Reviewed by: Douglas T. recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in December, 2016 Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay in the condo. We feel it was well equipped for our needs. The view was beautiful and several times we saw whales in the waters. The waters were a little rocky however, this location provides easy access to several beautiful beaches within just a few miles. (Big Beach quickly became our favorite). The only downside was our neighbors the last three nights of our stay. They apparently were not aware of the signs stating the building was Non-smoking. Cigarettes all day and cigarettes/cigars at night. This made it impossible to enjoy the balcony/view and sound of the surf. Otherwise our stay was great. Location close to activities and great restaurants. Pool was clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this location to our friends and family.Mahalo for a great stay!!
A guest from Oregon City, Oregon does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in December, 2016 We enjoyed our stay in this Kihei condo. The building, grounds and unit were not quite as pristine as pictured. Exterior paint and public areas need upgrading (tired paint, chipped and worn walkways, trash not cleaned up daily). Interior of unit could use a deep cleaning (carpet needs cleaning/stretching), armchair looked grimy, trim paint and baseboards chipped and dusty). But unit was furnished nicely and the view was great! Note: limited spa hours and lukewarm spa water, pool was COLD. Building management didn't seem caring or responsive. Unit managers were were very pleasant and helpful. Would not stay again as we like being closer to the water.
Charles R. from Vancouver, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 17 days in November, 2016 The condo was spacious and had a few beach amenities. However, there was significant rot in the baseboards, the old carpet was rippled and stained. There weren't enough utensils, the beds needed replacing badly as did all of the linens. The front door key code changed early, and then changed again early after being changed.
A guest from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 16 days in March, 2016 We really loved the 360 degree gorgeous view from our rental. The condo and landscaping were well maintained but the condo does need some updating especially in the bathrooms. We found all necessary utensils in the kitchen and plenty of towels for our stay. We loved the tropical experience including listening to the many birds around the location. We did like the convenience of the location but we would have preferred to have an area to walk in the evening. There are few sidewalks on the street and the street is not well lit in the evening.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2016 We had a great rental condo in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. The condo was in a great location -- close to the beaches but also a little removed from the higher trafficked tourist towns.

A guest from Sedro Woolley, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in January, 2016 The greeting by the lobby staff was polite and helpful. The property needs a fresh coat of paint and perhaps a new carpet. Also every sliding door needs maintenance...like oiling the runners and fixing the locks. The TV did not work but with terrific help from Natasha we managed to get it working ....incidentally it would be good to have a TV guide sheet with operating instructions. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and plates etc,.There is a terrific view from each room.A fan in the living room would be helpful. It was quiet at night. You are given a numbered parking stall which is a good idea.We would stat here again.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2015 We spent a week. It was like staying at our own home -- nicely arranged, most everything we needed, a few worn spots. Overall, very comfortable.Management company fixed the one issue we had (wifi went out in area, they brought in a hot spot). My one -- small -- complaint is that, having paid a lot 6 months in advance, I heard close to nothing from them until I arrived. This was a bit worrrisome...
Reviewed by: Xavier and Camille P. recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2015 Very nice apartment, clean, well furnished and closed to Kihei downtown with shops and restaurants. The view is awesome, face to the ocean and the crater. Perfect place for 2 to 4 people. Possibility to cook and free parking.
Tadashi H. from Mishima, Shizuoka recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in April, 2015 What a wonderful view there is! Nature make our soul refresh from the busy working. You can feel amaging experience.
A guest from Québec, QC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2015 The view from the condo was breathtakingly beautiful with fairly spacious rooms. The major turn off was the dirty toilet bowls which we had to clean upon arrival, the filthy carpeting which should be changed, the dust and dirt behind the headboards in the bedrooms, and a teapot with a layer of 1 inch mold, a slice of ginger still left in the kettle from the former occupants...made it difficult to be comfortable. At 265$/night we should have had much cleaner premises.
Property Manager Response: Response from Maui Rental Group This guest did not have any complaints during their stay. Guest satisfaction is paramount to us at Maui Rental Group. A thorough condo cleaning and maintenance check is done prior to each guest arrival. If anything is not satisfactory to a guest, we want to know immediately so we can make it right. Without any knowledge of their unhappiness until after checkout, we could not address this in the caring way that is our standard of excellence.
