Come enjoy this 2 story bayside single family home on the peninsula! Located between Medina and Coronado Avenue, this home is walking distance to shops, restaurants, Balboa Pier and bike rentals. This home features a spacious front patio, brick fireplace, bay views and 2 parking spots!
The kitchen, half bathroom, living and dining room are located downstairs and 2 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms are upstairs. The living room has an L-shaped couch with a coffee table, brick fireplace and TV. There is a dining room table that seats 6. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, microwave and plenty of counter and cabinet space for storing and preparing food. The front patio has a table that seat 6, an umbrella and a BBQ, great for cooking for family and friends!
The spacious master suite has a queen bed, TV, wet bar and an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a balcony with views of the bay. The third and fourth bedrooms have a set of bunk beds, double on bottom and twin on top. There is another full bathroom between the second and third bedrooms.
There is a washer and dryer and 2 parking spots in the garage along with extra storage for bikes, surfboards and extra beach gear.

My only complaint would be that there is insufficient lighting in the bedrooms. In the master, I couldn't read in bed on my side - no lamp. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 We have been renting homes on Balboa Bay for many years and this is by far the best property yet. Clean and spacious and well appointed for a rental. Two-car garage is a definite plus in the parking-starved penninsula. Our one problem (water heater went out) was taken care of very quickly by Burr White. |

Thought the new carpet and furniture coverings were great! We were very disappointed in the non-working items in the home of which we were not informed... Gas BBQ regulator broken, couldn't use it until new part installed...dryer needed a new part, couldn't use until new part installed. Fridge ice and water dispenser had a note on it that it was not least that had a note on it, but still should have been informed of this AT CHECK-IN...the other things were not mentioned, had to discover them. When we are paying $4000 for a week in a home, I expect all should be in working order...Not sure if we will rent this house again because of all the repair issues... Unfortunate as we like the house and location. |

This was a family friendly property for adults and children. Our almost two year old grandson found many toys available for him Jerry & Monica B. from LA, CA recommends this property. They provided check in materials (towel, plastic pail & shovel and coffee to be used in the unit as well as general information on the Newport area. I heartily recommend them. |
