November 2005,Vasant Kunj Apartment (2 bedroom)-
I was delighted with my stay at the Vasant Kunj apartment. I found it extremely well-appointed, with simple but tasteful furniture throughout. The lounge is bright and spacious, and both the DVD and Cable TV are very welcome indeed. The kitchen is well equipped, as is the dining room. There are 2 good-sized, comfortable bedrooms, both en-suite. Apart from the usual power-cuts, I had no problems with the fittings and appliances. I was in India for medical treatment, so I have to say that this apartment became my haven. It was a wonderfully restful sanctuary to return to after the chaos and trauma of visits to the hospital! Also, the fact that there is a house-boy to help with all kinds of chores was a great bonus. The landlord, too, went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable and stress-free as poss! ible. I am sure that this level of service would be very hard to match. I would recommend this apartment without the slightest hesitation to anyone needing to spend time in Delhi. (Vasant Kunj)....Excellent is an understatement for the quality of this accommodation and the service provided by Shiv and Subo. Shiv has an excellent eye for details, ensuring that the flat is always absolutely immaculate! Furthermore, it is furnished fashionably. I spent a lot of time looking for accommodation in Delhi and did not see anything even remotely as good as Shiv's flat. In fact, it was such a wonderful flat that I stayed for six months! The apartment was well situated, very clean and extremely comfortable with a home from home environment. We would recommend your service to all our family and friends and appreciated your professionalism and quality service. We will be again visiting from the 27th May for 7 nights taking us up to the 4th June 05. Not for a moment did we regret that we had chosen this place, actually! As journalists, travelling all over the world, by now we have become pretty choosy but Shiv's apartment, being so tastefully designed, everything in place, very clean and really organized, made us wonder: Should we recommend it? Excellent property with every attention to detail by a very attentive owner. The apartment is in a good location, has good security and has every amenity. The daily attendant kept the place spotless, did all the washing and provided fresh towels and linen daily. Highly recommended, Ian Cootes
