Stayed for 14 days in January, 2013 Although advertised, there was no wifi in the Apt The equipment was in place, but no wifi or phone service. The small (26") TV is not HD as advertized. Poor furniture arrangement and no view of the Intracoastal Waterway due to massive tree in front of the lanai. DVD/VCR not hooked up.On the positve side, the Apt was very clean and Canopy Walk is a wonderful place to stay. The pool was not heated. Also, there was no Internet. We were not given a password to connect.It was also advertised that the complex had a dock with a gazebo, We were not allowed acces too. Not the one I wanted Sarah d. from Seabrook, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Well it all started from the beginning where there was a misunderstanding about the condo that I wanted! But taking that out of the equation the condo was not worth that amount of money. First of all there were dirty towels left I guess from the cleaning people! Then the water had the worse spell. I'm not sure when the last time it was used but it gave me a headache! The tv in the living room is so small that when you sit on the soda half of the tv is blocked from the love seats pillows. And whoever put in the shower head put it towards the shower door so when you turn it on you and the floor get soaked! There are a few other things but I think you get the point! The mattress were hard and the pillows were not very sleep worthy. The view of the trewes was not what I came to Florida for. I have a woods in the back of my home in Balto. The porch furniture left something ro be desired with 4 people staying in the unit and only 2 director chairs. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2011 Negatives - master shower had no hot water, TV in one bedroom not connected to cable, no pool key (called property manager 2x as instructed, stayed 5 nights, couldn't use the pool or clubhouse at all). Very poor! Positives - the condo was neat and clean. Staff at VRPros very professional. We are very disappointed in the negatives, though. Spring Break 2010 Canopy Walk 334 Marilyn K. from New Port Richey, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2010 There were stinky cigarette ashes in the kitchen waste basket under the liner and on the screened porch floor. Otherwise the unit was clean. It was nicely furnished and had all of the items we needed. The pool was closed one day without any warning or advance notice, which was disappointing. The elevator quit working one day, but was repaired and working again the next day. The advertised view of the intracoastal was actually almost completely blocked by trees, but we did enjoy the availability of the walking trail and proximity to stores and restaurants. Overall we had a nice visit. Great Place With a Few Suggestions Penelope W. from Southold, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2008 I just thought they were a little skimpy on kitchen/cooking utensils, only 1 towel per person and 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (2) to 6 people with no spares. I would expect to purchase more if I was there two weeks or more but for up to 2 weeks I feel that was pretty cheap. I also felt that some one came to replace the a/c filter, she said she rang the bell and I didn't hear it as I was in the bedroom and she walked in, I was startled and I feel they should make a phone call before coming or leave a note on the door when they will return. |

Stayed for 31 days in March, 2008 WE LOVED PALM COAST AND CANOPY WALK HOPE TO VISIT AGAIN NEXT YEAR. OUR CONTRACT STATED 3 BEEDROOMS AND THREE BATHS. THERE WERE ONLY TWO BATHS. THE LAKES ONR THE PROPERTY (OR PONDS) WERE NOT STOCKED AS INDICATED BUT THE FISHINF AND CRABING WERE GOOD IN THE INTERCOASTAL THE GROUT IN TILE NEEDED CLEANING. DESPITE ALL OF THIS WE LOVED IT. |
