Fethiye is the nearest town, only five minutes drive away, or ten minutes by bus. Fethiye is a bustling harbour town with a local market every Tuesday, many shops and restaurants. The famous Oludeniz beach and blue lagoon are definately worth a visit and only a short bus ride away. Catch the bus from the main road. Pass through Ovacik and Hisaronu on the way. Also visit Kayakoy, the Ghost village, where ruins of old houses stand eerily on the hill. Also within easy reach is Calis. Calis has a long beach, promenade, shops, restaurants, bars and a weekly market every Sunday. There is so much to do in the area from boat trips to the mud baths at Dalyan, jeep safari, Ephesus/Pamukkale and many more.
