Les Deserts our beautifully restored detached cottage is situated over looking the neighboring pine forest, it offers a haven of peace and tranquility, whilst still being close to all of Normandy's attractions, an ideal base for a family or romantic holiday. It offers all round panoramic views with a large south facing garden which has a plunge pool and sunny terrace with gazebo, table and chairs and BBQ, and plenty of outdoor lights for dining alfresco, a lovely area to entertain or maybe just sit and relax and spot the local wildlife, Deer, red squirrel and the many species of birds and if you are lucky enough wild boar. Inside the cottage the living area is very comfortable and benefits from exposed oak beams, granite fire place with a large wood burner for cooler nights, large comfy sofas and Satellite TV and DVD (large selection of films & surround sound). The open plan kitchen is fully equipped to make your stay more comfortable with dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob & oven etc. The master bedrooms have double beds and the third is a twin with TV & Video (large selection of videos) all are pleasantly furnished. The D-day beaches and Granville, the Mont St Michel and Bayeaux, and the pretty town of Villedieu De Poules (famous for it's manufacture of copper pans) which are all within easy reach of Les Deserts The pretty little town of vire which is our largest local town has plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from and the market held every Friday is also worth visiting where you could try one of the tasty Galletes made by the local traders, The museum in vire exhibits local art and the heritage of lower Normandy. The area surrounding Les Deserts is a walkers paradise with some lovely walks to be had in the countryside which has some wonderful views.
