This is particularly useful if arriving on a night flight. CAR HIRE, TRANSFERS AND INFORMATION PACK:
We work closely with a local car hire company on the Bodrum Peninsula who have always been extremely reliable and offer some of the best rental rates in the area. Please ask us for details. If you don't want to hire a car to collect from the airport, we can arrange a transfer at a price of approx £35 each way. Please email with flight times and party size for further details. To get the most out of your holiday, we recommend car hire however if you decide not to hire a car, the local dolmus service runs past the villa and taxis are plentiful. Once your final balance payment is made you will receive a comprehensive travel pack with information including directions from the airport, collection of villa keys etc and it will hopefully answer any other questions you may have to ensure that your holiday gets off to a great start. Plus an extensive guest manual is also provided at the villa. THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO VISIT:
There is so much to do whilst on holiday in this area. History lovers should take a visit to St Peter’s Castle, Bodrum to view the underwater archaeology museum or arrange a trip to Ephesus, the largest & best preserved ancient city in Turkey. A visit to Pammukale means that you can combine the hot thermal springs of this white, calcium terraced mountain with the adjacent ancient site of Hierpolis. Another day out is a trip to the mud baths & stunning beaches at Dalyan combined with seeing the Lycian rock tombs & the remains of Caunos, dating back to 400 century B.C. Daily boat trips to Kos, Greece means that you can experience 2 countries during one holiday. Closer to home, make time to experience the different towns and villages on the Peninsula. Turgetreis is the 2nd largest town & hosts a huge market each Saturday. Chill-out on the beach in the laid back bays of Bitez or Ortakent or visit Golturkbuku – known as the St Tropez of the Bodrum Peninsula. Please get in touch if you would like any further details about activities and things to do in the area. GUEST BOOK COMMENTS:
Tracey Price and family, August 2007. 'I just wanted to say that we had a WONDERFUL time! Your villa is fantastic and you really have thought of everything! There was nothing that I could even pick a tiny fault with as everything was really excellent, location, the villa and facilities, the transfers, the people, the food etc etc etc, all were great. Thank you again Nicola, your complete service is really wonderful and you should be very proud of what you promise as you really do deliver! Adrian Webb and family, August 2007. 'Thanks Nicola for a great quality villa and for arranging car hire. Please pass on our thanks to Martyn and Gale (your cleaners) and also to Ekram and his team (at Valley Car Hire) who were brilliant. They actually showed us to the villa in the middle of the night which was a great help! Mark O'Neill, July 2007. 'Thank-you very very much. We had a fab time, the villa is a real credit to you - it's superb!'
