Guided tours are available at the fish farm, 1 km. At Cahvín, 10 km, there is an area with eucalipti which have been classed the largest in Europe.

Viveiro still has its old murals and Carlos V harbour. Romeria del Naseiro de Viveiro with processions, songs and dances the 4th Sunday in August. Ortigueira, with its harbour and gardens, 40 km. Heated swimming pool in Viveiro 15 km. Cedeiro, fishing town with its Vilarrube beach, 60 km. From here, you can visit the Faro de Punta Canderia and San Andres de Teixido.
