Resort: Small climatic health resort, 6 km south from Bebra, 26 km east from Bad Hersfeld, 45 km west from Eisenach. All shops, restaurants etc. in Bebra. In the resort: shops, grocers. Indoor pool. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Erfurt (ERF) 110 km, Frankfurt (FRA) 170 km. The medieval Roman-Gothic defence church is the centre-point of the town, surrounded by timber panel facade houses. Due to its favorable position in the centre of Germany, many destinations worth a visit can be reached from Ronshausen. The towns of Weimar, Erfurt and Eisenach as well as Bad Hersfeld, Fulda and Bebra are worth visiting. The "Badepark Ronshausen" (vast outdoor pool) is open to guests in summer.
