The Summit House is one of a few private homes located in Mt. Nebo State Park. Our 4400 sq ft house is perched, 1500 feet above the Arkansas River and Dardanelle Lake, on the North Bluff of Mt. Nebo.
Four charming bedrooms all have their own entrance to a 62 foot deck overlooking the Lake, five baths, fully furnished kitchen, covered patio off the 62'x19' great room with large native stone fireplace, a 38'x19' cathedral ceiling living room and a 20'x24' game room makes this an ideal location for family reunions, weddings, receptions, business retreats, social meetings and church retreats. Owner, acclaimed watercolorist, Cynthia Schanink also teaches watercolor workshops with lodging provided for your group when you sign up for a workshop with her. Sleeping accommodations are two kings, one queen, one double, three day beds with trundles, two double foutons, two queen sleepper sofas, and five rollaways. The master suite is 20'x27' and includes a two-person jacuzzi, double vanities and shower.Enjoy all the amenities of the state park, which was rated in the top ten in the late 1900's, historically noted as the "Resort Above the Clouds". Awaken to sunrise over the valley below from the back deck or porch and memorable sunset at "Sunset Point" across the lane.

$300/night with a two night minimum, 3-day minium for a holiday weekend or $1650 plus tax = $1782/week. This rate has tax included. We prefer a check. We confirm reservations when $324 is received.
