 2012 After a disastrous booking to stay at glaciers reach through "enjoy whistler" the previous year when they told us at the last minute that the apartment we booked was double booked. That they would give us something similar, which when we arrived was just a room with a bed, toilet and a kettle(self catering!!)Anyway this time I contacted Trev at whistler vacations and told him about my previous stay at glaciers reach.....Trev re-assured me and Whistler vacations was a joy to deal with! The apartment was the exact one I had asked for with the private hot tub!We were staying for 12 nights and had a wonderful time, with our stay in glaciers reach being faultless!! Whilst out there I tried to call Trev over an minor query and he replied to me within minutes! Very helpful, lovely apartment and great value for money! I will defo stay there again, hopefully next year and can recommend booking through whistler vacations!!!! Be cautious of enjoy whistler who also book out apartments in glaciers reach!
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2012 This was our first trip to Whistler and it definitely will not be our last! The condo is in the perfect location. Its an easy walk to the slopes and there are plenty of restaurants and bars along the way. It was so nice having our own personal hot tub with a view of the mountains as the backdrop.
Frank W. from Burnaby, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 We found our stay very enjoyable - the location especially met our needs with 2 young kids, as it was close to restaurants and groceries. The hot tub and pool arrangement were also good. The property manager Trevor was very responsive and friendly. Because the bedroom was separated by one floor from the living room where the kids slept, it was very quiet and private. The bedroom could have used a TV though!
Burak T. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2012 The place was better than what we imagined from the photos. We would recomend to anyone. Hottub after skiing is wonderful :)
A guest from Maple Ridge, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at Glaciers reach in Whistler. The property was very clean and it has a cozy feel. The only thing that I wish about this property that could be differant is that it wasn't so hard to lug all your luggage into the townhome from where the parking was. Other than that the overall location of it was great. It was right across the road from village square and the hot tub was amazing after a long day of snowboarding.
Colin B. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in January, 2012 Nice condo and great location for supermarket etc with only 10 min walk to main Gondolas. Clean, tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay, thanks Trevor
Townhouse with private hot tub very clean & well maintained
Lori O. from Langley, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2011 It was our first stay at Glaciers Reach Townhouse. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. The hot tub on the balcony was a huge bonus and the location on the backside of the complex was away from the road. It was really easy to take the shuttle to the gondolas however you could walk about 10 minutes. The grocery store was just a couple minute walk, very handy. The bedroom and bathroom were on the top floor and the kitchen and mainroom were in the middle, a flight of stairs greets you when you open the front door and there is another flight of stairs between the main room and the bedroom/bathroom. There were two large balconies the upper one outside the bedroom had the hot tub on it. There was a nice view from the hot tub. We liked it. We would probably go for a two bedroom if we were to stay again. The main room/kitchen was cozy for a family with two kids but it worked, it was very clean and the hot tub/quiet was great!
A guest from Bonney Lake, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 My Husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here for our anniverserary. We loved that it was so close (walking distance) from the village. The accomidations were wonderful, and helpful to plan out each day/night during our trip.
A guest from Maple Ridge, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 We both enjoyed our stay very much our suite was fairly private and liked that the hot tub was on the top floor. Would stay at this property again.
A guest from Townsville, Queensland recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 Great location, property clean and well equipped, only downside found the bed to small and mattress to hard
Ian M. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 After a bit of a slow start getting the reservation confirmed and some concerns alleviated (mixed reviews on other units in the same complex), the unit was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, functional, perfectly located (walked to everything). The hot tub was amazing, on a very private top floor balcony largely shaded by trees facing the park to the rear of the building (other units face the court yard or on lower floors, put you on display for the neighbors). The place was spotless, a bit dated but extremely well maintained, lots of great amenities (DVD player, iPod doc). Chlorine level in the hot tub was a bit harsh, came back from a day on the mountain looking forward to soaking away our aches but all of our scrapes burned like acid, couldn?t use it the second night. Lots of younger guests, plenty of activity but no problem with noise. Overall, our new favourite place to stay in Whistler, would take the perks and mod-cons over the posh of the Fairmont CW for a romantic weekend getaway.
Nick L. from v, b does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 Problems with cleanliness, broken glass around hot tub, dusty light fittings and glass on balconies not cleaned. Jacuzzi bath not useable TV reception not good Beware BBQ-dont expect one-check-an extra 30$ if you do need one
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Hi NickI think that your evaluation of this home is overly critical for the following reasons. We have had a string of emails about these things with the following results; your main issue was that the home does not have a BBQ and this is true but in no place does it say that it came with a BBQ? As you know we do have a BBQ that we make available for our guests for a $30 fee to cover the time required to deliver and clean it. The Jacuzzi bath tub was and is operational but was missing one jet, thank you for bringing this to my attention, a new one has been ordered. I did find a single piece of glass on the deck behind the hot tub. As far as cleaning goes it is difficult to comment as I was not in your home at the time of your arrival but I do known that I have two fantastic in house cleaners and that have an amazing track record as is evident from the hundreds of positive guest reviews. I hope that any potential guest reading these reviews takes the time to look at the many other positive reviews of this home. SincerelyTrevor Chelswick (owner and manager of AllSeason Vacation Rentals)
Jeff M. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 I have stayed a few times and it is always a delight to stay at Glaciers Reach. The location and facilities are top notch. Thanks again for a great holiday!
