Great view, but interior in worn out condition. Gary J. from Collingwood, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 14 days in April, 2013 Great view of the ocean. The living area carpet was so spotted you felt uncomfortable walking around in your sock feet, the couch had three rips in it and was old and sagging, the patio doors were filthy, and were very tough to open, again from the dirt in the tracks. One burner on the stove did not work. No beach access as there were huge rocks preventing you getting to what little sand there was. You cannnot see both sunrise and sunset from the balcony as advertised - could not sit on balcony as furniture was too old. Three pools were advertised - could only assess 2 as one belonged to a different company. And the heated pool is only heated until March! The blinds are falling apart and dont keep the light out - and rattle all day. The bedding is so old the elastic on the sheet corners wont hold the sheets in place, and the towels rough as they are so cheap/old. THis unit should not be rented until an upgrade is completed. Lovely area and surf club 1 is very tidy and quiet Laura B. from Elloughton, recommends this property. However we came from the Uk and thought the information given us by the rental company was lacking. We expected to be able to collect the key before 3.00pm although we were aware we couldnt enter the condo until 3.00pm. When we arrived at the lock box to collect the key we were told by an older lady rather sharply that we couldnt have the key until later. We had just travelled a few thousand miles and found her attitude very unfriendly. We went off to do some grocery shopping and then returned for the keys. When we arrived after 3.00pm at the condo it was still being cleaned and were told we would have to come back in around half an hour, our shopping was getting rather warm by this stage and we were getting tired and just wanted to settle in. On our return we had an email to say we needed to strip the bed, we had already left home by the time this email was received, couldnt we have had it earlier? We did put all the towels in the washer so hope we will not get charged extra for not washing the bed linen. Overall these were minor niggles we had a lovely holiday in Florida. Never Again A guest from Mississauga, Ontario does not recommend this property. Stayed for 31 days in March, 2012 When we arrived at the unit 2508 SurfClub 1, we saw a very nice view of the ocean. That is where it stopped. The four patio doors in the unit were dirty ( windows and tracks) and none of the screens could be opened without a lot of effort. The little furniture that there was in the unit was old, torn and so dirty that we had to find extra sheets to cover some of the furniture. Patio furniture was also dirty and could not be cleaned. There was mold in the master shower. This is a very serious problem and should have been resolved immediately but never was. The stove also made a buzzing noise so we had to turn it on and off at the fuse box each time we used it. Our contract with Vacation Rental Pro stated that we would have basic phone service and wireless internet. We had neither. We drove to their office to advise and it took one week to get these things installed. One of the management team came out to review our issues and atempted to fix the screen doors. He showed no interest in resolving our problems. We advised him that the "heated" pool per the VRP contract was not heated and he advised it was not a VRP problem. Certainly not a "5 Star Property Management Group". All in all we feel that VRP fraudulently rented this unit to us. We are considering posting this on Trip Advisor so that others do not have the same experience. March 2011 A guest from Woodstock, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in March, 2011 We had stayed in another unit at Surf Club 1 in 2010 and had checked out 2508 during our stay. We really liked it's location and the view and balcony are great. Unfortunately there were a few problems with the unit that did not actually affect our stay but were not up to the expected quality. The rug in the living room was badly spoted even though the unit had been cleaned before our arrival. A call to vaction pros was all that was needed to arrange for a deep carpet cleaning. Also we found the patio/balcony furniture to be sub par. Two of the four plastic chairs were broken and the plastic table was in need of replacement or at least a good power wash. We were only able to stay for one of our scheduled five weeks due to a family emergency but hope to rent the unit or another in the complex next year. Communication with Steve Milo of Vaction Renatl Pros assured us that we would be given a discount next year after losing most of our fees this year. In all I would recommend this property to anyone. The location in Palm Coast is great. Nice and quiet but close enough to golf courses/restaurants/shopping etc. The beach is not great for swimming but low tide offers some interesting exploration. The heated pool, which you overlook from the balcony, is a plus. Do Not Come to Palm Coast if you want to Swim! Kim L. from Lilburn, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2008 Given the length of stay (7 nights), we definitely need more toilet paper and napkins. There was no additional napkins and toilet paper stored in the condo. Also, I never rent a condo that requires us to clean the linen and towels, vacuum the carpet and sweep the floor before leaving!!! Most places only ask you to empty the trash and clean the dishes(Please read your contract agreement since all of these are specified in there). We did it all, yet, not very pleased since after all, you are on vacation and have to pay $150 cleaning fee). The view is beautiful, yet the beach is not swimmable due to rocks. I will never return here nor recommend it to anybody. I have to say that the condo is spacious and have a great view. |

This is a very nice place to come for a more private vacation spot. I had three teenage boys and there wasn't much for them to Janet Q. from Mason, OH recommends this property.
