PML Home For a Family A guest from Sunnyvale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 This was a last minute rental booked for a very busy weekend at Pine Mountain Lake. We were lucky to find a home this large and to work with such a friendly, helpful and professional staff. The location isn't great because you are on a main road with plenty of cars driving by. The home is clean, spacious and adequately furnished. Although, only one bedroom seemed to have the most comfortable mattress while another had a noisy waterproof cover that made for a less restful or peaceful sleep. The kitchen/dining area had the biggest black ants I have ever seen! Luckily, ant spray was available, but it took some work to get rid of them. Apparently ants in PML are common. We were very grateful to have air conditioning on a sweltering weekend! Also, plenty of DVDs and games are available to keep families entertained. The outside deck and tables are rundown, and we had to really sweep up before using the area to eat and BBQ. A towel rack in the hall bathroom fell off when we gently placed a towel on it. Thankfully, we had a screw driver on us to fix it. The beach/lake was very crowded; I would recommend arriving before 10 a.m. to stake a claim near the water. Visitors CANNOT park in the marina parking lot and will have to park on the road. Not fun when you have a lot of equipment on a 104-degree day! All that said, I would still recommend this home, but just know that it is not in the greatest location at PML. |

They reacted quickly to a problem we had the first night. We have stayed in rental homes in Pine Mountain Lake several times. This was one the nicer homes. |

Needs some TLC A guest from Belmont, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 The house is well supplied and has everything you need for a short vacation; also, the AC was appreciated that hot weekend. However, the beds were really hard -I slept on the sofa for 3 nights - and we had noisy neighbors across the street (partying until 1 am on their deck on Fri and Sat). The exterior needs some TLC - chipping paint, old screen door, dead leaves on the stairs and it just looks tired. Appreciated the great supply of books, DVDs etc, and the housekeeping service was good. The house was clean inside and the location is convenient (close to the gate). The 2nd house we rented from the same company was much nicer (there were 11 of us in all, 4 in one house and 7 in the other). |

Very dirty and very old place! Viktoria F. from Campbell, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in August, 2011 The house is in a horrible condition. There is dust, and spider webs in every corner of the house; carpet with stains, old and smelly blankets in all rooms. The house also is full of ants. The first day of my vacation I spent cleaning up the house, washing dishes (it was impossible to touch anything in the kitchen); and trying to get rid of ants. I was able to negotiate with the rental agency regarding the price adjustment, and a second clean up, but my vacation was ruined already. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY! |

Stayed for 1 days in May, 2009 I would give the property a better review except for the fact that we spent the first hour getting rid of the ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Also, the deck was dirty and uninviting. For the price, it seems like it should be hosed down or something before guests arrive and the inside of the property checked for at least a minimal amount of insect control. |
