I have been renting at Sea Rocket for several years and at different apartments #15 was a great room. The balcony was an extra that the others don't have. To the owners of the unit..I felt it needed a little cleaning. The walls were dirty. I had splashed some liquid on the door and when I cleaned it you could see how dirty the door was. Then of course, a good look showed that the walls were a bit dirty too. It lacked adequate drawer space to put your belongings. The closet was very large but there was only the three shelves and two drawers. (not enough drawers if I had come with another person) A large dresser would be more useful in my opinion.I know minor details..but sometimes those little things make a great room even better. I have referred several of my friends to Sea Rocket and all have loved it,

Sorry, but at 310 square feet and a king bed (the only unit there with a king bed), there just isn't room for much storage or a large dresser. The owner has been reminded that it is time for the annual deep cleaning. Thanks for the referrals! It is such a popular property.

For the money, it was ok, but seriously needs updating and the floor was filthy. Futon had a broken leg on it. Sliding door blinds were very dirty and broken. We would be willing to pay a little more, for some updated fixtures!

We discovered the Sea Rocket when we were driving through the area a few years back and had a great experience, then. We haven't stayed at any other places like it- and don't intend to search for any others like it. We stayed there again,recently, and had another great experience. The Sea Rocket will always be our choice when we go for a stay at the beach!

First, I love that you can make your reservation online. Second, the staff at the office is great. They were very quick to check us in and out. They answered my inquiries very professionally and courteously. Third, I loved the hotel. It reminded me of when I was little and used to stay at the beach. I dislike all of the new properties that have been constructed along Gulf Blvd. This hotel, however, reminded me of the old days. Nice and quiet, very homey. The room had everything you could think of: a fantastic king sized bed, pots, pans, dish detergent, etc. etc. I would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to anyone. I'm definitely returning soon.

Nice that the unit had a dishwasher yet no detergent was provided. Great space and excellent location. Porch area was nice yet needed to be cleaned from the last renters.

Linda and VrondaWe had a great time at Sea Rocket this year. Unit 15 was great. Unit 12 was OK but could use some light. This was our only reservation.Our problem in booking a unit is that we have to wait till the airline announces it's Winter flight schedule before we can book accomodation. We hope to go to Florida again and if so, we will use your services.Al Mutch

great location , nice people, I know some unit have been updated, mine was not yet and it really needs it. Outside it very nice and maintained very well.We had a huge balcony and that was great , gave us extra living space.All together very nice place

location and outside property beautiful and clean. Lots of chairs and amenities to enjoy the beach. Inside room smelled from musty blankets on the bed. The sheets were clean but covers smelled horrible. We got in late so had to use them as is, but the staff replaced the blankets and sheets in the morning. Outside patio was also covered in dirt and everything stacked in a corner-we had to clean and move furniture before we could eat out there.

We were at this condo for our 7th anniversary. We are not the normal couple - - our weekend away for our anniversary consists mainly of extreme-type Christmas shopping. We hit all of the outlet malls, etc, and all of the local retailers. We went back to the condo for a nap, and were met with construction workers jack-hammering in the condo that shared our bedroom wall. There was no nap to be had. The rental office had told us there would be no construction on the weekend... Well, they were horribly mistaken... It really put a damper on our "relaxing" weekend... Won't go back to that same condo. It was on the road side of the building, with no beach view.

Beach is beautiful but room is old, dingy, and not very clean. Large TV a plus but remote didn't with, even with new batteries. Lots of mildew and rust, stove burners so dirty they set off smoke alarm. Sliding door lock wasn't secured. I would not stay in this unit again, there are others on sure at same price that are much nicer.

Everything about our stay was perfect except for when we first arrived. We had several email and postal mail confirming our vacation which was very helpful. I called earlier on the morning we were checking in, and spoke to someone who said we could check in early. We unfortunately were delayed in getting there. There was no one in the office of the hotel, and the phone number on sign would allow you to leave a message but could never speak to a person. (it wasnt late at night it was around 4pm). There was no clear sign to go to the Waterfront building to pick up keys. we searched for the 'cat box' at hotel,couldn't find it, so we decided to go back home! On the way home we say the rental building, obviously found our keys, and everything was fine!... however, had we not passed and saw sign, we would have gone back home, and not known there was another choice. My husband and I are educated people, but that was very confusing, and started our vacation out very stressful! I just think putting more clear directions at resort/hotel when no one is there would be very helpful in times like this! I left 2 messages on the voicemail, and also never received a call back! Everything else about our stay/experience was perfect!!

Hangers were added 3/29/11. The condo is a small efficiency; therefore has limited space, including limited counter space. Though this unit may not have been updated as much as some of the others, it is popular as it is the only rental with a king bed and a large private balcony. Please refer to the pictures on our web site. No other mention has been made of the oven leaning.

dirty, the overall state of the kitchen utensils was less than satisfactory and finally the unit itself was very smelly (it would appear that other customers had been smoking in it). I loved the location in terms of beach accessibility and and the level of maintainance of the outside (I believe that paradoxily the outside of the units are better maintained than the inside!) Would I stay again at this location? No, but I will certainly book another location with you next year. Thanks for listening.

The toaster, and also hangers, were replaced 3/29/11. A hair dryer is not a required item. The kitchen and bathroom floor rugs were removed. The kitchen utensils appeared to be fine. The previous tenants that had recently vacated were heavy smokers. All of our units are listed as Non Smoking.

This is our second time for unit 15. Enjoyed it as usual. Bed is really comfortable. The balcony makes the unit seem larger.The common area is always well kept. Tim does a great job.

Ceiling fan in the unit needs to be replaced. Other than that, there needs to be a way to get excess water off the private balcony. Because of the weather, 1/2 of the balcony was unusable. The one little mop was not sufficient to remove all the standing water. And I think the balcony needs to be repainted as well. Other than that, It was great.

I have stayed at Sea Rocket twice now. I love the location and the value with this property. Both rooms, 30 and 15 are very nice, and both have a balcony. Since I am a smoker that was an added plus for me. The rooms are not very big, but for 2-3 people they are fine. Besides I'm not spending much time in the rooms anyway, because the beach is right there! I would definately recommend this property to everyone I know, and I have!
