This Carriage House is located on a 13 acre wooded estate on 650 feet of Mullett Lake where the Indian River flows into the lake. It is on the 40 mile Inland Waterway that flows from Crooked Lake near Petosky into Lake Huron in Cheboygan. Also on the waterway are Pickeral Lake, the Crooked River, Burt Lake, the Indian River, Mullett Lake, the Black River and the Cheboygan River. This is a four season area where there is a lot to do during every time of the year. The Winter brings downhill and crosscountry skiing, ice fishing, skating, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Spring fun includes trout fishing, mushroom picking, hiking and biking on local trails. Summer brings boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimmimg, more fishing, hiking and biking, golfing, sightseeing, shopping and more. Fall activities include hunting, beautiful color tours, more hiking, biking and fishing and just relaxing. The Carriage House has two queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped and linens are supplied. It has satellite TV, DVD and CD players, laundry, fireplace, air conditioning and a large deck with both gas and charcoal grills, lounge furniture and a dining table and chairs. Baby furniture is available upon request. On the waterfront there is a dock for your boat, a gazebo to relax on, a firepit for bonfires, picnic table, and a small fishing boat, a canoe and paddle boat for your use. You will see deer, fox, raccoons, and other wildlife, bald eagles flying to and from their nearby nest, and swans, loons, ducks and other aquatic wildlife in the water. Short trips will take you to world famous Mackinac Island, the U.P. with it's casinos, the up-scale towns of Charlevoix, Petosky and Harbor Springs, and the Pigeon River State Forest where you can view elk herds.
