Cottage Ocean Vacation Rental on Badian Island (Cebu) - Cottage Rental Listing Details

Our family has property overlooking the ocean with a five-bedroom villa and a one-bedroom cottage for rent. Villa and cottage are both air conditioned, with kitchen, refrigerator, cable TV, and other amenities. BBQ grills are available as well. Main shortcoming at current time is lack of internet access, unless you're equipped with a PDA/Blackberry. Plans are in place to get hooked up with DSL. The affordable vacation spot is ideal for:

A two hour drive south of Cebu City, Badian is easily accessible year round from Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Manila, San Francisco, Frankfurt, and other major world cities. We'll help arrange pick up at airport, overnight stay in Cebu City (if needed), and transportation to/from Badian Island. A boat and driver are available as well.

Badian Island sits astride colorful coral reefs that are teeming with marine life. The island is quiet, private, safe, and romantic with a fresh ocean breeze and starry nights. The villa and cottage, which overlook the ocean, are about a 20 minute boat ride from Moalboal. Moalboal hosts a number of world-class PADI dive schools, as well as numerous restaurants and pubs. For golfers, the main town of Badian is home to the Cebu International Golf and Resort.

Asking rental rate for cottage is U.S. $75 (NT $2250) a night, or U.S. $375 (NT $11,250) a week. For groups, the villa is U.S. $250 (NT $7500) a night, or U.S. $1250 (NT $37,500) a week. Rates are negotiable. For a price comparison, air conditioned cottages at the Badian resort adjacent to our property are advertised for at least U.S. $145 a person per day. At the more modest level, lodging in Moalboal is as low as U.S. $20 a night. We can help arrange a stay over in Cebu City (for convenience, our recommendation is the Waterfront Hotel, next to the Mactan International Airport), pick up and transportation to Badian Island, Moalboal scuba diving, grocery runs into the main town of Badian, golf, or other outings at cost plus 10% service charge.
