An elegant 4 bedroom house that sleeps up to 12, packed with Mediterranean flair. The private heated pool is reason enough to book the home for months on end.
The gleaming pool and decking is kept in pristine condition. Immaculate pool tile and surrounding patio are a ready-made Vacation HQ, no matter the age and makeup of your group. Wide steps allow for easy entry and the pool furniture and sun beds are generously appointed. The screened lanai is surrounded by lush vegetation and tall trees, providing unrivalled privacy.
Indoors, natural sunlight pours nonstop through large windows, warming the home?s terra-cotta and ocean blue accents. Terrazzo tile was made for this kind of property - casual elegance for happy feet with a great tan. The neutral color scheme suits all tastes. Most rooms boast cream walls with classic white trim.

Easy walk to downtown Venice. The set up of the house is more than awkward. You have to walk through one bedroom and bathroom to get to the other bedroom. You also have to go through this bedroom to get to laundry. 2 doors on this bath one is a bifold door with no lock. The bathroom for main part of house also has a slatted bifold door. No fan in this bathroom. Very uncomfortable.. Living room not really suited for more than 5 people at once. Some suggestios. Renee L. from Gladstone, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 The location was great. Venice is a beautiful city. The bathrooms could use some maintenance. The shower did not work nor drain in the main bathroom. Eight of us had to use one shower all week. The shower curtain rods were rusty and the curtains did not move along the rods easily. The grout in the bathroom was soiled. The back bedroom was not located well. We had to go through a bathroom and another bedroom to access the main house. The website photographs do not represent the house well. Had I known about the set up I would not of chosen this property. The beds were not comfortable. I would also suggest having some lysol wipes available to spruce up the bathrooms. By the end of the week we needed to clean the bathroom with eight adults using it. We were not going to buy cleaning supplies for a week stay so some basic supplies would have been beneficial. I would also suggest more toilet paper. I know you don't provide the toilet paper but we were out by the fist morning in the bathrooms. We arrived between 8 and 10 on Saturday night. I also own a rental in Venice that we could not stay at this trip because it was occupied. I know the maintenance and decorating I have done to entice my house for renters. It is not expensive!!! The agency could take one weeks rent (2500) and really add to the property. I really think some basic updates in the house and basic maintenance in the bathrooms would help the renters experience. A vacation is supposed to be special. The shades, bedspreads, sheets, shower hookstowels were all Walmart specials. I can go to my husbands hunting camp and do better. The pool was nice. Great Location George Z. from North Easton, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2013 We enjoyed the location very much it was walking distance to the town and a mile from the public beach. The furniture is in need of updating as it is not supportive of back and spine and another chair pulled apart and almost caused me to fall on the floor. The beds are not positioned in a way convenient for having guests as the best beds are in a converted garage that uses the same master bath with no way to maintain bathroom privacy. I did make this known to the owner. I did appreciate the rapid response to all my concerns during the stay by Kevin. I intend to return next year but would appreciate an upgrade in the well located home. The tv cable could also be upgraded a notch as well. Pool was great master bedroom comfortable. We did hire a cleaning service who did a good job. See you next year. The dryer stopped working and the furniture needed to be cleaned. The twin beds smelled of children's urine. The management was quick to response to the hot water situation. It was a great experience and the properties were nice, but the floor plan of the Bayside house was quite unusual however. It would have been nice to have the toilet paper and paper towels provided rather than having to take care of it ourselves - or at least made us aware that we would be responsible for those items. Also, there were some dead bugs in the living room and master bed room of the Park Lane property. Thanksgiving on Venice Island William T. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 We had a great time at the house in Venice. At one point during the week, we had 9 people staying in the house. On Thanksgiving Day, our parents, who are in assisted living nearby, joined us for dinner. We had a great time. The bedrooms were roomy, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Perhaps the best feature was the enclosed outdoor pool. We went in for a swim several times while we were there and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also took walks in the quiet neighborhood where the house is located. Downtown Venice is within walking distance, so we went there to eat a few times while we were there. Overall a great experience. Older home in need of update. Angela F. from Marshville, NC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 Air conditioner never went below 71 maintenance came to check it out, told me that in Fl. they don't go below that. WHAT!? Crazy. Never heard of such a thing. Originally from Louisiana never had that problem. Also no basic supplies other that salt and pepper shakers. Had to buy laundry detergent just to keep up with their towels. I don't expect to be a housekeeper on vacation. Kevin was great when we called. Even brought in a stand alone air conditioner. But I would.not recommend