Georgia Cabin Location Our georgia cabin is located 90 miles north of Atlanta, GA in the town of Blue Ridge. The cabin is just outside of town with paved road access. Specific directions to the cabin will be provided after reservations have been made. Georgia Cabin Amenities The Bella Vista Lodge is fully equipped luxury vacation rental with upscale furnishings, DVD players, satellite TV, wireless internet access, local phone access, luxury towels and linens, fully stocked kitchen, commercial gas grill and much more. There is a starter supply for each rental of paper products. Any personal items such as shampoo, body soap, etc. will need to be brought with you. Cell Phone Service At the Bella Vista Lodge, cell phone reception is not a problem. It has been our experience that most major carriers have great reception from our cabin. Grocery Store Availabilty In the town of Blue Ridge (just 3-4 miles from the cabin), there is two (2) stores: Ingle’s and Food Lion where all major needs can be found to include beer and wine. Alcohol: Fannin County does not permit the sale to alcohol other than beer or wine. The closest package store is 16 miles south in Ellijay. Closest Walmart to the Cabin The town of Blue Ridge does not have a Wal-Mart. The closest Wal-Mart store is located in Ellijay. Firewood for wood burning fireplace The Bella Vista Lodge has one wood burning fireplace which is located on the screened porch. Firewood is provided. Absolutely no liquid accelerant is ALLOWED!! If you are not proficient in starting a fire, then please bring some brand of fire starter or starter logs with you. These can be purchased at any of the local grocery stores in town ****Any usage of any flammable substances to start a fire will result in loss of your security deposit. Pets at the Cabin The Bella Vista Lodge has adopted a NO PETS POLICY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any violation of this policy would result in loss of security deposit and any additional costs related to cleaning with a minimum additional fee of $250. Smoking at the Cabin The Bella Vista Lodge has a strict no smoking policy in the cabin. Smoking is permitted outside, but not on the decks and porches, INCLUDING ON, NEAR ON IN THE HOT TUB. Please do not discard cigarette butts on the decks or porches. If found in these areas, loss of security deposit will result. Hot Tub at the Cabin The Bella Vista Lodge has a six person hot tub located on the screened porch near the wood burning fireplace. The water in the hot tub is drained and refilled after every rental. The hot tub mode must remain on STANDARD mode in order for the water temperature to remain hot. Please review the tub upon arrival to insure adequate water temperature. It takes approximately 6 hours to heat the hot tub water to 100 degrees to 102 degrees Fahrenheit after it is drained and refilled. The LED screen will read “std”, if it is in any other mode, the hot tub will not be able to maintain its temperature. The hot tub is not recommended for young children, those who are pregnant and any person with blood pressure problems. Entering the tub is at your own risk. Please refrain from the use of alcohol while using the hot tub. Do not use glassware, wine glasses, beer bottles etc. in or near the hot tub. Any violation will result in the loss of the security deposit. After each use, please place the appropriate amount of “shock” chemical to insure water purity between uses. Pest Control for the cabin The Bella Vista Lodge is treated monthly for pest control around the property. Please keep in mind that being in the north Georgia Mountains increases the frequency at different times of the year when certain pests and rodents are more prevalent. This may include insects, snakes and mice. All are treated for monthly. If you notice an increased problem, please bring this to our attention so we may take appropriate action. Wildlife around the Bella Vista Lodge The Bella Vista Lodge being situated in the north Georgia Mountains will increase the renter’s chance of encounters with different wildlife within this region to include: bears, deer, turkey, raccoons, snakes, squirrels. Please remember these are wild animals, and any encounter with them should be approached with caution. Making an Inquiry about the Bella Vista Lodge Located on the home page is a contact us tab. Click here and simply fill out the information to include name, phone, number, e-mail address and dates desired. Make sure to review the availability calendar located on the home page as well. For the dates that are RED, there are reservations already confirmed. We will try and respond to every inquiry within 24 hours. For immediate assistance please feel free to call us at: 678-633-1064 and leave a detailed message. Making a Reservation Once you are ready to make reservations, after confirming that dates are available by viewing the availability calendar and looking over the rates for the dates you desire by clicking the rates tab on the homepage, go to the reservation form. Please fill out the information dates desired and submit. Within 24 hours, you will receive a phone call to confirm your reservation from the Bella Vista Lodge. After speaking with someone about the reservation, an invoice will be sent to you. The first invoice will be for your refundable security deposit, which also holds the dates you have requested and once received your requested dates will be blocked. Blocked dates are completed on a first come first serve basis. Under no circumstances will any dates be reserved without a confirmed security deposit payment. The second invoice will be the total rental amount for your stay. This will include: rental rates for the nights desired, a set cleaning fee, and state/local sales tax. This invoice will be payable due at least 30 days prior to arrival at the Bella Vista Lodge either via mail or via the paypal invoice. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival are due immediately. For those who prefer to mail the immediate payment, payments can be made via overnight mail, Fed ex, UPS etc. with a MONEY ORDER, PERSONAL CHECK OR CASH. All personal checks must clear before any directions to the cabin, or entry key codes will be given out.
