Girls Beach Getaway A guest from Lake Mary, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 My sisters and I planned a girls getaway and we picked the perfect stay! We spent most of our time on the white sandy beach, but for sleeping and showering for dinners out, the room is absolutely perfect!! Our room was newly renovated so fixtures looked stylish and clean... Fortunately we scheduled our stay during the week, so there were only a handful of guests total at the sea rocket! This made for a very relaxing time :) I would definitely recommend others to come and enjoy! |

Wonderful - except no hot water... Linda L. from N Redington Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2012 I rented a room at the Sea Rocket for out of town guests. The location was perfect and the room was immaculately clean.The only reason that I didn't rate the stay as 5 stars across the board is that there was no hot water in the room, a fact that my guests were too embarrassed to bring up to me until the end of their 3 day stay (when they asked to take a shower at my condo). I feel certain that this would have been addressed had my guests said something on day one, but alas, they didn't.When they mentioned the lack of hot water as they turned in their room key to the motel managers, they were told "This is Florida, it takes a while for the hot water to get started"... A disappointing response (from a gracious staff) that I would not have accepted had I been there. But my guests were young adults and just shrugged it off...Nevertheless, I will continue to use the Sea Rocket as "Guest quarters" in the future, but I'll be sure to make sure that the hot water is working as soon as I check them in... Property Manager Response: Response from Waterfront Vacation Rentals Inc. The water does have to be left on for a while if the units are mostly occupied, it runs on a few water heaters for all of the units. Perhaps the guests were spoken to in a manner not acceptable to anyone by someone at the property, but they were not spoken to like that at Waterfront. We will cerrtainly be very happy to have the guests return. |

Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 Everything was perfect with this property, location is on the best part of the beach with ample chairs and close to the fishing pier. The only issue was the coffee maker wasn't working so we drank other beverages instead and I am sure that it would have been resolved had I brought it to the managers attention. Very accomodating with a late departure due to our flight not leaving until 7:30pm. Will definitely return to this property and would recommend to anyone intereted in visiting the area. |

The location is great and the views fantastic. Property was excellent but the condo needs an upgrade. A guest from Ft Robinson, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 Everything about the location, proximity to beach, people we met, weather was perfect. The beds were comfortable and our son loved the extra area for him. The condo itself is a 1970 furniture style in need of upgrade. The carpet needs cleaning, the furniture needs to be upgraded and some additional items located in the kitchen and restroom would be nice. We have stayd at many a condo in this price range and had much more amenities available in the condo itself. I would go back to the property but not to this particular condo. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2011 We (a family with a 9 yr old child) stayed during March Break 2011 and we couldn't believe how quiet the area was compared to the other beaches (Clearwater and St. Pete) that we visited. The condo was smaller than expected and the kitchen was dated, but overall we were happy with the space and were very comfortable! There isn't much to do or many places to eat within walking distance, but everything is a short drive away. We wish we had booked for longer! By the way, a dolphin swam within 15 feet of our child at this beach. That alone made it great. |

The only gripe that I have is that the wireless Internet was virtually unavailable. I had no signal in the room. It was only available on the east end of the building. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2010 The office was never open while we were there due to the holiday so we were never able to get the code for the internet. That was the only problem. The condo is older but for a place to sleep on teh beach, you couldn't beat the location or the price. My kids loved it. We started the day on the beach and ended the day on the beach. We would stay here again. |