Mark and Pam S. from Abbotsford, B.C. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2011 Besides the fact that I forgot my brand new capris hanging behind the bathroom door, we had a fabulous, relaxing, connecting time in the condo! We would come back again. We really appreciated the decent rate and the inclusive parking!
THOMAS G. from Richmond, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2011 Was a nice place for being 10 years old. Was showing some signs of aging, but maintenance was being done to rectify. Decent amenities and withinn walking distance to anything in the Village.
Tasha L. from Whistler, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2011 I had a great stay. The unit is convenient; walking distance to all your shops and restaurants. The private hot tub was amazing and relaxing, and the unit was very clean. I enjoyed every moment. Thank you!
A guest from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 Second time staying here. Last time was 4 years ago and I was as pleased this time as I was then. Only two things that stick out as far as improvment. Hot tub smells like it has a ton of clorene (but thats better than the alternative), no frying pan in #58. I also wish I remembered to bring DVDs as there was a DVD player there. There was also an awesoem Ipod stereo docking station that was cool. Thanks for a great stay!"I'll be back"
Robert A. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2011 I stayed here with my girlfriend and I have to say its a great deal, excellent location, great underground parking, very nice place and clean. My only comment would be that the blinds on the windows are the old metal style and in need of replacement but that is an extremely minor point. All in all when I come back to Whistler, I'm definitely staying here again.
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 Nice size 2 level property great private hot tub on top level balcony. Well equipped kitchen and clean throughout. Perfect.
Tracey C. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 We absolutely loved it!! I have to say I had the best birthday ever! We definitely have to go back again sometime soon! The privacy in the back with the trees was just what we wanted. I looked down at the trail we faced and said "Look at the size of that dog...wait a minute, that's a bear!!" THAT was a moment! The room was very well equipped, nice and clean and the perfect location for going into town. I was VERY impressed with the guide book on the table that Trevor made up. We tried the Wild Wood Bistro for breaky and Carumba for dinner that he recommended and they were both fantastic! Good job Trevor!! The whole trip was just perfect for us! I did forget to take my fridge magnet :( but we really did enjoy our stay. Thank you so much!!
A guest from v, b does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2010 One set of stairs to the living area and another to the bathroom/bedroom - was a pain. Inside clean, sparse. No view. Outside looked messy from people leaving things out in their little courtyards.
Nathan N. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2010 The room was perfect, hot tub made the weekend very relaxing. Perfect get away for those who want a little downtime, recommended to anyone who visits Whistler!
Jordanne N. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2010 Good place to stay clean, had everything you need, my hubby said a flat screen would of been nice and the toaster should of had a bagel setting....other than that pretty good. We did call the manager a few times to get a BBQ but never ended up getting one which was dissapointing as we would of used it alot. Its very close to grocery store, drug store, liquor stores and the village of whislter just a short 10-15 min walk. I would stay there again and reccomend it to friends! Also reasonalbe!Jordi and Scott
John D. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 This was our second stay at Glaciers reach . The first 2 BR was good but we enjoyed this 1 BR unit 58 far more. The kitchen was not as well stocked as our last unit 49 but was certainly adequate. That being said the unit was clean and very well maintained. We had a great time, location could not be better. Service has been great both times and Trevor is great to deal with.
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2010 We were disappointed that the unit did not have a we phoned trevor, and he had a bar-b-q there within 15 mins. Details of how to get there and what to do once we arrived we very detailed and useful. We really enjoyed our anniversary get away, and would definately do it again. Thanks
Allan V. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2010 We had a great stay at Glaciers Reach, it's walking distance from Whistler Village and after spending the day crusing around whistler it was nice to just sit back in the hot tub and relax before a good nights sleep. The manager was fantastic and the book he has made up for the condo was packed full of interesting things to see and do, made life easy.
Gary S. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2010 Located just a few steps away from the extended village stroll, there was nothing not to like about this suite. The amenities were all taken care of and the private hot tub on the upper deck was perfect. Totally recommended for those who want something beyond a simple hotel room and ideal for our purposes as a romantic getaway.
Brandy B. from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2010 We chose this place beacause of the private hot tub, but we could not use after 10pm, which was a drawback. Overall the space was clean but in desperate need of a makeover - musty smell and peeling paint in bathroom. A bargain stay but not for romantic or luxury travel.
Patricia L. from Stanwood, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2010 The unit was very nice, neat and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you need, there was even laundry soap for the washing machine. The hot tub was large and clean. Glacier Reach is in a great location to walk to the grocery store, village and Lost Lake Park and trails.
I had a small issue with the disposal in the sink, but with a quick email to Trevor, a repairman was there w/in 20 minutes and t
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2010 Trevor and his staff couldn't have been more helpful in answering the myriad of questions I had. As other reviewers have noted, there isn't much space when you come in the front door, but that's a design issue that can't be changed. If you're looking for a location that has no street noise, this is the place. Will definitely book another stay here.