Methods of Payment The Bella Vista Lodge accepts the following forms of payment: Personal checks, Money Orders, Credit Cards, and CASH. At this time, we have decided to have all CREDIT CARD payments to go through the Paypal system. All payments can be made via all major credit cards to include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You do not have to currently maintain a Paypal account to send payment. The invoice via e-mail will have a direct link to make the payment. Also, for immediate reserving of dates, the security deposit can be completed directly through the Bella Vista Lodge website by clicking on the Reservation Deposit tab located on the Reservations Form. This will automatically set up the security deposit invoice for you. Rental Rates for the Bella Vista Lodge Rental rates for the Bella Vista Lodge are listed on the Rates page located on the home page of the website. Rates are listed based on four (4) person occupancy. Additional charges apply to every person over four. There is a $20 per person/per night charge with a maximum occupancy at any time being eight (8). All children under the age of 8 years old stay for free. There is no discount for parties under four (4). Rates will vary in accordance with weekdays, weekends, special seasons and holidays. There is a default minimum stay of two (2) nights throughout the year with major holidays and peak seasons have three (3) or four (4) night minimum. These rates are subject to change without notice. There is currently no one night rentals available. Minimum Stay Requirements at the Bella Vista Lodge There are minimum stay requirements at different times of during the calendar year: by default there is a two (2) night minimum stay. Between March 15th and April 24th there is a three (3) night minimum stay during the week. In October during leaf season, there is either a three (3) or four (4) night minimum depending on the rental rate chosen. All major holidays to include: New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas require a four (4) night minimum stay. Check-In and Check-Out Check-in is at 3:00pm at the Bella Vista Lodge. Please feel free to check with us the night before to see if arriving any earlier on the arrival date is possible. Unfortunately, if the previous night prior to your arrival date was rented, then no earlier check-in is possible. Check-Out time is 10:00am Please plan for this departure time, so as not to delay the housekeeping staff from providing the next rental with the cleanest cabin possible. Each cleaning between rentals can take at least 4-5 hours. Any delay in departure will result in the next rental customer being unable to check-in on time. Any delay in departure will result in partial loss of security deposit at an amount no less than $125.00 dollars Security/Damage Deposit The initial deposit paid to reserve your dates on a credit card or by check is your security deposit or damage deposit. This deposit will be refundable after departure from the Bella Vista Lodge provided no damage occurred during your visit and all policies have been followed. Please work with us to guarantee the entire refund of your security deposit. Cancellation of Reservations ***All cancellations must be made in writing via email, fax or certified mail to the following: *** Pinnacle Mountain Properties, LLC 18 Beacon Crest Newnan, GA 30265 Email: chris@bella-vista-lodge.com Fax: 1-678-826-0811 Reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival at the Bella Vista Lodge will receive a refund of any rental charges sent to cover the costs of the booking: i.e. nightly rental charges, cleaning fee and tax. A 3% charge will be deducted as a cancellation fee for those balances. Security deposits for reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival at the Bella Vista Lodge will receive the full amount ($250.00) minus a cancellation fee of $25.00 Reservations cancelled inside 30 days prior to arrival at the Bella Vista Lodge will result in loss of security deposit ($250.00). All other rental charges received will be refunded minus a 3% cancellation fee. For reservations cancelled 10 days (or less) prior to arrival at the Bella Vista Lodge will result in loss of security deposit and loss of entire rental charges. This policy includes all last minute bookings.
