This lovely chalet has been meticulously restored from it's former pastoral dilapidation. It oozes character and charm with an abundance of wood and grey mountain stone. Set off the quiet road leading through La Villette, Chalet Rostaing makes a good option for larger groups. Chalet Rostaing has a spacious dining room with the original vaulted ceiling, stone walls and a roaring log-fire. There is a separate lounge with another open fire. Rostaing benefits from 6 bedrooms all with individual features and a total of 4 bathrooms and 1 shower-room. The main entrance to Rostaing is from the quiet road which serves only the hamlet itself. There is also an entrance into the dining room near to the heated ski/boot room. If you just want to sit and relax during the day there is a terrace and a garden to soak up some Alpine sunshine. You have your own parking area alongside and a store-room suitable for bicycles and other equipment. Ski back to hamlet. The Chalet is situated 1km from the rural traditional village of Vaujany where you will find the main lift station and swimming pool/sports complex - L'Espace Loisirs is a facilities complex that allows you to stay in shape and to recuperate vital tonus. Facilities include - main pool, paddle pool, water slide, sauna, spa, jacuzzi, hammam, gym and health centre.Vaujany can be reached via our own shuttle bus or you can ski to the halfway station and catch the gondola to the cable car station in Vaujany. Vaujany faces the splendid "Massif des Grandes Rousses" mountains and encaptures the charm and the seduction of an authentic Alpine high altitude village. Blending tradition and modernity, Vaujany proposes visitors - top class skiing, swimming, skating, cycling and trekking facilities amongst an unspoilt environment in beautiful mountain landscapes.
