Le Morne is located on the west coast of Mauritius Island, exactly the south west. Le Morne is a small village known for surfing, paragliding and Kite surf. The beach at Le Morne offers lovely white sand and is ideal for swimming. It is also very popular with the surfing fraternity. The area is exceptionally quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The lagoon of Le Morne is known to be one of the largest, with its blue turquoise water. From the beach there is a beautiful view of the mountain of Le Morne.
There are no private villas set right on the beach, all of them being on the slope of the mountain, overlooking the Paradis Hotel Golf Course and the crystal clear lagoon, about 800m away. Clients in private villas may enjoy water sports and golf facilities at the hotel Le Paradis against a small entrance fee.