Patricia W. from Henderson, NV recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 We stayed here for our 1st visit to Maui this July, in the Plumeria bldg. The condo was exactly as described. It is one of 12 in this building that fully face the ocean. It should be noted that every unit on this property faces towards the ocean, but most are at an angle. We traveled w/ our 2 daughters, ages 17 & 18. They stayed in the front bedroom which has an adjoining bathroom w/tub/shower & separate sink area. My husband & I took the master bedroom which also had an adjoining bathroom w/shower & separate sink area. The master bedroom has a private balcony on the corner of the unit with a view of not only the ocean, but also the volcano, Haleakala. The kitchen, dining, & living areas were also spacious. We entertained family who was in another unit & sat 8 of us comfortably in the living room. There is a larger balcony off the living room with a spectacular view of the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one needs to whip up a meal. The dishwasher was also a welcome relief! There were 2 TVs; 1 in the master & 1 in the living room. There were plenty of towels & extra sheets, pillows, etc. There were even beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. available. The property also has a pool & hot tub, plus a kiddie pool. It's a quiet area with plenty of room & beautiful surroundings. There are several bbqs next to the pool area. We were not impressed with the property's sauna & decided to skip it. A laundry room is located on about every other floor. The beach is a short stroll through the back grounds of the property. While it's a bit rockier than other beaches, it is a swimmable area. There isn't a whole lot of sitting room, but it makes for a lovely stroll at sunset. Overall, this was an incredibly rewarding experience! We would highly recommend this property and this particular unit. Each unit is different, so be sure to read as much as you can before you decide on 1. You'll also want to rent a car so you can explore the town & the rest of the island.
A guest from Chico, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 12 days in May, 2014 We enjoyed our stay, can't beat the view & grounds were lovely. Front office staff very nice. King bed mattress needs turning (or replacing); guest bathroom tub does not drain properly, wall has water damage; couch and chair in living room uncomfortable and creepy fabric; doors on sliders on lanai and in bedrooms come off track and need attention. Could use a bottle opener and we had to buy a metal spatula for use on the barbecue. No blender, but it was great to have a coffee grinder and several coffee makers.
A guest from St. Albert, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 16 days in January, 2014 Fry pans in very poor condition. No tea kettle. No hooks for wet bathing suits. Towel bars located over the toilet paper & over the light switch--- very dangerous-- electicity & water do not MIX. Only one bedside table-- therefore one missing reading light.
A guest from Valdez, AK recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in December, 2013 The Unit is well maintained, is very comfortable, has plenty of amenities, and we love staying there. You can't beat the view, and it's centrally located, within walking distance to Azeka Mall. We have stayed in this unit several times, for it suits us admirably. Much consideration has gone in to its amenities: wi-fi connection, AC,upgraded window shades, sufficient kitchen and dining ware, large screen tv, ample beach supplies...we even discovered a sun hat for Grandma!
Kathy K. from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2013 The pictures are accurate and over all the unit was very comfortable. I would suggest a good mattress topper for the queen size bed - it is extremely hard! Amenities in kitchen were great, place is very clean and we'll maintained. Location is great, beach access or right beyond the palms and very little surf & undertow. I can't wait to come back again!!
Reviewed by: Jon M. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2013 Overall it was a nice place-great location, grounds were very well kept, interior was fairly clean-corners in the bathroom were kind of grubby. My big complaint would be the linens-bed sheets were ill fitting and pulled up every time we rolled over. The bath towels were very cheap and we had to pick thorns out of them! The patio furniture in the unit was filthy-had to be wiped down before we could even use it. Overall it felt like a good value for the money. All the residents seemed very pleasant as well. The view was incredible!!
Reviewed by: Sherin L. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 Our condo was exactly what we saw in the was clean, well maintained and a well stocked kitchen to do our own cooking, which we did daily. The grocery stores were about 5 mins drive from the condo. Sitting on the balcony every morning with breakfast and evenings with wine and looking at the beautiful view was lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, to our host Kim for making our stay so pleasent and helping us with all of our questions before booking.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in April, 2013 Thrilled with the location and view from our 5th floor rental as well as the 2 minute walk down to the ocean. The unit itself was nice enough, could use a good scrub, ie... dirty walls in the bathrooms and cobwebs on the light fixtures, and a fresh coat of paint. On our first night we discovered the smaller bedroom had used linens on the bed and no back up linen to change out as well as no bath mat for the shower. House keeping came late the next morning to rectify the situation and asked if we enjoyed our complimentary wine upon which we shared no such item was found in our room thou he himself had placed it there. the first day the blinds in that room also came loose and maintenance was called. It took 2 days and 2 trys to have them fixed with somewhat poor communication from the rental group. We also found upon arrival posted signs on our left neighbor and our upstairs left neighbor to be fully under construction. Had we been informed of this information prior we may have opted to change rooms or locations as appose to living thru 2 weeks of construction noise that we were in fact avoiding at our own home during this time. Seems our neighbors to the right and above us had 4 adults each and a baby in one most of the time, be warned the walls are thin and if quiet is something you crave on your vacation I will say we enjoyed very little in this location.
