Stayed for 8 days in December, 2012
We tried to find places for about 2 weeks and every island had no reservations available. We went through flipkey one last desperate time and I got an email about a unit that had a cancellation. We jump on it not really knowing what we were getting in return. The unit was affordable compared to what others were charging by hundreds of dollars. We stayed in 409b. The view of the ocean was jaw dropping. The place had a great patio over looking impeccably kept grounds. Having a washer and dryer in the unit saved our butts! Everything anyone could need was all in the condo. We were conveniently located in Kehei and the trip couldn't of been more wonderful. Wendi was a great resource for us and we would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a great trip to Maui!

It was OK..But not the RATS!!

Stayed for 7 days in September, 2008
We 1st were checked into the wrong room. We had "specifically" reserved a certain room #. We didn't realize right away that they have the same #'s for Blding A AND B..The next morning we had to go to front desk and inquire because the rm we were checked into did not look recently renovated. Sure enough, we were in wrong rm. Had to pack up everything and move! Yck! Wasted a whole morning over all this and were not commpensated what so ever from the front desk nor Kumulani Vacations and Realty Inc. At least we could have received a comp drink at local spot!! But they each just said sorry, can't do anything for you! Got settled into new rm. It was very nice and clean. But a few days into stay, went to pull out couch-bed and there were RAT pellets, YES RAT PELLETS in the bed!! YCK! Called front desk and all they would do is give us glue traps and confirm they do have rats, but, and I quote "their so cute! their just a little bigger than a mouse. Their not big city rats! and they do eat thru the screens!" I couldn't wait to get out of there! Thank God we still had another wk at another hotel! But the grounds were really maintained well. They even had one, ft. wide metal band around each palm tree about 15 ft. off the ground and when I asked about what they were for, the front desk gal said it was to keep the RATS from climbing all the way to the top of the palms and eating the fruit!! yikes! more RAT stories!Not much of a beach. A lot of homeless people around. A "public" park between hotel and beach so you get all kinds of people around. I'm sorry, but I will NOT be staying here again.
