Perched on top of a hill overlooking a valley of the Dordogne, lies an 18th century Cottage with land covering several hectares on which pine trees and holly oaks grow. Nestled in the midst of this greenery sits a Cottage built from old stone and a finely renovated barn with attractive interior design. There are leisure activities for your enjoyment and great peaceful walks for everyone.The rooms are imbued with regional character, one of them featuring a fireplace. Refined and inviting, it perfectly matches the hearty welcome. Moreover in the Vialadezie you will enjoy a rest in the park that surrounds the cottage, a family dinner with a barbecue or a book under the shade of the 250 year-old “Tilleul” Linden tree. The Cottage (120m2), sleeps 6 to 8. On the ground floor the KITCHEN is separated and is fully equipped with elevated oven and microwave, 5 ring cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cook's knives, serving dishes, water boiler, teapot, and all cooking utensils. Dining room - has an old stone fireplace, table for 8. Sitting area with comfortable sofa. Two large glass doors give on to the north and south park where you can appreciate some great sunsets over the valley. The LIVING ROOM, a large 30sq.m area, has 2 comfortable sofas for watching tele on a 25" HD Television. Downstairs you will find a 20sq.m BEDROOM with an "en-suite" Bathroom and large double bed (160 x 220 cm) and a separate bathroom that has Bath, toilet, sink, washing machine, iron, iron board and hairdryer. On the first floor there are 2 "20sq.m bedrooms" with double bed (160 x 210cm) and a beautiful "charpente". There is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. SWIMMING POOL: Private swimming pool 10m x 5m with wooden deck. OUTSIDE It's a 15 hectare park. The pond has fish and some friendly frogs. Christelle the owner takes care that the park around the house is always kept in order, with plenty of flowers and plants of all kind. There are benches and tables around the property so that you can decide to have tea in the sun or in the shade. You can take walks in the countryside starting straight in front of the land without crossing any roads for hours... CLEANING To minimise the amount of luggage you need to bring (especially for those flying), all bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price. Maid service on demand; ask on arrival, price €60. GETTING HERE If your coming by plane you will probably decide in flying to Bergerac. It is 40mins from the cottage and the directions are simple. If you come from the UK you have direct flights from Stansted, Liverpool, Southampton and Bristol. If you decide to go to Bordeaux it will take you under 2 hours to get to the cottage, if you come from the UK you will find direct flights from Manchester, East Midlands and Gatwick. Remember that you will need a car when you get here, there are a lot of things to see around in this area and you will not be seeing them without a car.