this house to anyone. I have two suggestions if I may. 1: Would be to replace the bathroom doors with actual doors, it is very difficult to have any privacy with louvered doors. And 2: to perhaps swap the king sized bed with the two queens in the extended garage bedroom to allow for more privacy in a "master" bedroom. As it is now, the "master" bedroom is a pass through to the rest of the house. Our water was also cut off during our stay, which was a little concerning. Turns out the city was doing some work and failed to notify the residents that our water would be off for a majority of one day. The other bathroom also had that dumb door, doesn't feel very private. We'd stay there again only if we had just our kids in that back room. Also there are like 5 different cleaning instructions throughout the house, none of which matched what the property manager told us (roll up the linens on the bed). The morning after we arrived, we realized that there was a leak in the second shower. As a result of the leak, the carpet leading to the bedroom with the two queen beds, was soaking wet. We immediately called Kevin to inform him of the plumbing issue and he told us that he had been aware of the problem. Kevin had the carpet cleaned for us and we agreed not to use that shower. Therefore, all of us had to use the one remaining shower/bathtub. We feel that it was gross negligence on the part of Vacation Rental Pros not to inform us of this major issue. Why were we not informed of a leaking shower before we arrived? When we rented the Bayshore house we did so knowing that we would have two showers available to us. This was a great inconvenience to our family. In addition, the fact that the carpet was wet and there was a possibility of mold put my grandchildren at risk for their safety and their health. We would request that you review the financial impact and refund us the appropriated value of this inconvenience.As for other issues: You need to reconsider the cleaning service that you employ. The floors were filthy, the blinds were very dusty and the carpets were not clean! The screens also had layers of dust; have they ever been washed? We had to ask Kevin to have the cleaning service return to clean the floors. We were embarrassed about the dirty floors and the dusty blinds. The louver door leading to the full bathroom was loaded with very grimy fingerprints. Even the artificial plants hadn't seen a dust cloth in a long time. We went around ourselves and tried to clean as best we could. In general, the house was not cleaned to our satisfaction.The pool operations were troublesome at times. The automatic settings were not so automatic. There was a power failure with the pool electrical system, causing the water temp to drastically fall. Great Vacation in Venice, FL A guest from 22459 Hamburg, Germany recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in March, 2009 The house on Bayshore Drive is located in a very nice neighborhood. The house itself is neatly furnished and and with its four bedrooms and spacious living room it offers plenty of space. The service was perfect (e.g. high chairs and baby beds as a courtesy, additional cleaning-up upon request) and friendly. Our children loved to play in the pool and in the garden. The houses is quite close to the beaches making it possible even to walk there. We definitely can recommend a stay at this property. Bayshore stay Jack and Chris M. from Noblesville, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2009 The house was fine, but saying it's a 4 bdrm is a little misleading. One of the bedrooms only access is through the master bath/bedroom, or going outside to get to the living room area. It would be fine if you had 3/4 kids with parents but for all adults, it has no privacy. Also, louver doors on the main bath???? NO privacy what so ever. The kitchen windows would not open unless you had pliers to crank them open. It was clean and the pool was nice though. Overall it was a good stay and we enjoyed the house. Nothing significant to report, good or bad. The layout of the house wasn' Roy R. from Walton, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2008 shared bathroom and others bedroom (or outside) to get to the living room. But we made do. Also, you have conflicting requirements as far as laundry, trash, etc between the various posted signs in the house and my contract. I went with the contract, of course, but you should consider getting all of the "rules" consistent. Requiring renters of a big house to do all of the laundry but 2 loads is a bit much, too. Most has early morning flights so it was a challenge to do laundry in the morning.Again, overall it was a good stay but for the above reasons I'd probably look for a different house next time we come back.Thanks. Best group vacation in years..... Lisa R. from elkhart, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 We had a total of 10 people stay at this house and all were very happy with our accomadations. We have already discussed staying at this house again next year. Besides the house being nice, the neighborhood was very plesant. It was a quiet and relaxing vacation. We also enjoyed the pool, there wasn't one day that it did not get used. This is the first time we as a family rented a home for our vacation, we always rented condos in the past. This was a great vacation. Thank you for everything... Stayed for 3 days in May, 2008 The homes i have rented from Steve Milo over the years have been wonderful as this one was. They are clean, neat, tastefully decorated, in excellent locations, have perfectly stocked kitchens and bathrooms, and are all around wonderful homes you would feel comfortable to stay in or reccomend to your family and friends. I have stayed in three different homes and would reccomend any of them and Steve's company anytime. |