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2010 Excellent service, location, very modern and clean. We loved the private hot tub on the second floor, with the mountain view. Thank you Trevor.
Ian C. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2010 Everything about the condo was great. The condition, the amenities, the location. I liked the location a lot, 15 minute walk from the gondola, 5 minute walk from the market square, away from the noise in the village. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.
Karl G. from Olympia, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2010 Great location, helpful-friendly staff, clean, good layout, nice having private hot tub. Property will need general repairs and upgrading soon, including hot tub. We loved our time there and highly recommend it. We will be back to Glacier Reach!!
Alex C. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2009 We loved our place and if i had to say anything bad about it I would say the hot tub had too much clorine, lol. Everything else was perfect and the owner/operator and his staff were all great. Would stay there again !
Andi D. from Denver, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2009 This unit is probably one of the most secluded in the complex. It was in great condition and Trevor was very helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk to the lifts or you can catch the shuttle. We preferred to walk, mostly cuz we couldn't wait. The hot tub was fabulous!
A guest from Abbotsford, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2009 The unit is in dire need of some tlc. Multiple light bulbs burnt out. Paint flaking off walls and ceiling.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations I am not clear what Terry (this guest) is refering to. In the past year this home has had extensive upgrades including; new paint throughout, new carpets, new bed and douvet, new carpets, all of the tables have been resurfaced, a new leather couch and new hot tub cover.
When I asked the guest what specifically could be done Terry mentioned that the ceiling had a water mark. I painted the water mark the next day.
A guest from v, b does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2009 Although clean with almost everything (no kettle, roasting pan) you need, the main living space is cramped. Has that 'run down' look (water damage in bathroom) and patchy paint job. Also does not have 'free' internet access as advertized and limited cable TV. Was difficult to keep temperature at a reasonable level. Hot tub is older model with weak jets but was private and hot. Didn't feel very secure, no deadbolt to secure entry (safety chain was broken). Glad I didn't pay full rate. Would not go back.
A guest from Whistler, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2009 We have stayed at Glaciers Reach a few times now, in different units, and like it for all of the above reasons including price. One thing that seemed to be showing wear this time was the seating surface of the hot tub. Didn't spoil our time; just thought I'd mention it.
William R. from Houghton-le-spring, Tyne and Wear recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in September, 2009 on the map it may appear glaciers reach is quite a way from the village centre this is not the case , its a short pleasant walk through the market place and onto the village stroll with its many shops and ameneties , glaciers reach was a great value alternative to some of the more expensive places and i wouldnt hesitate to book again .
A guest from Richmond, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2009 There was a bit of a musty smell we noticed in the unit and also noticed water stains on the ceiling on the lower level.
A guest from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2009 I was happy to stay at Glaciers Reach instead of a hotel due to the fact it was much more spacious for the money paid. There were 3 levels. Bottom is the entrance, middle is the main level with the living room and full kitchen, and the top floor was the bathroom, bedroom, and hot tub. The suite had a nice sized kitchen with clean appliances. The bedroom had AC which was necessary in this BC Heat Wave we've had recently. The fact there was no one required to talk to made the whole experience feel unique. You get to your room, enter in the key code provided, and you are in. The only negative I had was that the window to the bathroom faces a neighbor's deck. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will recommend Glaciers Reach to others.
Brian H. from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2009 Great place to stay just outside of the village. A/C was nice cause it was darn hot while we were there. Private hot tub was awesome and the condo was in great shape. Easy booking and a great time, will definitely recommend to friends. Cheers!
Robert A. from Sechelt, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2009 I will never stay anywhere but Glacier's Reach when I am in Whistler! 2 minute walk to the village, super clean and quiet. Everything you need when you are away from home is in the condo!
Joanna R. from Kenora, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2009 The only thing I would have to comment on is that there was a leftover beer can on the balcony with the hot tub and cigarette butts. Considering we are not smokers this stood out to us. Other than that the place was beautiful and roomy. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of riding. I would definately go again
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2009 We enjoyed our time in Whistler - what a beautiful place! We stayed in suite 58 for 2 nights with our 10 month old baby. The place was ok - it was clean with a well equipped kitchen and a cozy feel. The not so good stuff was the sofa bed was too uncomfortable to get any seemed very well used (the bed was comfy though). The hot tub on our balcony had a similar feel (old and well used) which made us more excited about using the pool and hot tub in the courtyard (which was lovely). It also seemed to have a stale smell...maybe the people staying there before us smoked??? I would recommend this place to a young group that is coming to Whistler to enjoy the mountains and the night life because it is so close to everything in Whistler. If the sofa bed and hot tub cover were replaced I think it would make a significant difference in the overall quality of this rental suite and if those changes were made I would likely come back with my family.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Hi Chelsea
I just wanted to let you know that I replaced the pull out couch with a new leather couch, the hot tub cove was also replaced a few days ago. The home is going to be painted later this week.
