The lounge opens onto a balcony overlooking the sea and Robben Island – really has magnificent views. The apartment is centrally situated and close to many of Cape Town’s world famous heritage sites. The V&A Waterfront is approx. 1.5km (just under a mile) away with its various restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, cinema, tours etc. There is also a public bus sop to the V&A Waterfront right outside your door. However, I would definitely recommend a car as there is so much to do and see while in Cape Town. You could take the bus to the V&A Waterfront where you could go on various tours. Just to name a few examples of places you may wish to visit while you are here. Golf Course within walking distance of the apartment Cape Town CBD approx. 1.1/2 km from Mouille Point Ratanga Junction (Africa’s own small Disneyland) Canal Walk at Century City, biggest shopping complex in Africa with restaurants, shopping, cinemas etc. Canal Walk straddles almost 1 kimometre of canals with Discovery Island at one end, a 16ha conservation wetland. The wetland which includes an aviary is fully encircled by water. Health & Racquet Club Grandwest Casino & Entertainment Centre Winelands Beaches on the Atlantic Seaboard, Clifton, Camps Bay and not to forget the newly renovatedand opened scenic Drive on Chapman’s Peak.
