Thai Villa 4129 is situated on an idyllic headland between Kata Noi Beach and Kata Beach overlooking the Andaman Sea.The house is on three levels. Level 1 is the lower level and includes the swimming pool and master bedroom and study/ theatre rooms with flat screen television, DVD and surround sound. Level 2 has the living room and pantry and two guest bedrooms. It also has the kitchen, laundry room and maid's quarters. Level 3 is the front entrance. It has the third guest bedroom and an open Sala. The swimming pool is an infinity type pool which overflows into a lower pool, after which the water is filtered and treated and pumped back into the main pool. The swimming pool is a constant 5' deep, except where there are steps into the pool and by the bar. There is a well cared for garden and another jungle like garden with a series of waterfalls cascading through a series of ponds. Level 2 has the two guest bedrooms, the first is a large bedroom, with a king-size bed, a wooden Thai-style floor and ceiling and a small balcony with a stunning view. Both bedrooms at this level have en suite toilets and showers. The other bedroom has a single queen size bed and looks out onto the 'jungle" garden. The guest bedroom 2 is the only room with a bath and it is an open air affair with a view over the Andaman Sea. The kitchen and maid's rooms are relatively well hidden from the other rooms of that level. Currently employed and living in the maid's room are Nuch, the maid, and her husband Jit. Nuch speaks a little English, enough to get by, and is an excellent cook of Thai food. She can also prepare basic European dishes such as an English breakfast. She will happily cook excellent Thai dishes where the ingredients can be purchased in the local market at very cheap prices. She prepares the rooms and does the laundry in addition to her cooking and shopping duties. Jit is a general handyman who maintains the gardens, the swimming pool, and the house generally.
