This villa was absolutely spectacular! The home was sunny, beautifully decorated, clean, welcoming and made our vacation just perfect. Judy, the manager of Cayman Villas was so helpful during our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessity's for cooking meals. It truly had all the comforts of home. The pool and outdoor area were paradise, that we were able to enjoy for the entire week! It was our first trip to Grand Cayman, and we enjoyed our time there very much!

Property Manager Response:
We agree! Kailypso is extremely popular for a reason! It was intended as a true family home and we are so glad yours enjoyed it too! We will pass on the comments about Judy and look forward to welcoming you back to Grand Cayman on your next visit!

House was really nice. Pool and beach were great. Pool deck a little slippery. The pool is 3ft-6ft deep, but the 3ft portion is not very wide. If you have small children(3yrs and 1.5yrs) they are pretty much limited to playing on the steps unless they have a lifejacket(we brought one, needed two). Our older two (7yrs and 5yrs)were fine as they have had plenty of swimming lessons. There were some beach toys provided which was nice. The coffee pot was slooow. We had a great week on Grand Cayman! We did everything there was to do for families; the weather was really beautiful(windy, but it was nice with it being in the 80's). It was a very expensive vacation though(groceries were double priced as compared to Usa- just an FYI).

It is a friendly, accommodating house.

It is perfect for 2 couples. It would be crowded with more adults.

The pool and pool area were very nice, as was the small beach.
There are a number of drawbacks to this house: (1)the lack of closet space, and (2) no closet in master bedroom, (3) the lack of lighting in the master bedroom - one of the wall lights could only be turned off by pulling the plug, (4) poor-quality cookware, (5) only 5 wine glasses, (6) pillows need to be replaced, and (7) the refrigerator's ice maker continually froze up.

We would probably rent it again.

If you want to relax and enjoy the quiet, Cayman Kai is still the place to go.

We traveled with another couple to celebrate my husbands 50th b-day... so happy he turned 50 because we had a awesome vacation. The villa was perfect. We loved the location. It had everything we needed and we really couldn't of asked for anything better. It was very private but yet close enough to Rum Point that you could walk. We spent most of the days at the villa and only ventured out a few times. We hated leaving but plan to visit again and would definetly stay at Kailypso.

Once again it was a pleasure dealing with your staff at Cayman Villas. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Judy, the manager of Kailypso, is very sweet. Kailypso is a beautiful house, roomy, decorated well, and very clean. The pool was great, we spent much time floating, talking and having fun as a family. The views are spectacular. We will definitely return. See you next year!

After staying a number of years on SMB we decided this year to try another location. Wow, was it wonderful!
The quiet and privacy are not to forget! My daughter and I took long walks around the beach most days stopping in at Rum Point on the way back (well for a refreshment so to speak)!
We were 5, daughter & husband and my 8&12 yr. old grandaughters. Plenty of room for all!
The only thing I am sorry about...if I give this a grand review...I will have to book it very early for next time!

We wanted somewhere for a girl's weekend staycation in Cayman Kai. Kailypso was the perfect choice. The location was perfect and the dock allowed one of our girls to be dropped off by boat. The house had everything that we could have wanted and the pool area with its comfy loungers and beach with the hammock made for wonderful snooze opportunities. Sadly we were only there for a weekend but before we left we were already planning to come back.

We rented the house sight unseen, but knowing we wanted to be on the Northeast end of the island. This was like staying at a 5 star hotel...even the towels were gorgeous! No detail was left unattended, including fresh flowers on our arrival. The pool was heaven, and the private beach and dock were sumptuous and indulgent. Felt like we were on a private island! The proximity to a great restaurant and pier was fabulous. I can't wait to come back!!!

A lovely 3 bedroom house! Everything was actually even nicer than we thought it was going to be. The photos don't do it justice.

It would be nice if there was a paddleboard or kayak available but other than that it was great.

Beds were very comfortable. We actually prefered the size of the house to some of the crazy huge places next door. And we had the nice pool.

This was our second trip to Cayman - both times we have stayed in the Rum Point/Cayman Kai area. Both times we stayed in properties managed by Cayman Villas - they are tops! Kailypso was amazing. The private beach area out the back was ideal for our two children ages 5 and 7. There was great snorkling right off the beach. Rum Point is a walkable distance - although we drove most of the time for convience. Close to Starfish Point and the Kaibu (a restaurant are that also has a beach). The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. The pool was great and the guestbook at the condo revealed that many people came back a second time! A good indication of just how special Kailypso is.

We loved Kailypso, for it's quiet location, private beach, pool with lots of inflatable toys. n The house was perfect for us, luxurious, clean, was well stocked with basic household goods, crisp linens and was decorated like a home rather than a rental.
