Apartment Le Verrier is located within the gardens of a villa which sits atop a hill, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean sea, the southern Alpes, and the Loup Valley. Bordered by forest on three sides, and 2 kilometers from the nearest road, it provides a tranquil setting. The apartment has its own private garden, with separate access to the parking area and to the 11 X 5 meter heated pool, which is situated in an exotic, child friendly garden. Guests have exclusive use of the pool in the morning and shared use with the owners at other times.The apartment is charming and completely equipped with antique furniture, quality sofas and chairs, large comfortable beds, the convenience of a modern kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, and a lovely exterior dining area. It has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a queen-sized bed and the other has two full-sized single beds, a travel cot for a baby or young child, a bathroom, living/dining room with TV, DVD, VCR, CD and stereo. Wireless Internet access, phone and fax are also provided. French doors offer views of the valley and mountains and access to the covered outside dining area set in the garden. This apartment is rented separately from the main villa from September to July, but is rented with the villa from July through August. A mature landscaped garden surrounds the apartment, with the forest beyond, offering wonderful opportunities for children to play, as well as many beautiful walks for all members of the family. There is parking for 1 car within the garden and further parking just outside the gate of the villa. The access road to the domaine is private and the domaine is secure and safe. The pool has an alarm to safeguard young children. The apartment is accessed via steps and therefore is not wheelchair accessible. Within the domaine, there is a large 25 X 10 meter pool, three tennis courts, petanque/boules courts, outdoor table tennis, and young children's play area, all free for your use. A number of beaches and golf courses famous to this area are within 10 minutes of the villa. There are numerous walks and mountain bike rides in the woods and along rivers directly accessible from the villa. Horse riding, sailing and all water sports, paragliding, mountaineering, and roller blading are all available within minutes. Lounging by the pool is always an option! In the winter, skiing and other snow sports are within 45-90 minutes.
The apartment is at the end of an access which joins the road between the beautiful ancient villages of Valbonne and Biot, each offering a multitude of restaurants, art galleries, poteries and glass ateliers. Cannes, and Antibes are 15 minutes, and Nice and the airport are 25 minutes by car. It is 45 minutes to Monaco and St. Tropez. A marine park and theme park are within 10 minutes. Guests are amazed at the ease of access to a multitude of places and activities. The buzz of the Riviera is at your doorstep, yet the setting is beautifully calm.
