You can relax by the pool and enjoy the sun, too, or go jogging in the adjacent nature reserve. Less than 15 minutes and 7 kilometers from St. Peter's and the Vatican; and and little more to Rome's other monuments and museums. Shops and restaurants are minutes away. The bus stops near the property entrance. Drive to the best beaches in Italy in less than an hour. This dominion takes its name from the Tower in the center of the hamlet, which dates back to early Roman times and was restored in the 1950’s. The property originally belonged to the Massimo family, and then was later inherited by the family of the current owners, the Princes Lancellotti, who have made it their home. It covers 300 acres, of which more than a third are occupied by forest of mostly oaks. The small group of 4 homes makes up the hamlet, which sits on the summit of the hill. The largest building “la Stalla”, The Stables, was restored with great care and much love by its owners. At the end of “La Stalla” there is a two story “la Casetta“. This charming 2 bedroom independent apartment is attached to “la Stalla” but has its own independent entrance. On the ground floor of “la Casetta”, entering from the garden, there is a very comfortable and appealing living room with large sofas and a marvelous view of the lawns and the tower; there is also a powder room, and a lovely kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and dining table for six. The staircase to the next floor goes up from the kitchen where there is a Master bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with twin beds, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The house is equipped with satellite TV, a computer, wifi Internet, and telephone. In the long, lovely summer, you will certainly enjoy using the large, Olympic pool, as well as your own private outside space, which is well furnished with umbrellas, chairs and a table for outside dining. Cooking classes and tours or Rome also arranged. In the fall or winter you will enjoy the warm and cozy comforts of a home in Rome.
