Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 Only issue I would suggest correcting is the TV and internet were not function when we first got there, I had to reset both a couple times before they functioned, also the beds in the master and second br, were so warn in from past use they were very uncomfortable, they really need new mattresses or at least to be flipped and rotated properly, for example the bed in the master felt like it had 2 warn out divits where people had slept in the same place for years with a big hump in the middle, the bed in the second BR was so warn in at the top that your feet at the bottom were actually above your head. Peaceful stay in Palm Coast Anne D. from Evans, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 1063 Cinnamon Beach was very clean upon our arrival. I typically come prepared to scrub a rental unit, but it was not needed at all in this case. The furnishings were upscale and new, and the unit was stocked with just about everything you could need (more than just the standard "one" trash bag, toilet paper roll, etc.). The balcony is great - large with nice furniture, a fan, and a lovely view. There are a few minor maintenance issues that should be addressed in the future (carpets could stand a steam clean, the guest bath tub drains slowly, and the lock on the sliding door is difficult to engage). The pool areas are very nice, and we loved the food offerings (great service!). Great beach - lots of shells - not crowded at all. There are a few rocks so be careful at high tide. There is a Publix supermarket not far away and a few local restaurants in the immediate area. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Good location but shabby A guest from Grand Haven, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 I have stayed at Ocean Hammock with my family for the last three years. Previously we had been very happy, but this condo was a let down. We had to wait almost 45 minutes extra to check in because cleaning was not done, and when we did get in it was still dirty. It was dusty, the carpets needed to be vacuumed more and there was garbage left in the bottom of the garbage can. The wireless Internet and TV in the living room did not work and had to be fixed by maintenance after our arrival. The living room furniture looks good in the picture, but was shabby and completely uncomfortable. Good thing we spent most of the time at the beach. The view from the large patio was nice, but some of the patio furniture is broken and is actually being held together by wires. We definitely won't be staying here again....very disappointing. It was so nice to be in a place away from the hype and to relax by the beach. The condo itself is amazing and so stylish, it had everything we needed. I was apprehensive at first because I wasn't sure there was a lot for us to do in the community around us but I was so wrong, we went to Flagler beach a lot and also Daytona Beach, mainly because the weather was poor so we decided to go shopping and see the sights. If there had been lovely sunshine we would not have left the complex at all. He was a wonderful ambassador to your facility. When we arrived at the front door I found I never received the code to enter the apartment. While on the phone however the maintance man for the unit came along and said if I had any trouble he could help. I explained my problem and wahla he immediately got me the code with no delay. Once we entered the unit we found it as beautiful as the pictures. The kids loved the beach and the pool area. And we all enjoyed the friendly service at the grill. The garden view overlooking the lake was such a pleasant plus and added to the fun as we spent our down time watching the wildlife that occupied the lake. Stayed for 12 days in August, 2011 The property is great and everything looks really great however the mattresses are in horrible condition. Trying to sleep on a King size with the feeling that you are going to roll out of the bed at any moment is not a nice experience... the pillows feel like plastic garbage bags with a bit of foam inside, bunk beds mattresses are also terrible. We are not picky with beds but this apartment is to avoid unless they address this issue, too bad since the decoration, condition, etc. is great but I wouldn't return here. This is the first time I have a complaint about a VRPros property but I just have to voice it. Don't rent it unless you are willing to pay a Chiropractor bill after your vacation :-( If the mattresses are replaced I would give 4 stars for condition. I would still skip one star since the living room sofas are also really uncomfortable. Only minor issue was we saw several live roaches - think they just come with the beach and FL unfortunately as unit was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in! Management was super quick to respond to anything we called about (needed washcloths and ice maker stopped working). Things were delivered/fixed within a couple hours. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2010 We had a great time and the condo was beautiful. the only downfall I saw to the rental was the beach itself. There are large rocks and reef making navigation of the water difficult unless the tide was low. I was not comfortable with my kids in the water after the tide would come up over the rocks. I felt like it would be just too easy for one of them to get hurt. Otherwise, we loved it. Most likely, though, we will not return, just for the sheer sake of the rocks and reef. It would be much nicer to go in the ocean whenever we wanted. But again, the place was beautiful and quiet. A really nice family getaway. Vacation at Cinnamon Beach Stan B. from Jefferson City, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2009 The room and lay out was very nice. Beautiful master bath, plasma's TV's, etc. Couldn't get the DVD to work until we unplugged and plugged it back in. Overall, very nice view in appearrance. Some issues we had were:1. One of the two pools was down 2 of three days we were there. The lone pool was over crowded and had a lot of debris floating and on the bottom. Due to lack of pool avaiability, felt the value of the stay was over priced.2.) Very dissappointed with the beach. It is a coquina beach and had big rocks hiden in the surf. The kids got scratched several times. This made the lack of pools even more important. Crescant Beach is just up the road and is a white sandy beach with NO rocks.3.) You have to cross a toll bridge to get to the property. Costs 2 bucks anytime you leave to go out to eat or to the store, etc. I had 6 in my party with two cars, so it cost us 4 bucks for every trip across the channel.4.) We were on the top floor, 6th. The elevator was one of the slowest I have ever riden. It took over a minute to do down once you are inside with no stops. Stairs are available if you like the exercise. Cinnamon Beach, Palm Coast David D. from Leadgate, Consett recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2009 An excellent place to stay at the end of April or beginning of May if you want a quiet holiday on the coast. The resort is a little remote but this is outweighed by the totally unoccupied beach. St Augustine is about 20 miles north and well worth a visit or two. Daytona Beach is about 20 miles south. We found Daytona Beach to be a disappointment but this could have been due to the time of year. For Golfers there are 2 championship golf courses on the complex, with World Golf Village about 45 minutes drive and TPC at Sawgrass about 1 hour drive. Facilities at Cinnamon Beach are superb and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.Cinnamon Beach is a small part of a much larger complex so it benefits from the intimacy of a small resort but also has the ammenities of the larger complex. This adds to it's attaction. Vacation Rental Pro's were very helpful. They are their when you need them without being intrusive and as a company they do everything they say they will. I'd be happy to recommend both the resort and the company. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful, but my children could not enjoy the beach because of the rocks. My suggestion would be clear out an area where the kids can get in and enjoy the ocean. Mine tried and ended up with deep cuts all up and down their legs. I understand about the natural reef, but clearing out an area for entrance into the ocean would make the place so much more enjoyable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
