Ski Mountain chalet 15 min to Borovets Rila Bulgaria - Villa Rental Listing Details

Chalet Carmel is situated at the foot of the mountain, by a stream, on the edge of the village.

Mountain chalet situated in the 'post card' village of Majare (Madjare) in the mountain of Rila which is the highest mountain in the whole of the Balkan peninsula with the highest peak -Mount Mussala at 2925m.

The Chalet is very close to the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria which is only 15min by car.

Borovets ,with its panoramic views of the sun kissed scenery and snow for approximately one hundred and fifty days a year guarantees perfect skiing conditions. The resort has also started using new snowmaking equipment.

From outside the Chalet you can start exploring the mountain.
There are several trails in all directions. Not far from the village is Rila National Park with 14000 hectares of forests.
Ski season is from December until end of April.

Residents benefit from the peaceful mountain life, while still enjoying easy access to 3 ski resorts and the capital Sofia which is 70 km away.

The village of Majare is only 10 miles from the ski resort of Borovets, 3 miles to Samokov and 13 miles to another smaller ski resort -Maliovitsa ,which is the birth place of Bulgarian alpine climbing with numerous very difficult climbing routes.

The chalet is in a very secluded place, close to the village church.
The facilities are as follow:
3 bedrooms,2 living rooms with double sofa beds for total of 10 people. Bed linen is supplied. There are 2 shower/WC rooms. Outside dining area-for 12 people,inside dining area 6-8 people, the living area seating capacity 8. Kitchen and laundry. Fridges on each of the floors, grill, ceramic-halogen hob, iron and board, microwave, oven, grill, toaster, washing machine, fitted kitchen-cutlery supplied.

The villa is heated with radiators in each room and in the corridors, plus 2 fire log burning places and one very attractive log burning fire with glass front in the living room downstairs.
CDs,DVD player on site. Satellite TV in each living room.
Numerous balconies on all sides.Rustic tavern downstairs.There is a barbeque outside, vast and landscaped garden with furniture, stream with a pond running through the whole length of the property(not in the winter), water well, barn,sauna and hot tub from summer2006(small extra charge).

Secure Parking for 4 cars.Garden is with a superb views towards mountain picks of above 2500m. Gym area.There is a ski room & mountain bikes to hire in the summer.

2 trips to Borovets per day included during ski season with times to suit the residents.

The booking Details are as follows:
Booking deposit is 30%.With provisional bookings dates will be confirmed only when the deposit has been paid, Balance to be paid at arrival at the villa. All details will be confirmed again.

Cancellation policy: Deposit is non refundable. There will be damage deposit of 200euros or 150 pounds payable on arrival. That amount will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return if there is no reported damage. Please tick the list of inventory on arrival and again on leaving.

There will be person to check it on your last day for convenience. There are special terms and conditions to young groups. Please contact me for details.

For a week rent the change over day is Saturday but that can be rearranged to suit your needs. In the winter months, it is included in the price 2 trips to Borovets per day.Daily rent available.
