Children and pets are welcome, (though not required).Located three blocks from historic downtown Calistoga, our newly decorated house features a charming interior with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, bath, & a serene patio overlooking a beautifully manicured lawn. The interior is furnished with antiques and painted in soft tones of coral, honey & sage. The living room is the perfect place to curl up in front of a roaring fire with a book from our well-stocked library, relax in the recliner, enjoy a movie, or listen to one of our jazz or classical CD’s. The master bedroom, painted in deep tones of sage, is furnished with a queen-sized bed, deluxe Chattam & Wells mattress, 600-count luxury linens, down comforter, antique wardrobe & Cable TV. There is a sliding-mirrored door closet with ample room in both the wardrobe and antique black-lacquered chest of drawers. The best view of the backyard is from this bedroom, which overlooks the patio and stunning backyard accessed through Andersen sliding doors. The guest room is decorated in soothing tones of eggshell and honey, with full-size mattress, imported feather bed & down comforter, bedside tables & reading lamps. Other grace notes in this room include a vintage-style rattan chair & matching side table, classic secretary, white pottery, dried-flower frames, Napa landscapes, botanical plaques & whitewashed copper carving. A large picture window looks out onto the splendid red bottlebrush tree. Robes included in each bedroom. Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a soufflé or warm up leftovers, including pots, pans, cutlery, and, of course, plenty of wineglasses.
