Resort: Sutuated at 2000 m, has mountains lift open all year around, thanks to the glacier and the summer ski. Ski resort situated within the the borough of Valtournenche at the foot of the Matterhorn (Cervino) 4478 m. Cervinia is now one of the most well known ski resort in Europe. Other sports available are: swimming, skating, gliding and paragliding.
Resort in Summer: The Matterhorn is world famous for climbing. There are also a number of normal rambling possibilities in Valtournenche. Summer ski area on the plateau Rosa with 9 ski-runs. Lovely walks to the Blue Lake where yo see the Matterhorn reflected in its clear waters.
Resort in Winter: Numerous cable cars connection to the 2 glaciers of the Plateau Rosa (3472 m) and the Furggen.
