Two bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, and twenty feet of balcony overlooking the beach. There are large closets in both bedrooms and lots of dresser storage for your clothing. Sitting area in master bedroom has marble floors and hammock to hang on the long balcony. (See additional pictures.) Second bedroom has king size bed and private bath with skylight. The penthouse has beautiful and upscale decor.

Girasol Condominium building was built in the early '80's and is in the prime location of the Hotel Zone - a figure 7 island boardered on one side by the Nichupte Lagoon and on the other by the sparkling Caribbean ocean. It is approximately halfway between the Cancun International Airport and the Centro(city)of Cancun.

Just within a mile or two you have access to the most incredible shopping malls and native markets in Mexico and every water sport known to man! This includes boating - sea-doos to yachts, paddle boats to deep sea fishing vessels - parasailing from the beach, scuba diving and snorkeling. Within a couple of blocks you'll find a marina where you can catch a party boat to the island of women known as Isla Mujeres or tour busses to the world famous Mayan ruins of Chitzen Itza or the beautiful ruins of Tulum built on a cliff overlooking the ocean.

It is the largest and the most beautiful unit in the condominium building "Girasol" which means Sunflower in Spanish. As you can see from our photos it provides all the comforts of your own home. Just picture yourself sitting here gazing at the bluest and most gorgeous ocean in the world.
There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, oven and range with glass cooktop, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, back bar, breakfast bar with four barstools and a breakfast nook shown above that looks out over the beach and shimmering blue ocean. The kitchen area is part of the great room which has 40 feet of balcony where you can soak up some sun or marvel at the brilliance of the moon and stars at night. In this room you'll find a comfortable couch, loveseat and chair where you can sit to enjoy the 42 inch LCD television with satellite programming. There is also high speed broadband internet access for your laptop.
Within one block you will find the best restaurants and the Party Center of Cancun including Senor Frogs, Hard Rock Cafe, Carlos and Charlies, Rainforest Cafe, Daddy-O's, The City, Coco Bongo and numerous other places to let your hair down and fiesta! Lots of sun here to soak it all in. Escape to the warm tropics! You'll have a blast! Girasol has lovely, powdery white sand beaches, and crystal clear, tuquoise, warm water! The area has many nice restaurants of all kinds and prices, an abundance of night life nearby, and activities- in the water and out! You can keep busy all the time with the many exciting activities and tours that Cancun has to offer. But, you can just sit back, and take a break! Lie in the hammock on the balcony off the master bedroom and take a siesta.......
There is so much to do here, you could never get bored! You will be close to many activities and water sports. There is swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, boogie boarding, fishing, and visiting the interesting Xel-Ha National Park, Xcaret, and much more. At the park, you can swim with dolphins, float down a river on a ring, and many other fun water activities. There is also horseback riding, helicopter rides, ATVS, trips to the island of Isla Mujeres and Cozumel, and visiting the fascinating, historical Mayan ruins of Chitzenitza and Tulum.

The huge mirror over jacuzzi tub in master bedroom gives double image of the ocean and beach. Where else could you find this kind of view from your bed?!

-The Girasol condominium has a tennis court in front of the building. A small lobby downstairs is done in traditional Mexican colors. The sand on Girasol's nice beach is soft and white and is NEVER hot to walk on! Sit under a palapa and sip a margarita or cerveza. The restaurant/bar is on the side of the larger of the two pools, and is only 50 feet from the beach and the ocean. The complex has direct access to the pools and the lovely beach. The pools have lounge chairs to relax! There is a private parking lot with no charge. There is a tour office in the lobby to help you with reservations. There are buses that run up and down the hotel zone regularly for only 65 cents. Taxis are easily obtainable in front of the condo.
