Set in the heart of La Villette, Jean-Luc witnesses the passing of sedate village life. Wake up with the cockerels and listen to the locals, many of whom have never known anything except a farming life, chat and gesticulate on the nearby paths. Chalet Jean-Luc is the original living area of one of the larger houses in the hamlet, which has recently been renovated and furnished in a similar style to our other catered chalets. It is situated just in front of Maison Rostaing in the centre of La Villette. All the rooms are south facing and the sitting/dining room has a log-fire. There are 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a total of three WC’s. There is an entrance hall with stairs to the cellar where skis and boots are stored and a pleasant garden alongside the house.

· Chalet staff live out Ski back to hamlet. The Chalet is situated 1km from the rural traditional village of Vaujany where you will find the main lift station and swimming pool/sports complex - L'Espace Loisirs is a facilities complex that allows you to stay in shape and to recuperate vital tonus. Facilities include - main pool, paddle pool, water slide, sauna, spa, jacuzzi, hammam, gym and health centre. Vaujany can be reached via our own shuttle bus or you can ski to the halfway station and catch the gondola to the cable car station in Vaujany. Vaujany faces the splendid "Massif des Grandes Rousses" mountains and encaptures the charm and the seduction of an authentic Alpine high altitude village. Blending tradition and modernity, Vaujany proposes visitors - top class skiing, swimming, skating, cycling and trekking facilities amongst an unspoilt environment in beautiful mountain landscapes. In the evening there are shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy when the village comes alive with torch descents, shows and events. Vaujany benefits from a state of the art escalator which connects the top with the bottom of the village. Up the top there is the Galerie Marchande with various shops/ bars and restaurants and then there is another similar development around the main lift station at the bottom...shops, bars, restaurants, etc. The escalator connects the two and allows the people at the top of the village to ride easily down to the lift station and back again. The 160 place Cable Car systems takes you from the village at 1100 metres to 2700 metres …The next stop up is 3300 metres at the Pic Blanc looking out on to the Mont Blanc, the Grand Paradis, the Meije and the Ecrin National Park. Childcare - There is a spacious day nursery and a children's activity club in Vaujany. Vaujany provides all the ingredients of which special holidays are made - for all ages!
