This typical Breton stone cottage is charmingly decorated and is very comfortable- the bedroom has a double bed and single bed, and the bathroom is very large and modern. The first floor has a corner kitchen with stove, micro, fridge, coffee maker, etc., and a very comfortable sitting area, including a futon which sleeps two and a french day bed. There is a great granite fireplace with a woodburning stove and a rustic dining area. this cottage is part of a 300-year-old farm building and oozes charm! It has a private terrace facing on to a very large and beautiful garden, with a boule court. English speaking owners are nearby to help with directions and suggestions. There are lots of summer activities including flea markets, wonderful daily food markets and traditional Breton dancing and singing. Beautiful beaches are a five-minute drive- St. Quay Portrieux is 2 km away, and has a casino, loads of beaches, restaurants and bars. Its a breathtakingly beautiful spot set in the Breton countryside. Masses of flowers everywhere, and coastal villages that must be explored. great walks along the cliffs of Brittany.gotta love it!
