PGA® Tour Event Information

Why vacation rentals are the perfect place to stay when at a PGA Tournament.

For anyone who loves golf, there's nothing quite like taking in a PGA Tour event and seeing your favorite golfers play live, up close and in person. When a PGA Tour event hits town, the action lasts all week. There are practice rounds to be played, charity events, 19th hole parties at the event club, and lots of off-site dinners and excursions. If you plan your trip right, you might just be able to rub elbows with one of your favorite golfers in addition to watching 4 days of great golf.

Vacation rentals are a great lodging option for anyone attending a PGA Tour event. If your travel group is small, you can get a one or two bedroom condo or house and enjoy privacy after a long day of links action and save money when compared to a hotel or resort. If you're traveling with a larger group, you'll save even more and have all the space you need. Plus, it will be fun recounting the days play with your travel buddies. You'll make memories and form bonds you'll never forget and always treasure.

PGA Tour events are almost always held in warm weather locations, which mean there'll be an abundance of vacation rentals to choose from. You'll also have your pick of amenities -- private pools, hot tubs, game rooms, plenty of easy parking and you can get as close to the action as you like. You'll likely be amongst locals who have inside tips on how to get the most out the city you’re visiting.

If four days – or more – of golf is just too much for you, keep in mind that the areas PGA events are held in have plenty of other activities that are non-golf related. Whether you spend time on the beach, fishing, hiking or just exploring, you’ll have plenty to see and do. It’s also another great reason to stay in a vacation rental – you’ll likely have better access to a variety of other activities versus staying at a resort or hotel.

Like any other major event, you'll want to start your planning early. PGA Tour events are popular, with tickets selling out much in advance. The same goes for vacation rentals. As you plan your trip, be sure to check out Plan with Friends on Perfect Places. It's an easy way for you to find vacation rentals from across the web and share them with the people you'll travel with. You can also share itineraries, activities, restaurants and more.

So pick your event from the list below, find a vacation rental or two and save them to Plan with Friends, and get ready to have the time of your life on a beautiful golf course in some beautiful spot.
