Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 We rented a 2 bedroom condo in Dec 2010, and were amazed by the beautiful hill in the background. The condo was clean in general, and had all the amenities. Some items that I expected to be present, but were missing are - sugar, more board games and matchbox for the fireplace.Also, the bathroom door didn't close completely, and the flush in one of them was broken. Because it didn't qualify as an emergency, the property manager wasn't able to fix it during our weekend stay.In a nutshell, it was a nice stay, but it could have been better. Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Station Rentals Your suggestion for board games has been passed on to the owner. The firepalce is a gas log style and does not require matches. Thank you for your understanding in reference to the toilet on Friday, Christmas Eve night. Thankfully the second toilet in the condo was fine for your three night stay. |

Mattress and Fireplace debacle A guest from Orinda, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2008 After skiing, all I wanted was a comfortable bed. But you won't find it here. The mattresses are terrible and no one slept well. The fireplace downstairs has the flue riveted open, so all the heat was sucked out of the house -- a wintertime freezefest. There were no matches and no instructions on how to light the gas unit in the fireplace, so I kept thinking I was going to explode after improvising a flame source and holding it over the gas jet. This unit needs a place to store ski gear (it is an easy walk to the Heavenly California Lodge). Loved the location but this unit needs a shave and a hot meal. |