Karen J. from West St. Paul, Manitoba recommends this property. Stayed for 27 days in March, 2013 We absolutely loved the location, quietness and view from this rental property. Every morning we awoke to watch humpback whales in the ocean and it was an easy walk to the local coffee shop and strip malls. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet in the condo complex...almost impossible not to get a good night's rest. Our only complaint would be the carpet and living room furniture were dated anfd there should be umbrellas around the pool area for shade. Otherwise no complaints! We would definitely book this same condo again!
A guest from Port Ludlow, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2013 The condo lived up to the pictures on line. Both bedrooms had wonderful water views, the master bedroom had a private balcony with sun from two directions. Very nice furnishings.
A guest from Richland, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2013 Kauhale Makaiis an older but very well maintained complex. This unit is upgraded and also well maintained. Enjoyed our short time (only a week) in this unit and will probably stay in it again if available.
A guest from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Large comfortable space with great view but the carpets and blinds were in poor shape (blinds gave no shade) and the sofa is old. Pots and knives need replacing. However beach chairs, towels etc were appreciated.
Terry K. from N. Ridgeville, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 Everything was wonderful. Walked into the unit with Hawaiin music playing. Very clean, everything and more supplied. Had a problem when it rained(which I guess is unusual in Kihei)but called maintence, and they immediately took care of problem. Would definetely stay here again. Travel desk also very helpful with restaurant suggestions & booking trips.
A guest from Valdez, AK recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in December, 2012 Stellar condo; beautifully equipped, grand ocean view from both bedrooms and living room, and family oriented. Yards from beach and short jaunt to shopping. Great place to stay in Kihei. Will return again!
A guest from Fountain Valley, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 Everything was perfect: price, location, cleanliness. One minor thing was that there were two windows that needed cleaning. Since we were on the 5th floor, you could see that they needed to be professionally cleaned. It seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in a year and you couldn't really see the view clearly. But there were other windows that were clean.
Chris T. from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in March, 2012 Great location in building and very chill. Some minor things need updating, but I would stay there again. Thanks!
Fred D. from Sechelt, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 16 days in November, 2011 Lovely area to sit and enjoy with lounge chairs, HOWEVER, hot tub only working from 4.00 pm to 10:00 pm and luke warm. Massage jets do work well, so it should be called a warm massage tub.You had to chase the polar bears out of the swimming pool before use. At least you could enjoy it by yourself! Needs a solar pre heater in a big way. I will ask more questions before renting again. Unit was clean, well equipped, and totally perfect in all other regards. Had a good holiday inspite of no early AM hot tub and coffee.
Marie M. from Shawnigan Lake, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in October, 2011 I would give the unit 5 stars, except for the following the toilets both need to be changed, they are un-usually noisy. The 2nd bathroom tub is very well worn & could use updating. The first dinner plate I took from cupboard was covered in what appeared to be Olive Oil & I immediately washed all plates, cutlery & glasses. The vacuum needs to be replaced, it actually puts out more dirt then picks up. I was not happy that the free internet was un-secured-make a code & give it your guests. The unit should come with more kitchen cloths- there is only 1 dish rag & two towels, I dont want to always be doing laundry on vacation. Overall a very good stay.
Property Manager Response: Response from Maui Rental Group Thank you Marie. We will certainly take steps to correct as needed. Please never hesitate to bring items to our attention while you are stayingin the unit in order for us to make you more comfortable.
Michaela S. from Zellingen, recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2011 everything fine so far, we really enjoyed our stay, only the cleanliness did not quite meet our (European ...) expectations (dirty dishes, plenty of hair on the shower wall from one of the former guests, etc)
Overall the location and property was great. The home was clean and bug free which was wonderful. The property and grounds could

A guest from San Diego, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 We really enjoyed our stay. We had a fabulous view of the ocean and our condo was in a great, centralized location! We had a two year old with us so it was very convenient being able to cook our own meals when we wanted to. We would definitely recommend this place to others and are likely to return again.
