Wingst itself is climatic health resort in the interior 21 km from the sea, 40 km from Stade, 93 km from Hamburg, 120 km from Bremen. All shops, restaurants etc. in Stade. In the resort: shops. Indoor pool. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Hamburg (HAM) 102 km, Bremen (BRE) 132 km. Bathing in the river Elbe with sandy beach (20 km) and in the North Sea (Cuxhaven, 35 km). A variety of excursion destinations are close-by.
